It grabs your heart:
What a thrilling and amazing romantic suspense!
It was wonderful reconnecting with Jesse and seeing his personal growth and recovery since he first appeared in the previous book in the series. It isn't necessary to read that first as this book can easily be enjoyed as a standalone.
I really liked how Camille/River was able to tame Jesse and thought it was wonderful how he was protective and desperately loved her in return.
I enjoyed the danger and suspense aspects and thought that the plot developed at a good pace. The times of action were nicely interspersed with romantic and steamy moments which kept things feeling fresh and exciting. Whilst a little gorey and violent at times, there was also an amazing tenderness and sufficient emotion in this book to counterbalance it. I can't wait to see what this author comes up with next.

I can almost say I enjoyed this one even more, compared to the first book. The 'amnesia romance' angle provided the suspense, and at the same time, highlighted how important trust was in a relationship.The characters also intertwined well. And... Jesse's backstory is just *heart-wrenching*! Loved it.

What an amazing story
This is a very good story with great characters. Camille is a busy multimillionaire while Jesse is a rancher. He says her life and they have to deal with a lot of emotions and treachery.

I received an ARC from Hidden Gems and I am voluntarily leaving a review.
It was okay. Jesse Holt is running his family 's ranch when he comes across Camille in Cutthroat River. He rescues her. Camille has no memory of who she is and how she got to the river. As Jesse helps River (Camille since no one knows her name) to recover from her injuries, they decide to figure out who she is. They fall in love as they slow uncover River's true identity but things are not right in her world and they aren't sure who to trust.
You will like the characters. It is a good second book for the series.

Wow!
This will keep you on the edge of your seat. The story has a little bit of everything you would expect to entertain you from first page to last. Excellent job, Alessa Kelly!!
