I had the privilege of meeting Ana Michelle at a book fair event in Milwaukee. She won me over with a story about witches and the fact she had a crochet hook in hand. I knew I had found my people.
Garnet Fire is a good debut novel. The characters, for the most part, are developed and interesting. There were a few places in which the characters actions didn't make sense based on what we had learned about them, but nothing that jumps the shark. Overall, the story is good and I'm excited to read book 2!
