Funny & the naughtiest book in the series😈 “Rabbit banshee screams” was hilarious plus “Evil little bunny” 🐰🐇🦊🦊 Book/story too short in regards of The Council’s plot.

This is book nine of The Shifter Speed Dating series and the main characters are Dusty, an arctic fox shifter and Chloe, an arctic hare. His friends Felix and Luna want him to come to an event they are having at his exclusive shifter ski resort, but he sees it as pointless because of his curse. A hundred years ago, a witch walked up to him and spoke some strange words and ever since, anytime he touches a woman or is touched by one, even accidently, he shifts into a cinnamon sugar dusted apple cider doughnut. He is stuck in that shape for around twenty five minutes and there is nothing he can do. He hasn’t been able to change into his animal state since the witch cursed him. He has no idea why she chose to do this to him and has just found out that Felix knows of someone else that has been cursed in the same manner by a witch! He will never be able to find his Tsigo, his fated mate, whilst this curse is upon him, or so he thinks. In the Agenwi population, female shifters are already rare, making up only about ten percent of the population, so the chances of finding a fated mate are even slimmer.
When one of his staff seems to be having issues dealing with a woman at the front desk, he interrupts to see if he can help. Luna pretends she knows the woman, Chloe, and that she is her guest. She deliberately trips up and pushes Chloe into Dusty, not knowing about his curse, but this time he doesn’t shift! Next moment, she has disappeared and he knows nothing about who she is and where she went. Why she was so desperate to get into his resort is unclear as well. Dusty tries to find her and even wants to ask his friend Felix, who has military links, to see what he can find, when she is spotted in the resort again. This time he corners her and manages to convince her that she is his fated mate, but she has a huge secret to hide. This secret has her linked closely to a criminal organisation and not voluntarily! She causes a lot of damage for a large number of other shifters and when Dusty finds her, it all becomes clear why she did what she did.
His presence has been noted and whilst Felix tries to warn him, he gets distracted and then attacked, unfortunately by a woman and obviously turned into a doughnut again! It’s not the first time in the story and each time just gets funnier and funnier. He hoped to keep his curse secret, but now even his best friend knows, as does his mate, and he has to put up with all the jokes at his expense. At least he knows he is not alone in this curse, but finding his fated mate ends up altering his curse somewhat and leaves him with another issue to avoid! I wish there had been more to the story, maybe seeing what he did about tracking this other cursed man and finding the witch responsible, or even more about the group that pushed Chloe into the actions she did and why they wanted the information they stole. Lots of humour and steamy sex, with fated mates coming together in the weirdest of ways and with a strange affliction at the core of his avoidance of females for a century! I received an ARC copy of this book from BookSprout and I have freely given my own opinion of the book above.

Dusty runs a resort for shifters. They have a place to shift freely and also enjoy playing in the snow. His friend Felix and his mate Luna are holding a speed dating event at the resort and Luna wants him to attend. He refuses because he knows what will happen if a female touches him. He was cursed by a witch years ago. I won’t tell you what happens to him when they touch him, but it also has blocked his fox and he hasn’t been able to shift since he was cursed. He knows he will never be able to accept his Tsigo, or his fated mate, because she won’t be able to touch him.
Chloe is trying to check into the resort to attend the speed dating event, at least that’s what she claims. When they tell her they are fully booked, she starts she doesn’t believe it. They call Dusty because she is making a scene. When she stumbles and Dusty automatically goes to catch her he realizes he didn’t turn into a ?????? He also knows she is his Tsigo. Apparently she realized the same thing because she panic’s and runs out. When she shows up for the speed dating event the next day he corners her and finds out that she is also a shifter. Female shifters are very rare and her parents took advantage of that and sold her to a male shifter. She has been running from him for years and she is finally at her wits end. Dusty promises to help her. But the next morning he wakes up and she is gone. Felix tells him that his hard drive has been stolen with all of the information about shifter/human matings. Now the pairs are being kidnapped by a secret organization that is opposed to the practice and Felix thinks Chloe was the one to steal the hard drive.
Would Choe really betray her mate and if she did why? Dusty is determined to find out, but first he has to find her! A great book and very funny. Get ready to laugh!.

Dusty is a fox shifter and owns a ski shifter resort and he has been cursed by a witch to never feel the touch of his fated mate; and if he is touched by a woman, he transforms into a cinnamon sugar dusted apple cider doughnut. Chloe is a bunny shifter and arrives at Dusty’s ski resort for a friend’s celebration. Dusty and his fox know that Chloe is their fated mate. In fact Dusty seem to think that Chloe is there to destroy him by the witch who has put a curse on him. I so love the camaraderie between Dusty and Chloe. Dusty finds Chloe attractive but he throws her out of his ski resort. The next day Chloe and Dusty met at a Shifter Speed Dating event. There is awesome chemistry between Chloe and Dusty, drama, steamy, fast past, easy quick read, action packed and definitely a page turner.

I love this series. Whenever I want to smile I pick up one of Zoey's Shifter Speed Dating books and read it. Works every time.
Dusty and Chloe have a disastrous start. He kicks her out of his resort. From there it is all fun and games to read.
I love the back and forth between them.
Dusty has a couple of problems. See above and he's cursed.
This was a fun book to soak in and enjoy.
There are still questions I have, but I have been told by the higher power that they will all be answered.
This series is definitely ones I will be reading over and over again.

