The absolute comprehensive book of "how to" for nursing care - everything from washing a patient to intravenous infusions to catheterisation. A must have for nurses right from students to advanced practitioners.

Each chapter is thoughtfully laid out and easy to digest. For procedures such as catheter care, there are step by step instructions - obviously nothing can beat seeing and doing in practice but this book is the next best thing.

Wish they did neonatal version and other specialities. Everything in one place and clearly explained with evidence backing.

I took the computer-based test for Adult Nursing for NMC last year, and this textbook has been the backbone of my entire review process. It served me well when answering the crucial questions. I agree when they say that this is the bible of the nursing practice. So for anyone planning to take the exam, read this thick manual from cover to cover and you're good to go.
