Christopher Wren #1-3

The Christopher Wren Series: Books 1-3

Rate this book
The first three explosive thrillers in the bestselling Christopher Wren series: Saint Justice, Monsters and Reparation.

He goes by Christopher Wren, but that's not his real name. As a legendary DELTA operator he dismantled terrorist cults, drug cartels and corporate conspiracies around the world – but what cost him that job was the one thing he didn't tell his CIA bosses.

While he was taking these organizations apart for Uncle Sam, he was building his own on the side - a vigilante army of ex-cons, hackers and disgraced marines set to come to his aid at a moment's notice.

He's going to need them now.

Book 1 - Saint Justice

On the run from the CIA, Christopher Wren uncovers a ruthless human trafficking organization in the deserts of Utah, ripping hundreds of homeless people off the streets and launching them toward some dark, violent fate.

Nobody notices. Nobody cares. Nobody except Wren.

Book 2 - Monsters

In the midst of a midnight firefight in a fake Arizona town, DELTA operator Christopher Wren receives horrifying news. The Blue Fairy, a mythical cabal of elite abusers operating on the 'dark' Internet, has lashed out in the real world. Now an anti-abuse activist is dead, two more have been captured, and only Wren recognizes what's happening.
The monsters are coming out into the light.

Book 3 - Reparation

Reeling from a spree of vigilante executions high in the Alaskan tundra, rogue DELTA agent Christopher Wren stumbles upon a snuff movie like no other. The budget was in the millions. The death was live-streamed on social media. The result is medieval - a billionaire banker torn apart before an audience of billions - and only Wren recognizes what it means.

Chaos is coming to America.

The Christopher Wren thrillers are “as urgent and gripping as it gets” (bestselling thriller author Oliver Harris), packed with rollercoaster twists that will leave you hungry for just one more page.

Perfect for fans of Lee Child's Jack Reacher, Mark Dawson's John Milton and Vince Flynn's Mitch Rapp.

Page Turning Thrill Ride

Christopher Wren one of the more interesting Characters created by any action writer. Charismatic damaged character that grows because of his trauma riddled youth and troubled past that haunts him still. I can hardly wait to begin his next book. The first three kept getting better the more I read. This has become one of my favorite characters on par with Mitch Rapp, Ben Coe, Jack Reacher. Not quite to Harry Bosch yet, but he is growing. Maybe in 10 years he will surpass Bosch. I hope he withstands the test of time to reach Bosch status.

Apparently Not A Fan Of Mike Grist

I couldn’t finish this for a few reasons, not the least of which was the despicable nature of the books. Also was hard to follow, and pretty much unbelievable. I kept reading because I thought it was going to get better, and come to a good moral end, but I couldn’t hang around for it! I’m 62 and like my wife said, why waste your time reading something that you don’t like?? Sorry Mike, I really wanted to like it!

harrowing, breath-stealing, rollercoaster ride

And it’s not over yet as Christopher Wren still has past demons to exorcise; whether he wi be granted the opportunity to fulfill his destiny is still a question mark.

author seems to follow Qanon

Repetitive, lots of connections to Qanon conspiracy theories about pedophile cabals, lots of backwards introspection by the protagonist to the point of bleary eyed boredom. Definitely can’t recommend

Excellent

I really enjoyed this first series, full of action and very unusual but good plots. To me it is like Reacher on steroids. Big compliment since I very much enjoy the Reacher books )

cults

This was a well written book series. Very strong characters. Wren is so strong mentally & physically. The story lines are some of the things happening in our society.

I struggled

A great start but sadly really over the top from then on. Playing on the idea that America is run by paedophiles.
