For out-of-work journalist Terry Barnes, opportunity is hard to come by. But when news of an armed protest set to clash with the National Guard comes his way, he sees a chance to get the scoop on one hell of a story. But there’s a catch: everything is set to go off just as a massive hurricane makes landfall along the Florida coast. Further complicating things, Terry’s teenage daughter, Amy, didn’t catch a ride out of town like she was supposed to, and now Terry’s attention is torn between his daughter’s safety and a story that could be his ticket back into business.
