All I'll say is, how could I not rate this intensifying volume 5 stars?! This is freaking awesome!!! I had my heart in my mouth the whole time!! Augh, I want to read more or even pull an all-nighter to finish this fucking series because I don’t think I'll sleep well if I stop now—but it's 9th of May tomorrow and my call time is freaking early!! Augh! Adios!

Ha llegado un punto en el que no puedo parar de leer. Del tomo 2 a este ha habido un cambio de ritmo brutal que ya me tiene enganchada. ¡Menos mal que me pillé todos los tomos de golpe!

Están empezando a descubrirse misterios, a ganar terreno a las sombras y a haber mucha acción. La mejoría se ha notado muchísimo.

The first half of the book is thrills and bloody action after the plan laid out in the previous volume is shot to pieces. The second half is way calmer and more about revelations as to what happened to Ushio in the days before her death. Not enough to get to the bottom of it but sure enough to make me want to pick up next volume.

Nie mniej intensywnie i ciekawie jest w tomiku czwartym. Tym razem większa uwaga zostaje skupiona na Shinpeiu i Ushio, których „relacje” mogą wiele zmienić w trwającej niebezpiecznej walce z „cieniami”. Chłopak będzie jednak zmuszony do dokonania ciężkiego wyboru, gdzie każde z możliwych rozwiązań nie wydaje się być zbyt optymistyczne. Autor ma tutaj również okazję kolejny raz zaprezentować swoje zdolności do kreślenia naprawdę dobrego thrillera psychologicznego z elementami fantastycznymi. Umiejętnie wykorzystuje i łączy on brutalną akcję, sekrety przeszłości, nadprzyrodzone elementy, złożone charaktery bohaterów, całą gamę ludzkich emocji i dobrze napisane dialogi umiejące podtrzymać klimat i posunąć opowieść do przodu. W odpowiednich momentach twórca potrafi ponadto rozładować napięcie, oferując odbiorcy trochę niezłego humoru. Jedyną drobną wadą jest niepotrzebne moim zdaniem (ocena subiektywna) dodawanie tutaj scen, w których żeńskie bohaterki świecą swoją bielizną (kompletnie nic to nie wnosi do samej historii).

The next volume. Yep, I am on a roll. This series is just so addictive and I cannot stop reading it! Since I need to take it easy today I am reading more of it! In this one things are changing and we meet S-Ushio who is not at all like most Shadows. In fact.. she is kind and wants to help Shin and the others. But you can imagine that Hizuru and Nezu are not that into it, and I don't blame them. It was interesting to see more S-Ushio and see how much she is just like Ushio + also get more hints on things. Like how N-Ushio and S-Ushio formed a bond and actually could be called friends?? I mean, most of the time you get murdered, but it seems that S-Ushio has no plans like that. Things get quite scary at times and there are so many new puzzle pieces on the table and I cannot wait to lay them in the right spots. Oh, and that cliffhanger. Yup, I need to read on! Well, OK, after I have done blogging and a bit of exercising. I got some time before dinner and then after dinner again~

Nov 20. 2021: Getting a new member to join the game has made the story even more enjoyable. Shinpei and Ushio have such a cute and tragic dynamic that's immediately engaging. I'm so in. If I didn't have work tomorrow, I'd probably stay up and finish the series right now. I'm loving this.

Jul 20. 2021: Ushioh is one of the best characters in the series. She's got such a fun personality and is just as much a main character as Shinpei. This volume does wonders to set her up as a character.
