I really enjoyed this enemies to loves romantic comedy.

Lydia writes an advice column for an online magazine. Her boss wants her to take on a new role. Track Lydia will follow her through a fitness program for beginners.

Broderick is the guy who seems to have more women than any man Lydia has ever known. He plays loud music and distracts her from her work.

Two neighbours, two advice columns and two goals. Can Lydia and Broderick learn to get along and can it lead to more?

I found Guy Problems amusing, fun and heated. I’m a fan of this author and really enjoyed this book.

A unique premise for a wonderful romance. Lydia writes an advice column for an online magazine. When one of her coworkers breaks her leg, Lydia is convinced to take her place in an upcoming triathlon even though she doesn't exercise. When Broderick, the neighbor she seriously dislikes, becomes her solution for training for the triathlon, the story takes off.
My only complaint about this story is that I wish it was longer. The secondary characters in the story are all great and I would have loved to read more about them and their relationships with Lydia and Broderick. However, this is a complete short story. Beginning, middle and end with lots of fun and drama. I enjoyed it very much. I received a free copy of this book. The honest opinions in this review are my own.

This was a good read. Lydia's boss makes her do a triathlon. However, she is someone that doesn't exercise. Now she needs Broderick's help. The problem is that she doesn't like him. Luckily she soon finds out she was wrong about him. This leads them to a happy ending.

In love with this book

Wow, this has been a fabulous read I totally loved the POV chapters. The evil villain. and the HEA(happily ever after). and the advice column "Ask Lydia"
I received a copy of My Guy Problem by R.L. Kenderson as an advance copy for an honest review and I have to say I could not put it down!

Dear Lydia,
I need help with my neighbor. You and me both, I thought. Except, as I read the rest of the email, I realized the two of us had very different problems. She doesn’t like me, but I can’t stop thinking about having sex with her. She’s actually said some bad things behind my back, which should make me like her less. But half of me wants to fuck her, and the other half wants to choke her. Or choke her while I fuck her. How do I put her out of my mind?
How do I put her out of my mind? Sincerely,
Guy Problem
P.S. Even though I’m sure she would never admit it, I think she wants me too. Her nipples are constantly begging me to suck them

Dear Guy Problems,
I am sorry to hear you are struggling and that your neighbor has spoken badly about you. I suggest that if she is the type of person who is reasonable, you should try to have a talk with her about the things you have heard. It will be hard, but try to maintain a calm tone and try not to raise your voice. But do make sure she knows that you will not tolerate being spoken about behind your back. Hope‐ fully, once you two can sit down and clear the air, things will get better between you and your neighbor.
Best of luck.

Light and fun entertainment

My Guy Problem is the fifth book in the A Love Like That series and is the story of Lydia and Broderick. They are neighbors but not friends. Broderick has women coming and going from his place at all hours and when they leave they are looking like they were "rode hard and put away wet", so of course Lydia thinks he is self-centered sex-addict, man-whore. But she learns that her assumption was a mighty tall leap as in fact he is a personal trainer. For Broderick's side he is attracted to his sexy neighbor but she is cold and not neighborly in the least. He cannot figure out why as he has never done anything to her or anyone else in the building. So what does a man do when a woman hates her....try to hate her right back even if you secretly can't. When Lydia is basically ordered to participate in a triathlon for work it is Broderick who comes to her rescue. You see Lydia hates to work out and as a columnist for an online magazine she can sit all day with the best of them.
This is a fun and entertaining story. The is no real "enemies" or drama in this story and instead it is light, fluffy and deliciously sweet.

I received a copy of this book and am leaving my honest review. My opinions are all my own.

What a fun book to read! With fantastic characters, fun banter, an interesting storyline, and plenty of spice, this book was just what I needed this weekend!

Lydia and Broderick are hilarious together!! Initially they can’t stand each other. She feels he’s a serial cheater and he feels she’s rude and judgmental. They start spending time together as he helps train her for a triathlon that she’s supposed to write about for her job. The more they come to know each other though they more they realize they were wrong.

