Your God given identity, purpose, and destiny are irrevocable.
The adventure waiting for you in The Kingdom is the opportunity to discover these truths and actively align with them. Along the way, one should never underestimate the powerful role that the Kingdom principle of redemption will play in this process. The prophetic promise first uttered by Kim Clement that, "Your place of pain shall become your place of reign," serves as a powerful theme that runs throughout every page of "From the Cult to The Kingdom." Dubb Alexander's personal story is one of ultimate redemption and emphatically points to the hand of a good, kind, and loving heavenly Father working behind the scenes to take everything that the enemy meant for evil and masterfully working it for the good of an entire nation. Follow the compelling journey of a young man from the streets of Dallas as he navigates through the controlling abuse of a cult in Waco, TX, discovers the truths of The Kingdom, and ultimately steps into his destiny of bringing the strategies of Heaven to heads of state around the world.
Dubb Alexander has a writing style that is quite similar to how he teaches/ preaches - a one on one, intimate tone that cuts through some of the misconceptions that Christians have about being a Christian. From the Cult to the Kingdom: From a commune in Waco to the halls of the U.N. speaks directly to the reader about how the author found purpose.
Alexander takes the reader through his childhood living in the "hood" near Dallas and through his experiences where he and his siblings were being raised in a cult. Dubb Alexander found salvation at a young age to avoid hell from a well meaning friend. What is fascinating is the journey that Dubb Alexander started with God and Holy Spirit once he broke free from the cult and started to explore deep questions that resonated within him and would not let go.
One of those questions was " What is the Kingdom" and Alexander shows the reader page by page what God intends for each of us through an entirely different view of who we are called to be. Another huge concept that is carefully entangled in the words of this non-fiction (but reads like fiction) piece is how God views us.
Definitely a good read! Alexander has a great tone- not "preachy" and his sense of humor is revealed throughout his journey. Very highly recommend this read- the pace is fast, but the messages and the love lasts long after the final pages!
This book was an easy read. I finished it within 1-2 hours. The book captured me from the beginning because I had a similar experience of the author. I was amazed at how he kept responding to the call of God even after all the trauma he experienced and allowed himself to be used mightily in another nation. This is a book I will read agin to pull out the deeper message he intended. Thank you!
This is a must read for everyone asking for a practical way to discover and operate in their unique purpose, with power! Hungry for more? Read the book! It's a page-turner you won't put down!
So much hope and inspiration packed into this short, biographical book. And like any great, true story, you won’t just learn about Dubb’s life, but you’ll find it teaches, instructs, inspires and helps you in your own life as well.
Given to me by a friend. The 7 Mountain Dominionism combined with certain peculiar features of Bethel-style "prophetic" manifestations is just ... not my cup of tea.
Phenomenal testimony full of revelations gained along the journey. I recommend this book to anyone interested in freedom from religion and living a life full of Kingdom purpose.
Couldn't put it down !! This book will give the word "Freedom" a whole new meaning to you !! Dubb's story and honest insights will be incredibly valuable to anyone who reads this !!
