Broken: Book 6

Rate this book
After being hurdled through time, Isla must figure out a new path in life without her beloved Dallin by her side. She knows she must forge her relationship back with Nate, but with all that happened, even though it was erased, the memories weren't. She is bound by the laws of the universe not to speak of anything that hasn't happened. Luckily a few friends, including Nate's broody watch brother, Raith, begin to guess there's more that lies beneath the surface than what they can see. Any other time she would have run to Tahariel, her best friend, but she hasn't the slightest clue as to what happened and because of that sickbay is no longer her sanctuary on board the warship. Raith seems to be the perfect solution for them all. Nate sends him to guard her since she locked him out of her world, and he can trust him since Raith is an emotionally devoid empath. A perfect handler for his high strung mate. Isla can trust him because he is one of the few that understands her emotions without her ever having to speak a word. He teaches her a whole new way of being. Isla's heart heals when they go back to Earth for a surprise party at her castle. Only evil lingers there to break her happiness at the most unexpected moment. Isla can't take it and flees with her personal Guardian at her side they make welcome with the strangest of English bedfellows, the Danes. Secrets begin to unfold that haven't had an answer from day one, and Raith just might be the key.