There is so much to love about this romance! I am a reader who loves fun banter and the banter in this romance does not disappoint. These characters are funny with a good sense of humor and the ability to laugh at each other and themselves. There’s are also some seriously hot and spicy scenes! Broderick is really quite the dirty talker and I enjoyed every moment of it! The ending of their story took a twist that I didn’t expect but very much enjoyed which led to a really fantastic HEA.

Lydia is a columnist in an online magazine who cannot stand her neighbor for so many reasons but the main one being she believes he's cheating on his sweet girlfriend with several other women every day!

When one of Lydia's coworkers cannot race in a triathlon Lydia is convinced (and then told she will) train and race in her place. Lydia's issue.... she hates to workout, running is not an enjoyment and she doesn't want to spend her bonus money on a trainer....thats where the neighbor comes in.

Everyone makes mistakes right? We can all have judgmental moments and realize we were wrong, Lydia was so wrong about the neighbor!

Super sweet and steamy enemies to lovers romance. Great read, great characters and a great story line.

I received and ARC copy of this book. I am voluntarily reviewing and these are my opnions.

Lydia is so much more than a columnist and the neighbor...not such a bad guy after all!

This is a fun story! These two neighbors didn’t get off to a good start when Lydia took offense to Broderick telling her that the duo she brought to the building’s Super Bowl party needed work. He is a personal trainer out of his apartment and she thinks he’s cheating on his girlfriend with all his other female clients.

So she’s a little judgy and thinks he has plenty of stamina. He’s a little snarky and enjoys getting under her skin and getting a reaction out of her.

Once they call a truce and start spending time together - him training her for a triathlon her boss insists she doe for the online magazine she writes for - sparks between them ignite into some very steamy scenes.

I loved the ending and how Lydia makes her point to the villain of the story. This is a fun rom-com and though it is part of a series can be read as a standalone.

I received an ARC from The author and I am voluntarily leaving a review.

I was fortunate enough to read an ARC of My Guy Problem by R.L. Kenderson. I give this book 4 stars instead of 5 because whilst enjoyable, I devoured it immediately, I felt that something was missing. It was like eating cotton candy. It is incredibly delicious and you love it but it doesn't fill you up. Perhaps what was missing is just that I wanted there to be more to their story. Maybe a bit more conflict. The story follows Lydia, an everyday woman who writes an advice column for an online magazine. Her boss forces her into an assignment that she really does not want which leads to her working with her neighbor whom she finds attractive but completely despises. Hate turns to lust which eventually leads to love. I do recommend this book as it was a delight and very saucy. I hope that future books in this series revisit these characters so I can get that second helping to my literary meal.

3.5 Stars.
Lydia is pretty open about her mega hot next door neighbor Broderick. She thinks he's a loud, jobless, trust-fund baby playboy, but it turns out she's been misinterpreting everything and he's actually a personal trainer. Meanwhile, Broderick is super attracted to her, and doesn't understand what crawled up her ass to make her so pissed at him all the time. Lydia learns the truth not a moment too soon, as her job has roped her into doing a triathlon in a couple months, and she needs Broderick's help to train her sedentary ass into shape.

It was a fun, light, sweet story with some sexy scenes. Little cheesier than I normally go for at moments, and there was one scene that I found perplexing There wasn't a lot of drama, which I liked, but even the important scenes felt anticlimactic. But yeah, a nice time.

This book was cute and extremely easy to read. With no heavy drama, it was like an emotional diet - emo lite.

Lydia, main female character, seemed somewhat shallow even though she was an online magazine advise columnist. In my mind, this was why I had difficulty forming any connection to her. Broderick, main male persona, was more appealing and relatable, really better developed (pun intended since he was a personal trainer). Their interactions, all based on assumption and not communication, are definitely entertaining!

I wish I could give half star ratings because this book was better than a three, but not quite a four. That said, I wouldn't hesitate to pick up another book from this author if I was in search of a light read.

I received an advance copy of this very cute book. The review is my own.