Short Novella. Cute story about a fox shifter who has been cursed by a witch to turn into a donut whenever a woman touches him. LOL. Awkward. When a mysterious woman shows up at his shifter exclusive resort and tries to con her way inside, Dusty immediately knows she is his mate. The astonishing part is - he doesn't turn into a breakfast treat when she touches him. Holy doughnut holes! Unfortunately, she runs out before he can recover his senses. Turns out she is in a bit of a mess. She is also a bunny shifter. Hmm, fox and rabbit? Can he convince her to mate with him before she finds out he turns into a tasty pastry?

Even though this book is part of the 9 book Shifter Speed Dating series by Zoe Indiana, this reads like a standalone. I've read a few of these books and have enjoyed them a lot. Dusty and Chloe have a pretty horrendous start. He's been cursed by a witch and when he is touched by a female, he unwillingly transforms into something else. So even though he finds Chloe attractive, he throws her out of his resort. The next day, they meet at a speed dating event. These characters are well written, have great chemistry, sizzle, steam, drama, and more. Great series, great read.

Totally Dusted is book 9 in the shifter speed dating series. Dusty runs a resort for shifters and Chloe is trying to get in the resort for the speed dating event or that is what she says. This book made me laugh so hard. Dusty is cursed by a witch, so whenever a female touches him he turns into something other than his true animal. When Chloe is adamant and making a scene to get into the event that is full, Dusty is called in to handle the situation.

I usually try to find something redeeming in books, as I know the author put work into writing, but this book was terrible. I thought it might be funny-bad based on the fact that the guy turns into a literal apple cider doughnut, but it was just straight up bad-bad. The main guy sucks, he has no chemistry with girl, and I think the bad guys should have won.
Also, I'm like 80% sure the five star reviews are bots or fake, they can't have read the same book I did and found such nice things to say about it.

When Chloe first bumps in to Dusty he is so shocked that he hasn't turned into a cinnamon sugar dusted apple cider doughnut that she gets away. Now he is a doughnut on a mission find Chloe and claim her, but there are so obsticals in his way, this is a fun read and I look forward to reading more in this series.

Very unique storyline with vigorous characters exploring their instant connection. There's a few mysterious things happening that will hopefully roll into the next books. This is my first in this series and I was able to follow along but I think the connection from the other books in this series will be helpful to read first. Interesting quick read. A grand slam romantic suspense shifter read! I love the humor and the imperfectly perfect way the author portrays romance and love. This book fits just right into a wonderful series. I love the snarky humor that is a hallmark of Ms. Indiana. Making me laugh is a clear way to get this reader's heart, and a swoon-worthy hunk doesn't hurt either.

Arguing as Foreplay
This short story is a tasty little tidbit of fun and frivolity packaged as a shifter romance. Dusty turns into a doughnut when he touches a woman - awkward - but when he meets his mate Chloe, all bets are off. This story was a whirlwind of a chase, devious plots and mating, with plenty of quirkiness which I loved. Not a tough-provoking read, but perfect for a bit of quick fun.

This is book 9 in the shifter speed dating series. It’s Chloe an arctic hare and Dusty arctic fox story. It’s a quick short steamy read with a combination fated mates Paranormal hot romance. It has a great storyline with characters that have a hot and steamy chemistry. It’s a cute story and I highly recommend this series.

This is my first in this series and I was able to follow along but I think the connection from the other books in this series will be helpful, and is on my list to purchase. Quick read, fun and entertaining! I enjoyed the flow of the storyline, and the characters were interesting and heartfelt; so, all in all, a great read.

Whacky premise, good continuity
A warning for you--his shift is on the book cover! Yes, it is ridiculous. Also, more amusing in conception than actuality. Disappointed... I was expecting Ranma 1/2, but what really happens is kinda confusing and just frustrating.
On the other hand, you get to see familiar characters from the Shifter Speed Dating world, and nods to assorted events.

Totally Dusted is the ninth book in The Shifter Speed Dating series and this is another quirky, funny and totally outrageous PNR romance. The story is about Chloe and Dusty and even thinking about what Dusty shifts into makes me laugh out loud. I am still loving this series and all the humorous and smexy hot stories, and wonderful characters.

A short , very unusual shifter romance . If you like funny stories that are also hot and easy to read in a lunch break or a lazy afternoon then this is right up your street. It can be read as a stand alone but why waste the opportunity to get the whole series and enjoy ,,, be warned it may make you look at food in a totally different way

Quick read, fun and entertaining! What a crazy curse and shifter speed dating again. Dusty's secret is a doozy but Chloe's circumstances are a bit sad but also enough to make you mad! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. It was a quirky and fun read. Dusty is cursed and can't touch any woman without changing into a donut. This changes when he meets his fated mate Chloe. He can touch her and when they mate, part of the curse is broken. I would like to know if they can break the rest of the curse.

This is book 9 in that series and all have lived up to my expectations. Being a fated mate book made for more interest. How to make her believe that you are not just mates but fated to be together is another case.

Another fun read in the speed dating romance series. Dusty a fox shifter, was cursed by a witch. That whenever his is touched he turns into a donut. Leaving him in a bind when he finally meets his fated mate. These are such fun reads.
