What an amazing story. Have the tissues ready for chapter 10. This gives such a wonderful picture of love, pain, faith and healing.

The author's retrospect of her life's sudden turns, her faith, her sorrow, joys and resilience. Through her divorce, her search for love, and her son's illness, Gretchen sprinkles her narrative with her artwork, her faith and references to lyrics from the musical Hamilton. Added to this, she weaves humorous observations as a flight attendant. Her story is an inspiration to anyone who faces adversity in life. And it's just a darn good read.

Gretchen goes through a divorce . She falls in love with someone else only to find out it doesn’t work out . She also deals with her son’s illness. Gretchen gets through all this through artwork and her deep faith . She is a flight attendant and adds humor to this story .
