**SPOILERS**

Whew chile! Where do I even begin? Braxton and Prynce were horrible characters. I didn't like either one of them at all. They had the worst characteristic traits ever. She was weak and allowed him to manipulate her with sex and he was a mama's boy who let his mama run his life and walk all over him. Prynce allowed Catherine to disrespect and degrade Braxton and he never once checked her about it or defended Braxton. She even called their daughter a bastard and Prynce didn’t say a damn thing. Not only that but, Braxton never called Prynce out about not checkin' his mama either. I had a huge problem with that. That's when I started to dislike him. Each time Braxton and Prynce got into some kind of argument, he would use sex to manipulate her to get his way and she let him. I’m still trying to understand why Catherine hated Reta so much when, she didn’t even love Kingston. She was in love with that shady azz coach. And, when that so called plot twist was reveled about Prynce and the coach, it was kind of glossed over. There was no real discussion about it and it was never brought up again. Prynce acted like it was no big deal. That was just weird. The whole thing with Prynce’s mama signing contracts behind his back was unrealistic and unbelievable. First of all, it’s illegal and secondly, Catherine was not his agent or his manager so she wouldn’t’ve been able to sign anything on his behalf. When Prynce finds out about the fraudulent contacts, he never even confronts his mama about it. I never understood that. We didn't get any kind of closure on what happened with Prynce’s mama. Are her and Coach Samuels together now? Did anything happen to her for illegally signing those contracts? After all the shyt she did, it would've been nice to see Catherine get some kind of comeuppance. The author doesn’t say if Prynce’s daddy and Braxton’s mama finally get back together. What happened with his wife and their divorce? That was never brought up again. There were more than a few things left unanswered in this book. When It All Falls was a huge disappointment. I’m bummed because, I was so excited to read this book and it was not what I expected. It definitely did not give what needed to be given.

Potential

While this story had loads of potential….there was too much back and forth unnecessarily for my taste and a lot of messiness left unresolved. BTW…a ranch home does not have an upstairs…that’s either a bungalow or craftsman ( depending on the style)

I enjoyed this story, it was a classic small town second chance romance. That mama tho? Whew chile I was ready to come thru this Kindle.

Baby Aliyah was the start of the show, I loved uncle Louie as well! The entire supporting cast are much needed glow to this overall story.

Now can someone tell me if Eric and the cousin got a spinoff? 👀

Braxton and Prynce were inseparable and in love. But the night before he was drafted into professional basketball, Braxton lets him go, but she takes something of his with her...

So this story tugged at my heart. I didn't want Braxton to have hid Prynce's daughter from him but I understood why. Prynce came back in like a bulldozer, digging up the past, resurrecting their love. He knew what he was owed, but he also knew what Braxton needed. He was a man prepared to cover all his bases. He knew how it was going to be and he set about making that happen. He took entirely too long to check his mother and I felt genuine anger every time she attacked Braxton. The tangled web weaved by their parents being the foundation for everything was a plot twist I wasn't expecting but I loved. It was mess, but not over the top or hard to follow. Braxton's resistance to stepping out of her comfort zone and her aversion to risk was understandable, but it was nice to see her push through that. Prynce learning how to temper his dominance with finesse and patience was a very good piece of the writing as well. And their lust was off the charts, as per usual. I knew when they fell back in, that would be the thing to catch them and I wasn't disappointed. Very well done.

Woosah...

I had to take a breather before I reviewed this one!!! Catherine had me f'ed up. Ole demon!!!

This trope can be predictable sometimes but Cassandra B. made it a great read. Braxton was feisty. Prynce was dominant, and when he put Catherine in her place... It was orgasmic. #OleWhore

I will be patiently waiting on an essay, a composition, a blurb... anything that shows that Catherine getting her ass kicked...

Anyways... 4⭐s Highly Recommend.

Whew child! My blood pressure!

This book had my pressure up from go! I wanted to punch Prynce in the throat, run over his mama and slap his daddy for being so freaking weak! But sometimes it takes losing something to appreciate it. Prynce needed to grow up and keeping it real, so did Braxton. But can we talk about the star of this book, Aaliyah? That little girl needs a book by herself because she was everything and sometimes too much!

