Latoya Nicole is an Urban Fiction author. She is currently published and signed to Mz. Lady P presents. She has always had the gift of writing and loved to do so. But she had to put her dream on hold in order to care for her autistic child. Now the 35 year old mother of 1, is ready for the world to share with her as she spins tales of romance, drama, lies and deceit. Born and raised on the mean streets of Chicago, she has witnessed first hand how cold the streets can be. Step into the lives of her characters as they walk you through life as they know it in the windy city.
Aspen has been down on her luck since she found out her boyfriend was using her and being black balled after stealing from her last client. When she gets a call from a potiental client she feels this may be the first step to getting her life back on track. Aspen didnt plan to be attracted to her client and she certainly didnt think she had anything to offer a billionaire. Elijah Coal was not into Christmas but to appease his daughter who was now living with him he hired an interior decorator to decorate his home for the holidays. One look at Aspen and he could see she was down on her luck and he felt this need to want to help her and find out her story. Once she was in his home he didn't want to see her leave, he especially didn't want her to be alone on Christmas.
I have been reading a couple of Latoya Nicole's books and sis is going to write a funny story. I was laughing so hard my husband was looking at me like I was crazy. Poor Aspen, my heart broke for her. She was so loyal and supportive of her ex she just wanted the same in return. I was truly rooting for Aspen she deserved all Elijah had to give. I admired how sis was down bad but wouldn't compromise herself. She was just out here trying to make it on her own. The instant connection between Aspen and Elyah warmed my heart. Elijah was ruthless out here in these streets. For all the joking between Aspen and Elijah they were able to get serious when necessary.
Things did get emotional but this was also a funny Christmas romance that I couldn't put down.
The story was pretty good with a nice premise. The billionaire part was acceptable as it was not the usual story. A few editing issues were present, but they did not hinder the story.
I found a new author . She is definitely the MJ of Xmas novellas . This one had me in my feels . Aspen had me tearing up my sis was down bad . Coal was a good MMC . This book was hilarious . I was ish I could give this 10 stars
So clearly who ever gets my reviews is a hater cause they stay saying I don't follow policy, but I'm gonna keep reviewing these books anyway😜. At least the authors can see my reviews on Goodreads😏. Bay-be Queen Latoya Nicole be giving us some great hood love stories💕. I would have beat tf out of Greg's bih a** too. I had a feeling that nigga was selling her a pipe dream and tricking off on the next bih cause that sh*t wasn't adding up. But dayyyuuummm, I wasn't expecting what her Bestie stumbled on by accident😢. I'm all for supporting your man's dream but not supporting him financially while I struggle to make ends meet, no ma'am, no ham, no turkey, but that's me. But as always karma was coming🙌🏾 26% in and I was all in my feelings, I was in tears got my soul crying behind that song cause although I'm not in Aspen position per se, but I've been going through, so I can definitely relate and that was one of my dad's favorite songs(God rest his soul) my soul needed this cry and I really needed this song. Then 70% in I was doing the ugly cry cause I felt that talk she had with her dad😢. Aspen story was so relatable. Coal thought he was the ghosting king until he ran across Aspen, she had that man all in his feelings😂. Although his daughter lied to him about why she had to live with him, I'm glad she did what she needed in order to remove herself from her moms toxic living situation. Coal needed Aspen just as much as she needed him. This book kept me laughing and crying, but that ending pissed me off, that's why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5🤷🏽. I would still recommend it as a must read😘
Aspen was down on her luck thanks to her ride or die mentality to stay by her man. She was even robbing her interior design clients, the ones she was able to get, just to help him out. In the end, it turned out that he was playing her and she lost her family home in the process. A year later she is homeless and still trying to get her business off the ground, but since she was caught stealing from one of her clients, she was blackballed. Then she meets Coal, a billionaire, who just got his daughter back and needs help decorating his house. Coal may be a legitimate billionaire now but he is a still Grim in these streets.