I received a copy of My Guy Problem by R.L. Kenderson as an advance copy for an honest review and I have to say I could not put it down!
Lydia and Broderick are neighbors as well as enemies or to Lydia: Broderick is THE mortal enemy! That is until she needs assistance on a work assignment that requires his expertise to help her prepare for one of her advice columns that she has no choice but to have Broderick help her. During their time together they discover that being neighbors isn’t the only thing that they have in common and through witty and steamy exchanges their relationship develops into something much more than neighborly. My Guy Problem is a great afternoon read that you do not want to miss! Five stars all the way…

I've read several of RL Kenderson's books and have enjoyed each one. In this one, you've got Lydia who is against relationships for no obvious reason and has a thing for her neighbor... and not in a good way. Is it all based on misperceptions and poor timing? Broderick doesn't understand why his neighbor dislikes him so much. Things take a twist when Lydia is roped into competing in a triatholon for the online magazine where she works. When one of Broderick's clients lets Lydia in on what he does for a living she ends up having him as her trainer. Plenty of sparks fly for these two with some quirky and awkward scenes to add to the amusement. This is a quick and easy read with some twists as well. Looking forward to reading more by this author.

Lydia writes an advice column for an online magazine but when one of her co-workers is injured she is tasked with not writing about preparing for a triathlon but completing it as well. Now she finds herself in a bind as thanks to a misunderstanding the one person who can help her is also the one man who irritates her unlike any other.

Broderick doesn’t know what he did to irritate his neighbor but he gives as good as he gets. When Lydia needs his help he can’t say no and that’s when the sparks of antagonism turn into sparks of a different kind.

Humor, heat, and all the feels as not only do Lydia and Broderick have to overcome their pasts but deal with challenges in the present as well.

Yes! Give me this kind of problem. The sexual tension was palpable. I could feel it from the 1st chapter.

Lydia and Broderick gave me all the feels that I needed. Never knew I wanted, but definitely needed. Yes! Yes! Yes!

I love a good love/hate relationship. This one may have started out like a ride you never want to get on...but once you get on you don't want to get off. Lydia hopped on and just didn't get off...Broderick. I mean who doesn't like a sexy personal trainer who is your neighbor with abs to die for? Or a know-it-all writer who has an assignment that requires the help of said neighbor?

I feel like this was a love story written specifically for all of the hopeless romantics who have a thing for their sexy neighbor... Maybe it was written just for me😉

Lydia and Broderick’s story is just as fun as the others in this series! This enemies to lover romance is definitely one to check out! The reasons these neighbors hate each other are hilarious, and the way they handle the misunderstanding is cute. I like reading from both character’s POV because you get to see how a situation is interpreted by both sides of the relationship. Plus, you get more of Broderick’s muscles mind that way! This is a book in part of a series, but can still be read as a standalone. HEA, no cheating, no cliffhanger, and did I mention muscles? 💪🏻🏋️💻✍️🏊‍♀️🚴🏃‍♀️♥️ I voluntarily reviewed this after receiving a free copy.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC and this book. This is the 5th book in the A Love Like That series. Each book can be read as a standalone. This book is an enemies to lovers romance with a HEA ending.
Lydia and Broderick have been neighbors for a while. Lydia works from home and sees all the woman coming and going from his apartment. He's nothing but a womanizing scumbag cheating on his girlfriend.
Broderick doesn't understand what he did to offend Lydia. Well yes he did tell her that her dip was lacking but that's no reason for the hate she spews at him daily.
I enjoyed this book so much I devoured it in one day.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS AREN’T ALWAYS CORRECT

I received this book for free and am giving my honest and voluntary review.

Lydia lives next door to Broderick. She misinterprets him because of something he said at a party about a dip she made.

The hate relationship they have makes for tension between the two, although it’s not hate on Broderick’s part. I love the way the two go through situations that arise because of Lydia’s boss, her niece and nephew, and Broderick’s friends.

Love wins out and relationship advice comes when needed. The authors wrote a story to keep the readers rooting for a working relationship between Lydia and Broderick and happy that they get a HEA.

This is a cute enemy to lover’s romance. Lydia does not like her neighbor because she believes he is a lying, cheating man-whore who has a revolving door of woman and does not work. However, Lydia may be surprised to find out that Broderick is not at all who she believes he is. Broderick is attracted to his sexy neighbor but cannot understand why she is rude to his clients or why she seems to hate him. When Lydia's boss is asked to take over a sports section of the paper, she writes for she finds herself asking her neighbor for help. Broderick is all too eager to help his neighbor since he can't see to take her off his mind. This is a cute, sweet, fun and sexy story.