Well

The main problem with this book is that it needed to be longer. It needed to be longer because too much happened for them to get back together like that. Hiding a marriage was a big thing and I know she had a baby, but he was still too selfish for hiding that information from her. It almost seemed like a generational curse with his family. That wasn't what was actually happening because there were other things that happened with that marriage but it was really foul. I honestly got to a point where I wanted another male lead. I hated his mother so much that I started to hate him. He did speak up but it still wasn't enough. And I honestly think that the first reunion was too fast too, especially with the way his mother was. At one point I was about to start saying "stand up" like that lady in the TikTok. Also I did not like her cousin like everybody else seemed to. She was too permissive with Prynce. She was already on my bad side when she gave him something toward the beginning of the book. I felt like she was not thinking about her cousin at all. That last argument that they had didn't even make sense. How do you say a man was right over your cousin with everything that happened?! She needed to be more like Charlotte (SATC) and less... pick me.

After everything that happened with his mother and everything else he needed to woo her. He needed to hit his knees in prayer and supplication to her. The writing is still good though. She's one of my favorite authors and I actually do like her short insta love books but this one just did not work for me because of the male lead, Nika, and his mother. I loved her mother and Uncle Louie.

In my opinion, Braxton made the right decision in breaking things off with Prynce when he was drafted. Prynce was too immature to handle a relationship as intense as the relationship he had with Braxton, while being new to the NBA. His immaturity was evident in the choices he made. It definitely didn't help that he had a crazy ass mama. I think Prynce would've made his way back to Braxton eventually, but finding out about Aaliyah pushed his timeline up.

I loved that Braxton's mom and Uncle Louie were so supportive. Ms. Laretta & Uncle Louie always made sure Braxton was taken care of, and set her up so that she didn't need Prynce's support. From the moment they found out about Aaliyah, they were on board to ensure that Braxton & Aaliyah were good. I loved this for them!

And Little Ms. Aaliyah!! Sis is SPICY😂😂 That little girl was funny AF to me.

Whose the only one who can hold you up

Young love torn apart by hateful people!
Braxton and Prynce were the loves of each other’s lives from grade school through college and would always be together until they weren’t. He left for his nba hoop filled dreams and she dropped out filled with many things - one of them being hurt.

Let me say this - his mama should burn in hell and if you read this story you will totally understand why!

Great read! Definitely enjoyed it. Hard to make life altering decisions during a highly emotional time. Facts matter and when you tell the facts matters even more.

Gotta catch up on the happy friends that were mentioned as well as if Nika has a story as well as his brother Alex.

Momma's whew

Okay, this is the second book I've read in consecutive days where the mothers were a mess. Braxton broke up with Prynce before his professional career to free herself from heartache and his overbearing mother. Years later they were back in the same space with hearts still filled with love. I knew the task of getting back together would not be a walk in the park, especially with his rude mom as his agent. Some of the facts revealed in the story had me clutching my pearls. I believed things would work out for this pair based on their history. The story was a good, good read.

No words

It took me all night to sit with this story. Although I believe Prynce loved Braxton, I don't think he's ever going to not be selfish and self involved. But he got that honest. I can't even say all I want to say because I don't want to spoil the story.
I will say, Prynce did not make it to book bae status for me. I wish Braxton would have found a better man. She deserves better.
The story is very well written, which is why I am all in my feelings. I loved Braxton's family and her baby girl is everything. Prynce AND his mama and coach can go on somewhere.

Amazing

I needed somebody to pop Prynce's mama in the mouth. I couldn't believe she used her son for his money all those years. Said she didn't want his father with Braxton's mother, but she slept with and got pregnant by her husband's bestfriend.
I wanted her to lose everything, so she can see she couldn't make without her uncouthed manner in which she got it. Like she was self-made. I hope her unemployed lover has enough funds for her.
I was so disappointed how Prynce allowed his mother to dictate his life and disrespect Braxton.

Prince and Braxton

Childhood sweethearts separated as their lives changed in different directions. Three years later, they meet again secrets revealed, and feeling rekindled. There was some drama, some passion, some maturing. In my opinion, the return of the relationship was too easy. There was no real apology. It felt more like establishing dominion, The female character , although she was well established and well-developed She didn’t set any boundaries and I didn’t see her strength. Overall, it was a really good read.

Another Phenomenal Read!

