She’s bold. He’s sweet. Just add love and stir.

Pauline loves entertaining thousands—especially the kids—with stunts and an open heart at game time and in community service as the only female mascot actor in men’s major league hockey. After the Toronto Peregrines seize victory and the national cup, Pauline prepares for the best time of her thirty-year career. So when she’s called home to train the new employee at her mother’s tea shop while her mother recovers from surgery, cabin fever sets in faster than a slapshot.

Todd can boil water…but that’s it. After the curtain crashed down on his international ballet career, working at Claire’s Tea Shop was his first opportunity at a new—and private—life. He’s in the right place: even if Todd can’t tell a Darjeeling from a Ceylon, Pauline can’t tell a pirouette from a Baryshnikov. He has to succeed at this, or another failure will be on display for the world to see.

But from the moment Pauline jumps onto the counter to save Todd from a horde of tea connoisseurs, steam rises between them, and Pauline and Todd find a special blend of love steeping into their hearts.

Tea Shop for Two is the first book in Lori Wolf-Heffner’s sweet romance series, Love on Belmont.

Paulline is the mascot for the Toronto Peregrines but she had to sign a non-disclosure agreement so her family does not even know what she actually does. Her mom own's Clair's Tea Shop and when she got hurt Pauling had to help out Todd, the new hire.
I found it interesting learning about Todd and also learning about what Pauline had to do as the team mascot performer. It was also interesting learning about all of the different teas at the shop. This book also addressed bullying and ballet. I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review.

A sweet and simple romance. I don’t like reading romances generally and this one was no exception. I read it for my book club.
That being said I felt the author focused too much on the teas and less on the depth of the characters. She over simplified emotions that could have been focused on and some situations were too convenient and just happened. For all the books I read the one thing I take away is that life is complicated and so are relationships. I feel if she had elaborated in depth on those and not kept things so fluffy it would have made a more engrossing read.
I do give my compliments and regards to the author for the book. It is never easy to put your work out there and read anything but stellar feedback.

Overall, while this is a love story between Pauline and Todd, it is also about the power of love and family and community. It treats sensitive subjects like being boys and ballet and being bullied in school in a really unique and caring way that made me feel like these issues could be eliminated totally from society as being not good.
I really enjoyed the flowing way it was written and loved every bit of the tale between Pauline and Todd. Add in the other characters and you have a family!!

A good tale and I look forward to more from this author!

I received a free copy of this and am leaving this review with absolutely no reservations whatsoever!

I really enjoyed this book. Pauline is a strong, confident woman. Unfortunately only while in costume. Todd is a good foil to her character. They seem so different. This story explores their emotions so well you feel like you are right there.

What a sweet story. I enjoyed the story line and setting in the tea shop. At first I wasn’t sure about how different Pauline and Todd were chemistry wise but it really worked in this story. The book is well written and love comes alive off the pages. I highly recommend this book.

A story based on tea and feelings. Pauline has a job that she loves, but can't tell anyone about, including her family. Todd is looking for a low key job so he can hide from society in embarrassment. when Pauline's mom has surgery an can't run the tea shop, Pauline comes home to teach the new hire the ropes. This story is about love, lies and learning from mistakes. I would recommend it to readers who enjoy love stories. I received an advance copy of this book and this is my honest review.