My review is for RL Kenderson's short story: My Guy Problem. An enemy to lovers story, the sexiness and the laughs are off the chart. Lydia is an online advice columnist who is coerced into training for a triathlon. To her embarrassment and surprise, the neighbour she suspected was a man**ore, is actually a personal trainer. Will her courage allow her to do something completely out of her comfort zone? Will the charms of the written word help to convince her to take another look? Will a second chance allow her to look anew at the reason behind her animosity?

Another great book in the Love Like That series! Lydia writes for an online magazine. Broderick is her neighbor who she doesn’t like. She see different women coming from his apartment all the time. And believes he is cheating on his girlfriend Rose who she has talked to on occasion. When she sees Rose at the coffee shop and tells her about the article she has to write on doing a triathlon Rose suggests Broderick the one person she doesn’t like to help her. This was a funny light hearted quick read.

I am voluntarily leaving a review after receiving a free copy. Lydia had the wrong impression about her neighbor, Broderick, but eventually learns the truth. They get to know each other better when Broderick helps a reluctant Lydia train to a triathlon. I liked how Broderick reached out to Lydia through her 'Ask Lydia' column when he wanted to get to know her better. When things out of their control almost wreck their relationship. I liked how Lydia used her column to reach out to Broderick. Their relationship had grown strong enough to overcome the problems that had been caused.

This is an enemies to lovers romance. Lydia and Broderick are neighbors who can't stand each other, she thinks he's a man whore who plays his music too loud and he think she's too uptight. When Broderick offers to train Lydia for a triathlon for work the sexual tension begins to build into undeniable chemistry. I loved their witty banter, and Broderick with the kids was adorable! Seeing Travis and Sydney again was a nice surprise, My Cover Model is my favorite R.L. Kenderson book.

Lydia works for an online magazine writing advice columns. Her boss assigned her to do a triathalon and write a weekly colum describing her training. Lydia's idea of exercising is walking down the street to her local coffee shop. Lydia's neighbor, Broderick, apartment door is more like a revolving door where differents girls are constatntly seen. She does not get along with her neighbor. Broderick is in a position to help Lydia with her new project at work. Will the two neighbors learn to get along and possibly have a serious relationship.

She needs to complete a triathlon for work, he makes a living being a physical trainer. They are neighbors who do not get along. Will he be able to help her? Will she let her walls down to let him close?

Have to say I loved seeing these two come together. I loved how in the end she wasn't willing to give up who she was and what she thought was right for her job. I loved seeing learning that he was determined to overcome the past problems and make it either way. This was a definitely a great read!

This was my favourite book in the series. My Cover Model would have been had it been shorter. This was the perfect length. Other reviews said it was too short or a novella and I'm wondering if the author added to it because it's FAR from being a novella. I was about to give up on this author because it seemed she just put too many unnecessary words into her books to make them longer but now I may track down some more books.
The only thing I'd change us knowing what happened between the two magazine owners. And maybe an epilogue of all the friends from other books.

This was a good read. Lydia wrote an advice column and her neighbor was a personal trainer - though she didn't know that at first. She thought he had alot of women over cheating on his girlfriend. When her boss made her do a triathalong, she hired him to train her. The started out as annoyances to each other, but then became friends and then more. It had romance, an annoying boss and then love. I got this book from HiddenGems and gave an honest and voluntary review.

OMG, I cannot express how much I loved this story! I've never actually laughed at one of these. But this had me straight cackling at times. And towards the end, when the you know what hit the fan... my jaw dropped and I sat there catching flies for a bit before I could continue. I read this in a single day, I simply couldn't put it down.

What an adorable story! The main characters were both likeable and relatable. I enjoyed watching the relationship grow and seeing the varied interactions between them as they worked out together for her goal. The ending was perfect and how things went with the boss made me smile. Definitely got her point across! Overall, fun story!

I thought this was such a fun story to read! Lydia saw Broderick every day and she did not like him. When something comes up with Lydia’s pushy boss and she has to accept Broderick’s help, they have to spend time together daily. I enjoyed their conversations and their story as they started to fall for each other. This was a light hearted book that I recommend if you are looking for a feel good story.