When they meet, he doesn’t except anything to happen but he is drawn to Aspen, besides just the physical even though she is looking rough. I gave this book three stars, I enjoyed how hard Aspen worked and tried to keep her spirits even though she was suffering. She was a true survivor. Coal and daughter needed her and they didn’t even know it. The storyline was steady, yet slow in some places and would have wanted a little more steam in the sex scenes but Coal was hilarious especially when he gave her that placebo Plan B lol. Overall, it was a good quick read that brought a Happily Ever After. 🤗
This book had me cracking up. I laughed so much. Latoya Nicole is definitely the MJ of Christmas books. This book follows Aspen and Coal, who are both dealing with issues. Aspen is homeless after putting her all into a man that wasn't her man. She is trying to get jobs decorating, but sis is blackballed due to her stealing from previous clients. She gets the call from COAL AKA Grim to decorate his home and daughters room. These two have instant chemistry. The banter in this book had me in shambles. These two were so funny. Even with the hard times Aspen was dealing with, she found moments to laugh.
Coal had a terrible relationship with his daughter due to her mother. There were several times in the book where I wanted to tell Elayah she was doing too much. I'm so glad that their relationship got better in the end. Aspen encouraging Elayah to talk to her dad was needed. Coal fell for Aspen and didn't want to admit it, but he did everything he could to keep that woman, and it worked. Pick this book up. You will not be disappointed.
Aspen should've known Greg wasn't worth a damn. She tarnished her business reputation and her self respect trying to help a dude who was really using her and cost her to lose everything including herself. Coal wasn't really living. He was just making money and existing until his smart mouth, attitude having 15 year old daughter Elyah came to live with him. Elyah attitude came from a place of hurt. Aspen recognize the young girl pain but it took Coal a minute and when he found out the truth from Elyah. He knew he had to step up. Hiring Aspen for a job made Coal realized he was smitten with her as well. Aspen tried her best to hide her struggles but in the end the truth came out and her Christmas wish was granted.
Aspen is a fool for love. Greg is a dreamer, Aspen is like I don't want to walk out on you and somebody else reap the benefits. She should have did just that. That man had you stealing and putting a second mortgage on your own home. Now Aspen is homeless. I would have broke his jaw with that bat. Brandy is so stupid, you're supposed to to protect your child. Greg got what he deserved. Elyah just wanted to be loved by both her parents. It took Aspen to come into her life to show her love. She did have a smart at mouth. This is the first thing I'm hearing a man trying to trap a woman. Aspen has that good good. Coal a boss by day and killer by night. Aspen, Elyah, and Coal became a family.
This is a short story. I don’t know why I do this to myself, but I just kept reading knowing that I didn’t vibe with the story. Latoya Nicole is a good author. Nothing wrong with it, it just didn’t keep my attention.
The FMC is dumb. Like really dumb. You get a 2nd mortgage on your house for a man to flip the money on drugs???! Like you’re fronting money to a bum with no job? I can’t. Then, she gets a job but being that she’s homeless shows up smelling like a bag of fritos sitting in the sun all day. She was already at her friend’s house where she could’ve washed up. I just don’t know. This book urked my soul more than anything. The only good thing in it was that Coal got to reconcile with his daughter.
Such a cute and funny story. Karma is kicking Aspen’s ass. Her latest client has blackballed her after catching Aspen stealing and her boyfriend spent the bend on her, leaving Aspen alone, broke, and homeless. Coal hires Aspen to decorate his house for Christmas and be a lowkey buffer between him and his teen daughter Elyah. All three need one another and it turns out to be a Christmas bone of them will ever forget.
I loved the funny parts and the evolution of the individual relationships between the characters (Aspen and Coal, Elyah and Aspen, and Coal and Elyah) the story felt a little rushed but it didn’t take away from the experience ❤️ would definitely recommend!
This was good, to the point and how it is. As much as I liked the book, I can't read any more of these books. I hate how they speak. I didn't get angry at him killing people, but I got angry at the misuse of the English language. Where did she go to school to get her interior design degree? Where did he get his formal training in computers? Is that the way they talk to business people? At least he didn't send someone else to kill people for him. My daughter talked me into this book. She said it was funny, she didn't lie. I laughed all through this book. Even the ending was funny.😂
Man, I was laughing my butt off. Aspen tried to be that ride or die chick and lost everything, only to find out that Greg was playing her all along. Unfortunately for Greg, he messed over the wrong person, which caused him his life. Aspen ended up in a shelter and was blackballed as an interior designer when she stole from one of her clients. Elijah, a multimillionaire hired her for a job and ended up trapping her by getting her pregnant. Great fairy tale ending. This story was well written, flowed well and very funny.
