NEW BOOK CLAIMS DONALD TRUMP WILL RUN AND WIN IN 2024!
A riveting account of the HOAX that sent a presidential campaign chairman to solitary confinement because he wouldn’t turn against the President of the United States.
The chief weapon deployed by the government-corporate-media Establishment against the Trump presidency was propaganda. Time and again, allegations from anonymous sources were disseminated by a partisan media, promoted by a dishonest Democrat Party leadership, and ultimately debunked when the facts surfaced. But by the time the truth came out, it was too late. There had already been casualties.
One of the highest profile casualties was Paul Manafort.
Desperate to defeat Donald Trump—or hamper his presidency after he won—Democrats and their Establishment allies colluded with foreign operatives to concoct a completely false narrative about Paul’s supposed conspiracy with pro-Russian elements in Ukraine to further Vladimir Putin’s efforts to influence the 2016 presidential election. But it wasn’t just defamation of Paul’s character. They took the unprecedented step of enlisting the US intelligence and law enforcement communities in using their power against President Trump and his campaign team.
Political Prisoner finally exposes the lies left unchallenged by media who pronounced Paul guilty long before his case ever saw the inside of a courtroom. Not only is it untrue that Victor Yanukovych or any of Paul’s clients were “pro-Putin,” it is the opposite of the truth. Paul’s work in Ukraine and throughout his career was 100 percent aligned with US interests in the countries he worked in, sometimes even acting as a back channel for the White House itself.
Neither was Paul guilty of laundering money, evading taxes, or deliberately deceiving the US government by failing to register as a foreign agent—which he wasn’t. These were all politically motivated charges manufactured by the Special Counsel’s team for one reason and one reason to get Paul to testify against Donald Trump about a conspiracy that never existed. When they hear the basis of these spurious charges, Americans will wonder what country they are living in and what has happened to our system of justice.
Political Prisoner tells the real story of Paul’s life and career, exploding the lies about his work in Ukraine, his previous work with foreign governments and business interests in other countries, his involvement with the Trump campaign, and the “process crimes” for which he was wrongly convicted and sent to prison. It is no exaggeration to say that everything most Americans think they know about Paul Manafort is false.
Constitutional Attorney and Legal Scholar Alan Dershowitz commented that this book was a must read for those concerned about the "weaponization of the criminal justice system for partisan purposes."
Mr. Manafort, in my opinion, well documented about how he was persecuted because of his association with Donald Trump. I found the book easy to read, if not infuriating because of what Manafort experienced at the hands of a supposed democratic government.
Surprisingly free from rancor, Paul Manafort fills in the blanks lefts by lies, subterfuge and a totally biased, inept media.
Manafort spent less than a year helping Trump secure the nomination and become the 45th President of the USA. What he received in return was being the victim of a fabricated witch hunt that resulted in almost 3 years of incarceration prior to being pardoned. The courtroom chapters are incredibly interesting and completely dichotomous with the D. C. judge, worthy of being prosecuted for misconduct herself, to the MD and NY judges, both of whom saw thru and called out the prosecution on their misdeeds, to varying degrees and outcomes. Manafort’s writing is emotional and detailed.
He writes the majority of this book in chronological order, laying out the details as they happened to him. After a bit of ground laying, the course of events begins to feel like a freight train that’s out of control or a very long VERY BAD dream that just won’t end. Manafort admits his fears and fights for his life but doesn’t throw anyone else under the bus that is Andrew Weissman, Special Counsel. His actions, both in and out of court are beyond the scope of polite language. This book provides transcripts and conversations that should assuage the mind of reasoned person.
I didn’t know a whole lot about Manafort prior to reading this book. Like others, I suspected and assumed based on “information” from various reporting agencies or other books and I did think there were pieces of the puzzle that were missing. “Political Prisoner” puts many of those pieces together, for me. I’m especially thankful for his sense of duty to country, family and faith while in pursuit of truth and defense for himself. Aside from a few lame attempts at humor, there is no snark or slander and expletives are limited, (with one exception), to direct quotes.
Closing the book is a 20 page epilogue where Manafort summarizes all the miscarriages of government, (not just his), from Trump’s 4 years and then takes a look at how the country has changed in Biden’s 18 months. These 20 pages alone are worth the price of the book, altho’ the rest is very good reading.
I don’t know if Manafort was guilty of tax fraud, or not. Based on sentencing given to others, his was far and away unjustified. There was clearly another motive for which the government couldn’t prosecute successfully so they made things up and were partially successful.