I love me some second-chance love stories! My SC home girl did not disappoint. Seeing Braxton and Prynce find their way back together and gain a better understanding of what true sacrifice and compromise is……whew! Lawd, and the curveballs. I haven’t said so many “Now, I KNOWs” in a minute. Literally had to walk away from my phone and come back! Great job!!

Decent Read

I really love this Shorty story about Braxton and Prynce. I was captivated from the first chapter until the very end. I’m happy they found their way back to each other but then again that’s what true love’s about. I can’t stand that woman Prynce call a mother! To see the kind of secrets she harbored for years.. hmph. I’m just happy she got the boot in the end.Loved every bit of this story.

When It All Falls

From the beginning I was all in. Braxton couldn’t compete with Prynce’s over bearing mother at all! Braxton only wanted Prynce even 3 years later but I wish she lived a little and “knew” others during that period. She is clearly the prize here but to her Prynce was her king. With all that being said she was far from weak. Aaliyah was adorable. Who knew what secrets would come tumbling out! Good read with layers and layers of unpredictable drama!

Sweet and Steamy

I read the reviews and decided to read it anyway. I am glad that I did, because the things said about Prynce wasn’t true at all. He stood up to his mother less than halfway through the book. Heck, she didn’t reappear until then from the beginning of the story. I was prepared to be mad at Prynce for being a momma’s boy, but he wasn’t. That’s all I will say about the book. Other than you might want to take a peak inside. I also want a Nika and Eric book.

Good story

This was a good story. I wasn’t that big a fan of Prynce. I just felt like he continued to take the easy way out. He did t work hard enough to woo Braxton, in my opinion. His mom was just evil and he continued to let him disrespect Braxton. I’m glad he finally grew a pair in the end.

Lifetime love

Couple goals are the highlight of Prynce and Braxton’s love story ❤️ This story has more twist, angst, and laugh out loud moments that a reader will be begging for more! Cassandra B and Aubree Pynn are taking their readers on an emotional thrill ride through the pages of this book and I’m here for it all. Terrific all around🥰

Great story, Cassandra B AKA A Pynn always delivers. I always enjoy a secret baby story. This one kept my attention until the end. Braxton and Pryce were meant to be🥰. Glad they got it together. Aaliyah was a mess🤦🏽‍♀️!! Pryce’s mom was 🗑 trash and selfish as hell!!! She needed a whipping!!! Definitely a five star read.

Love it 😀 😍 ❤️

This book had me on a roller coaster ride and I enjoyed it very much. Prynce and Braxton's love go through some changes. Greed, jealousy and just plain griminess is on the agenda in this book yet, love prevails. As always it's an absolute pleasure reading your books 🥰.

So good! 😍

I'm late on the scene but it was certainly a great read!
Please know that his mother deserves all the smoke coming her way. She will certainly get her turnaround because she is pure evil!
Loved the way the story unfolds. What's meant for you is for YOU❣️

Well done Author Cassandra B. 💖

Disappointing

This book had potential but really missed the mark. The story was underdeveloped and it didn't flow. There were also a number of errors. The daughter did not speak like a three year old. Sometimes it can be hard for authors to write in the voice of a child but they should have done more research. Definitely won't be re- reading.

Would not recommend.

Beautiful second chance love

AP consistently great stories and this is no different. Loved Prynce and Braxton and the story had enough drama, truth telling and bombshells to keep me on the edge of my seat. Absolutely LOVED this tale!!

Couldn’t stop reading!!

Engaging, crazy, passionate, shady, emotional , sexy, shocking, and throughly entertaining from beginning to end. This is how I describe “When it All Falls” Aubree left no crumbs with this story, but I’m hoping for Nika and Eric’s story. Well done!!

Very Good Book

I really hate Prynce mom. Braxton didn't deserve to be treated that way. Prynce should have told Braxton how he felt them years ago. Braxton deserves to be happy. She should have told Prynce about the baby. I am glad everything worked out for them in the end.

I did not like this book at all. I couldn't stand Prynce or Braxton. I should have taken heed to what another reviewer said about the way Prynce's mother acted towards Braxton and her daughter Aaliyah.

I wanted to see how this one ended and it was a big disappointment. 😪

I enjoyed this book but Prynce mama got on my nerves I wanted to hypothetically put her in heads of lock. I was also happy with the way things turned out for Braxton & Prynce.
