Prisoner 0001 is a great start to introducing you to a great new series by Shade Owens The Feral Sentence. Prisoner 0001 tells the story of the first prisoner sentenced to Kormace Island—the Island of Killers. Seventeen-year-old Morgan Raurk is the first prisoner to inhabit the island.

Prisoner 0001 is a short story with lots of action to keep the pages turning. Once I picked it up there was no way I could lay it down until I had read the last page as it would not let go. I truly love stories like this and can’t seem to get enough of stories like this. I can’t wait to read more from this world in other books from this series.

I highly recommend Prisoner 0001 to all fans of dystopia. Grab a copy of Prisoner 0001 today!

This is a prequel to The Feral Sentence Series and is aa superb start to the whole adventure. We discover things here that really add to our whole reading experience of the series.

-Game of Death (The Feral Sentence #5)

This would definitely make a fantastic movie or television series!

A great opener

I was intrigued by this books cover and synopsis. It kept my attention from the very start. I can’t work out if Morgan is a softy or a hardass. Her dialogue hints at the former and her backstory hints at the latter. The characters are all individual and there could be a wealth of interesting features from all of their backstories as the series progresses. I just hope the colony doesn’t become too crowded that it becomes confusing to distinguish the different personalities later in the series. I shall definitely be reading more.

Action packed thriller

Definitely an action-packed survival thriller. Given a life sentence and air dropped near an island converted to a prison, Morgan finds she has a lot to learn about surviving in a danger filled jungle.
Will Morgan and her new found friends survive? You'll have to read the book to find out and it will definitely be worth it.

The mystery of why, who, what, when and where came up in this book. It is the start of a series by Shade Owens and it was great to read. I honestly could not put it down and really hated when I had to. I would finish one book and find the next one to start. I read one after the other with barely a break in between.
