When a young girl goes missing from a crowded beach, Detective Inspector Andy Bainbridge of Cleveland Police is put in charge of the case. Despite endless enquiries, no trace of the child is found, and it is assumed she has been swept out to sea. Sixteen years later, when a number of young women go missing from the same resort, Bainbridge is horrified to realise that their disappearance, and that of the young girl earlier, are connected. Bainbridge comes up against the worst type of evil - the pure evil of a twisted mind.
5 ⭐️ check tw I love this book. I would recommend it has loads of plot twists they loads of different cases in the same book. While I was reading this, i was shocked the whole time.
I purchased this book from Eva on the local market and she was absolutely wonderful. She explained all of her stories and which were series and stand alone. she reccomended this and another one so I purchased A Twisted Mind and began reading it.
Where do I start?
I was hooked. It introduced all main characters very detailed but also the plot reeled me in. I had to stop myself from binge reading so I could savour it!
Carmichael gives me the Redcar Mcfadden vibes with you scratching your head of what happens next or who done it.
With it being my home town she captures the environment perfectly and felt like I was inside the book myself.
Will definitely be purchasing another book soon!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I loved this book. Coming from the same area based in the book I really felt I could place myself in the story. It also kept me guessing and just when I thought I'd worked it out, I hadn't!! Can't wait to go to Redcar market and buy my next book off Eva.