Persecuted, prosecuted, but fortunately he wasn’t silenced and “Political Prisoner” is a worthy read📚
Possibly the worst book out of the tens of thousands I’ve read over the years.
The title made me fall down laughing. What, he thinks he’s in the gulag? He thinks he didn’t get fair trials? Too bad, cupcake. The treatment he got was preferential.
Mostly I wanted to hear about his lizard skin jacket.
Sorry. He does nothing but whine like a baby about the consequences of his extremely dishonest actions.
I skipped around when the boring tale got to be too much.
It’s like reading a 13 yo girl’s diary. “I hate this b****, This CO was mean to me, I screamed at the CO because even though he could see me clearly he didn’t walk to my cell to do checks, The food was awful but since I was connected I got the best available.” On and on. He seeks sympathy when 4 or 6 of his houses are seized. He has no shame.
Cheaply printed, possibly unedited, and written by someone who was clueless.
I’ve worked in corrections. One of my children is a federal prosecutor. It’s every day criminal crap.
This idiot doesn’t know what double indemnity means. He doesn’t even understand what solitary is. He certainly wasn’t in solitary.
Fake religiosity, self pity, stupidity—this book will make you gag.
Paul Manafort grew up in a typical Italian-American family in Connecticut. He got a law degree and became active in politics. Little did he know that his political interests would one day land him in jail and result in the government confiscating all of his assets accumulated over a very successful career as an advisor to political office seekers in the USA and abroad. His association with the Trump campaign made him the target of a highly politicized Department of Justice. This is a horror story wherein the monster is our government and the victim is a citizen. Very readable and should be read by all who live in the land of the free and the home of the brave. It could happen to you.
Excellent book. Well worth reading this book. Here are some juicy facts from the book. Wow, is all I can say about what really happened.
Paul Manafort-Political Prisoner book page 80:
Chris Steele and Glen Simpson of Fusion Gps, who was paid by Hillary Clinton, hired lawyer Natalia Veselnitskya to trick Paul Manafort, Don Jr Trump and Jared into a meeting. Rob Goldstone said his client had information that would incriminate Hillary Clinton and her dealings with Russia. So when Don Jr, Jared and Paul met this client , her lawyer Natalia did NOT discuss Hillary Clinton but said if Trump would endorse a repeal of the Magnitsky act which punished Putin for a number of human rights violations, this would be looked upon favorable and it could lead to relaxation of restrictions relating to American adopting Russian babies. Don Jr, Jared and Paul all left the meeting because it was a waste of time and didnt have anything to do Hillary Clinton’s crimes. This is what Mueller used as evidences of Russian conclusions. It was a dirty tricked paid for by the Clintons!
It is noteworthy, and symptomatic of the hypocrisy of Washington, MSM, and the Democratic Party, that in fact, in April of 2022, the FEC fined both the Clinton campaign and the DNC for illegally not disclosing its millions of dollars of payments to Perkins, Coie to conduct campaign research through Fusion GPS and Christopher Steele. No one in the media or Washington Democratic establishment seemed to care and it was a one-day story, even though it was the exact behavior the media had spent four years attacking Trump on, behavior that Trump did not commit.
No one in the campaign followed up on the meeting, or even discussed it. Trump was never aware it had occurred, and the campaign never opposed the Magnitsky Act. Yet, to this day, this meeting has an outsized place in all of the Democrat-driven fake Russian collusion narratives.
The book seemed minimally edited. Excessive repeating throughout the book of his experiences. Was hoping for more information on his experience and insights to Ukraine. I learned about the Delegate system and found that interesting. Taken at his word it’s scary to think how much harm can come to you if you relinquish all control of your life to another person. I wondered how a person this smart and successful would do that and never saw the signs of Gates’s criminal behavior. I think that’s what the jury also thought. I think he articulated the Trump presidency accurately due to their relationship. I’m happy he received a pardon.
Great informative read , I was shocked at the details! The system is broken, corrupt. Lady Justice is not blind! There are too many partisan judges… You can’t fight the government, they have unlimited resources. The state of our prison system is unacceptable. They can make a case against anyone by abusing the system.
Liked his truthfulness His ordeal should never happen to a us citizen ever again Put yourself in his shoes, would you have survived such an injustice? I think not God Bless him for telling us, the American people what happened.
I balked at reading this because it seemed it would be a long and boring book. To my surprise it rates as the best book I've read so far this year shedding light on the outright corruption in our entire political system, especially the DOJ
funny i am reviewing this in 2024 as the premise of the book is Trump will run in 2024 and win. manafort stood up to the establishment and their ire found him in solitary confinement. no matter your politics scary stuff against our first amendment rights.
