Los Eternos me daban exactamente igual hasta que han llegado Chloé Zhao y Kieron Gillen.

Creo que esta serie es de lo mejorcito de la Marvel actual, y este one-shot sobre el abuelo de Thanos revela bastantes cosas sobre el pasado de esta especie al mismo tiempo que va sembrando semillas para Judgment Day. Creo que no tenía tantas ganas de un evento desde Hox/PoX.

Gillen es uno de los mejores guionistas del mundillo por algo, y ojalá se quede bastante tiempo en este universo antes de volver a Image, que sus Immortal X-Men tienen pintaza también.

Not sure if this will be included in the vol 2 of Eternals but it feels right in. Never read about this particular character who is both Thanos’s grand uncle and grand father? He appears a lot like Darkseid. I’m starting to get a feel for the eternals with this series. They are like roaming T-100s. Pre-programmed without an understanding of why.

Me gusta que abracen el chiste de tener un abuelete genocida para THANOS hasta las últimas consecuencias. Un número de pura exposición y descubrimiento del mecanismo argumental que supone el ultimatum de la gran amenaza que supone el retorno del Titán Loco (y como Eternal Prime, para más inri). Pero funciona a nivel de número trámite spin-off complementario mejor que los dos anteriores.

The presentation style or story in general, or both, had me getting bored. Two might be harsh, but this could have been less a new history of the Eternals and just a new story in the story that already exists. Jack Kirby’s original was definitely lacking in development, but the worlds built on that original creation by Gaiman and others is great. This felt like a lower budget sequel instead.
