How does one rate a tax law book..? Overall I really liked this overview which gave me plenty of notes to ask my accountant when the time comes.

5/10, good info, although the tax information is now probably a tad outdated. Geared towards those who already have a business that could benefit from tax loopholes, not necessarily those who are looking to learn about it without contextual experience.

It is useful, although I skimmed the sections that didn't seem relevant to me.

A friend from work tried to get me to read this book on taxation (rather than one of my usual sappy vampire romance novels). I thought it was (obviously) unexciting. More importantly, I wasn't convinced of the veracity of its statements. Maybe the book is simply out-of-date, but I felt like relying on it would end with me in jail for tax evasion. However, its possible I just didn't give it enough of a chance.

Some books about boring subjects are surprisingly interesting and engaging. This is not one of those books. This book is about as boring as it sounds. But it is well organized and the author made a sincere effort to explain complicated matters.

I was hoping for something other than I found in this book but it was a fast read and a good introduction towards small business incorporation.

I give this book a 3 for concept and a 2 for implementation and exploration of the idea. It is motivational look at how a person may run his own life as if he were a business. This book can be inspirational for entrepreneurs.

Some day I will be self-incorporated. This book looked interesting and an easier introduction than the Nolan Press book I have.

Seems like a good reference book to use while incorporating. Hard to pay attention to all the dry accounting details when not in the midst of it.

Great summary of the benefits of incorporating as well as the pro's and con's of each form.

I had the 9th Ed published in 1999. so it may have beem a little outdated. Some of the info was vague and non-committal. leaving you with more questions. Some advice was also regional.
