Exploring Bristow Farms of yesteryear Tommy makes some startling discoveries that ultimately lead him to believe the reason for the portal is to save his five-year-old Great Aunt Molly; until Old Grandma tells him to Save Them All.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading the much anticipated second book in this three part series, A Hope for Hawthorne! A resident of Hawthorne myself, I was entranced by the imagined Hawthorne of yesteryear. The book instills hope, and reminds us to be courageous in the face of adversity. These lessons are as applicable today, as ever. Wiggins is truly masterful at weaving historical fiction with actual events! A must read for anyone who hopes to effect change or calls themselves a true Hawthornian.

The most fantastic fiction to come out of Florida since The Yearling! A Hope for Hawthorne picks up right where A Happening in Hawthorne leaves off and doesn’t slow down all the way back to 1928!
