This was a wonderful collection of short stories from the Under His Heel series. It was nice to read about Alex and Tracht's life after the bondservant contract ended and also the various moments during the five year contract period.
Getting a peak into Tracht's life before Alex, childhood and seeing how others noticed his small changes regarding Alex was interesting.
I also liked how we got to see Parson get a happy ending. I hoped he would find happiness and that his relationship with his brother-in-law might become romantic.
Also, seeing the various side characters from Bahjat, Nadia, Singh, and the Tracht family was lovely.
Overall it was a delightful read, and excited to start the spin-off series Leashing His Heart.

It was nice to return to Alex and Tracht and jump between times, look behind the scenes here and there and experience something more.

The cherry on top of this glorious series.
You know how sometimes you read a book and just wish you got that liiittle bit more? Adara Wolf clearly knows how to give the people what they want, because this is that little bit more.
This is basically back-to-back short snippets that amount to a veritable kink encyclopedia...a kinkclopedia, if you will. Figging, caning, double penetration, pony play, human furniture, somnophilia - you name it, it's probably in here.
We also get to see scenes that were referenced to in the previous books + different POVs - not just Alex & Tracht, which was such a fun little treat (I was especially delighted by Jeremy & Kai's section).
I am truly so sad that the series is over but one, I'm just being greedy because I think we got way more than most authors ever give, and two, I am absolutely coming back to reread the entire series in the very near future.

I never know how to rate those kind of "extras", but those were fun. Lot of flash fictions and some longer short stories going from before the first book in the series to after the last one. Even though the resulting book is pretty much novel-length with 280 pages, this reads pretty fast. I particularly appreciated seeing Tracht and Alex from other people's eyes! And of course I liked every moment that come anywhere close to romantic, in Tracht's special, twisted and messed up way.

This was a great collection to round out the whole series! It has short stories and flash fiction covering from before Under His Heel, to past the end of the series. Some fic for secondary characters - I love Bahjat so much - and scenes that were referenced in-series too. All around a really fun read.

Some fun shorts here. Some I really enjoyed, some not so much. It was interesting to get a few shorts from characters & POVs other than Alex and Tracht’s (though I don’t think any characters can top those two for me. I love Alex and Tracht’s antics). All in all, a good accompaniment to the Under His Heel series & universe.

This book of very short stories reminded me how much I love, and miss, Alex and Tracht. I think it might be time for a re-read.
Most of the stories are just a couple of pages long, but they give more insight into their unusual relationship.
This book is only for people who loved the first four books of this series.

A good extra to the series
More Alex and Tracht and their dynamics. They are just fit for each other through these short stories. Over the time you can see how Tracht needs Alex and vice versa. I enjoyed reading the book!

That was... Alright
Some of these are kind of nice and give more of an insight into Alex and Tracht. Some show us the characters we haven't seen before much or not as deeply.
The last story was not the right choice, though. Ended on a disturbing note.

Best summary of their super toxic but also functional for them dynamic: “But Tracht also, clearly, understood the rules of society, and he’d found a legal outlet with a man who wasn’t really fit for society himself.”

Alex and Tracht is like water or air for me, I need to know about their life like I need air. This shor stories collection is just what I needed now, it was everything. I could do with more (waaaaay more), but I'm not complaining, it was perfect.
If you haven't read the original story, pick that up first. I just love everything about this world, and Trach is so good, yummy. I love how Alex suffers under him. Reading this collection just gave me a craving for a re-read, I miss Tracht and Alex.
