TRUE REVELATION! This tiny book teaches the power of the holy communion that I started doing since the doctor told me I was anemic. I took a lab test on 2/24/14 and my HGB was 8.2 I retook the test yesterday on 4/30/14 and it is now 10.9! 11.1 is considered normal so PRAISE JESUS for His healing power.

This is one of the most significant books I have every read. It's short and to the point. Joseph Prince clearly explains how to separate the body (bread) of Christ from the blood (wine) of Christ when taking Communion. Jesus "took" our diseases on to His body by His stripes, so we would not have to take diseases on to our bodies. Shedding of the Blood was for the remission of our sins.

In conjunction with reading this, I've watched Joseph Princes' 3 videos on Discerning the Lord's Body in Holy Communion. I will continue to meditate on these truths as I take Communion daily, for a minimum of 21 days (In keeping with a brain scientist - Dr. Caroline Leaf's teaching on building new thought trees in the brain.) The Word literally becomes our flesh (thoughts).

This is a quick and easy read and it provides you with what the act of taking communion is really all about. It puts straight any misconceptions one may have had regarding communion. And who would have thought to take communion everyday and in the privacy of my own home!? I recommend you read it--take notes and pass it along!

Change your way of thinking

I had been studying communion and along with the scriptures on the sacrifices made before Christ I was reading material written by different authors. This book registered in my spirit. The scriptures are the usual scriptures but this writing is looking at it in a non traditional. It is bro going out the covenant way. It's not just holy communion it is our answer to wholeness . I love it. The testimonies just makes it more real and encouraging. It is written very well and it is to the point.

What is the holy communion? Within this book, Joseph Prince says the Lord’s Supper for your health and wholeness. In 3 short chapters Prince, wants to convey the message that the Lord Supper is not memorial, rather it is a means of blessing for christians.

First, Prince reflects on his past experience of how he has always been afraid of partaking the holy communion in an unworthy manner and thus sometimes even forgoes it. Prince wants christians to no longer live in such fear, rather he wants them to embrace and grasp the blessings that God has given in the Lord Supper.

First, Prince suggests to the readers that the drink represents Christ’s blood that cleanses us from our sins. But what about he bread? Prince says that the bread is the means by which we receive health or wholeness through it. Prince uses Mark 7:26-28 to make this point and thus brings forward his next teaching on this topic.

Prince tells believers that by partaking the Lord Supper, blessings such as health and healing will come their way. This is why they should not stop partaking the Lord’s Supper. If they do, they are preventing themselves from receiving this blessings. Lastly, Prince punctuates within his books with various testimonies of how people have received miraculous healing through their parking of the Lord’s Supper.

As a whole although I firmly disagree with what Prince is saying. He writes in an engaging and easily understandable manner. What I find most lacking within this book is how Prince proclaims a very shallow understanding of what the Lord’s supper is. Is wholeness and health all there is to it in the Lord’s Supper? I suppose not. As such, I would not recommend anyone to read this book.

If you have ever been curious about Holy Communion this book explains the true meaning behind it perfectly. It is not a ritual, not an action to be feared, and for sure is misunderstood. JP breaks it down in the simplest terms so that anyone can understand. It has changed every thing I have ever been taught about Communion and I am so grateful! This 81 page pamphlet is priceless! Health and Wholeness Through the Holy Communion by Joseph Prince. For $7 I found it rather low on info. and alot on hype. Yes it was informative, yet it lack in depth. It left me "ok, now what?" Well, Mr. Prince should have developed a bigger book.

Pastor Prince's charismatic and energetic way of ministry reverberates in the book. I can almost hear him deliver the message with much love, passion and gusto. His message is the holy communion made simple, but all the more meaningful and accessible to all of us - just as Jesus Christ is. I am deeply touched when he reminded me of the magnitude and gravity of God's love, that made Jesus took the beating, being broken and wounded, and with it took my sins and sickness to the cross. And when I remember it through the holy communion, I offer all my cares, and by God's grace exchange it for health and wholeness. May I continue to live out this message.

While there is some truth contained in its pages, there is an abundance of dangerous teaching and falsehood. Sadly so many preachers think the Christian life is all about "getting from God."

I'll try to come back and elaborate but my advice is to toss this book in the trash.

Prince Pots #1
Well from the very beginning of this book the theology is suspect and the emphasis on physical healing is not what the Bible teaches and has nothing to do with the meaning of communion.
It really is bad theology all the way through, and misuse of scripture and padded out with testimonials which don't prove a case at all.
Anyway some may find it has inspirational value I guess, but the theology behind the message is wrong, wrong, wrong and this book went straight to the recycle bin.

You are worthy. Enjoy remembering your righteousness in Him, and your healthy whole spirit. JP doesn’t discuss this in this book, but the Lord has shown me everything we consume is a shadow of communion and enjoyment of Jesus.

I was immediately alarmed at what I saw was a misinterpretation of scripture very early on in the book. Yes, communion is powerful, but the arguments are weak. There are exaggerated statements. In places it felt like he was twisting scripture to defend his point. It made it hard for me to like this book and appreciate the message.