Can this author be serious just for once lol. I love the way she makes me laugh then cry. This book did just that and I LOVED EVERY TEAR. Aspen bad days turned to best days. Even tho she had nothing but her talent and the heart of gold was wall she needed. Coal had his dark moments but Aspen turned those into brighter days. Elyah was a hand full but all she wanted was love and she got that and a lil more. With Aspen help all is living their best life. Great Job
Christmas with a Billionaire by LaToya Nicole is an amazing and adorable story. It’s entertaining, funny and heartbreaking. Latoya did a good job. She has a crazy and hilarious characters for this book.
I am not fan of Greg because he’s a con-artist and clown. Coal is my new book bae. Coal is a good and lovely man for Aspen.
Hopefully, I want to read more about Coal and Aspen.

Awww…. So cute and refreshing!!!! This is a much needed read.
This was very good, wonderful even. A much needed feel good reading to get your mind out and about. Aspen had gotten on my nerves a little bit, but ended up redeeming herself while Coal was just all of that. Elyah is a spoiled disrespectful brat. For a kid, she gonna stay a kid and not this adult-like that she is trying to be.
It’s been a while since I opened up a book and read it, but baby this book here was good aspen was a strong woman I can’t even imagine going through what she went through… and all baby girl wanted to do was be loved by one of her parents great book happy thanksgiving & merry Christmas
This book was so good I was laughing from beginning to end. I hate how Aspen got played by Greg but he got his karma in the end. I'm glad Aspen and Elyah met because she got her to open up and get her relationship with her dad back. Elijah and Aspen are made for one another.
At first I didn’t like Aspen, but I guess what happened with Greg changed her.. I really ended up loving her!! The storyline was perfect I like how it included the troublesome relationship between Elyah and Coal. This book was soooo good, Toya didn’t disappoint at all!
Omg i love me some Coal(grim). I really thought Aspen was going to mess it up trying to leave. I cant believe Gregg did her like that she really should have not looked out for her man she believed that whole heartedly. Eyliah needed control she was a hot mess at first glad she came around.. i am glad Aspen finally caught a break i felt so sorry for her...
This was a great read. I didn't know how it was going to turn out. Hell I thought her friend was sleeping with the daddy she kept talking about he not that bad ain't nothing wrong with it. I'm glad coal took a chance on her but to trap her nigga ain't shit. The storyline glowed really well
This was a really cute Christmas read. It was hilarious 😂 😂 with the right amount of 🌶🔥. I am so glad Coal was able to mend his relationship with his daughter. I loved the way Coal took Aspen in and showed her love. Grab it! You won’t be disappointed⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Love has no time restrictions or limits! Coal needed Aspen just as much as she needed him. I absolutely love Aspen’s bond with Elyah. This story warmed my heart ♥️ Christmas is the magical time of year where anything it possible. The icing on the cake was Greg stank-ass being dealt with. Fantastic read!!!
Man listen this book was EVERYTHING!!! This author most definitely understood the assignment!! Page one had me hooked! Every turn of the page pulled me in deeper and deeper! This book had me lmao and I loved it!! This was my first read my this author and I am most definitely a FAN!!
Latoya, I just love the way your mind flows when penning these stories! It be savage, gentleman, love wrapped up in comedy for me! Aspen deserve everything and more! Her relationship with Elyah was made out of love and understanding, it took for someone to talk to her for the disrespect to melt away.
I loved it this book was everything from the beginning to the end. I was so happy that Coal and Aspen got together though. She went through a lot though and I’m glad that he was able to save her. Aspen was a great help to Coal daughter though and that really warmed my heart knowing that she cared about his daughter knowing all that she went through in own life.
I don't know why but this book had me in tears. Tears of joy, funny tears, and sympathy tears. Aspen went through the fire but God only gives you so much you can handle and teaches you a lesson in between. Aspen found what she needed and what she deserved this holiday...Love. Bravo!
Truly enjoyed reading 📚 this book. Author did a great job of developing the characters and plot; storyline didn't dragg on forever. I recommend reading 📚. Aspen put her heart ❤ in the wrong man for her heart to be broken, but Elijah slowly moved into her heart. Aspen was able to help him bond with his daughter.
Well I'm a little old school, but do love a good rags to riches love story. There is like a TON of cussing, which is why I almost gave up reading. However, the storyline was so good I couldn't stop reading. Not going to give up the details, but you need to read this one. Drama, laughs and love! ❤️
