So many questions cropped up in my and made me ponder over the emotional maturity our society is in.
Why don't we punish the perpetrators for their crimes ?
Why does family prestige alway come before the love and well being of our family ones ?
Is wealth more important than the family for which we are accumulating ?
The author had penned a powerful work with the story of Sarah whose childhood was trampled and her voice silenced because of all the above factors.
I read this book in one sitting and the suspense was gripping till the end.
I give it a four star and expect many more works from the author.

'I Will Win Without War' ये कहानी 'सारा' नाम की एक लड़की के जीवन में घटित घटनाओं पर आधारित है, कहानी बड़ा ही मार्मिक है, मेरे लिए इस किताब को पढ़ पाना मुश्किल काम था, सालों बाद किसी किताब को पढ़ने के दौरान मुझे इस तरह की समस्याओं से गुजरना पड़ा, 'सारा' के साथ जो उसके कारोबारी पिता के दोस्तों ने किया ये सोचकर मन व्यथित है, बार-बार में मन में एक ही सवाल उपज रहे है, आखिर जो कुछ भी हुआ उसमें उस 5 साल की बच्ची का क्या कसूर रहा होगा? जिसने अभी घर की चौखट के बाहर की दुनिया को देखा भी नहीं, क्या उसका सुंदर होना अपराध था? या अपने घर आने वाले मेहमानों के साथ घुलमिल जाना उसका गुनाह हो गया? ये सवाल मुझे कचोट रही है, हो सकता है ये महज एक कहानी हो, लेकिन फिर मन में अनगिनत सवाल उठने लग जाते हैं, कुछ पल के लिए मान लेते है कि ये महज एक कहानी है, लेकिन इस तरह की घटनाओं को नजरअंदाज बिलकुल नहीं किया जा सकता, न जाने कितनी 'सारा' अपनी दर्द को छिपाएं बंद दरवाजे के भीतर घुट रही होंगी, चलिए अब आते है असल मुद्दे पर जो है ..I Will Win Without War ये नाम जो 'जंग, जीत और शक्ति' को अपने अंदर समेटे हुए हैं, पिता की संवेदना, मां का धैर्य, भाई की सरलता और इनसबके बीच सारा का अकेलापन कहानी को अविस्मरणीय बनाती है, कहानी की शुरुआत लेखक ने सारा और उसके मां के संवाद से की है, जो दर्शाता है कि सारा और उसके मां के बीच का संबंध ठीक वैसे ही है जैसे की आमतौर पर घर में मां बेटी के बीच होता है, सारा अपने घर में लाडली रहती है, जिसे घर के सभी लोग बहुत प्यार करते हैं, चाहे सारा के दादा हो या पिता सब उसे पलकों पर बिठाए रखते हैं, वहीं 'सारा' अपने भाई से काफी क्लोज है जो कि बोर्डिंग स्कूल में पढ़ने चला जाता है, आखिरी में सारा सबसे पहले अपने भाई को ही अपने साथ हुए बर्बरता के बारे में बताती है...ये तो रही कहानी जो काफी अच्छी है, लेकिन इनसब के बीच किताब में लेखक की घुसपैठ भी देखने को मिली है जो पाठकों को कुछ देर के लिए उबाऊपन महसूस कराता है, लेकिन पेज 50 के बाद कहानी में लेखक ने जान डाल दी है, जो कि आखिरी पन्ने तक नजर आता है, ओवरऑल किताब पढ़ने लायक है, कहानी काफी अच्छी है, आम जीवन में इस तरह की घटनाएं कहीं और किसी भी परिवार में घट सकती है इसलिए जागरूकता के लहजे से इस मुद्दे पर गंभीरता से सोचने की भी जरूरत है, हर पैरेंट्स को अपने बच्चों से संवाद के जरिए उनके जीवन में चल रही हलचल को जानने की कोशिश करते रहना चाहिए...लेखक को ढेर सारी शुभकामनाएं

This is a painful and heart wrenching yarn of Sarah, who gets crushed mentally and physically by near ones. Multiple attacks of rape at the mere age of 5 and 11 rips Sarah from her childhood joys. However, the visit of honorable Prime Minister at her school and his thought exchange ignites new hope in her. Sarah uses her wit and avenges the injustice done to her.
Why do-little ones fail to share their sufferings with their parents? Where does the fault lie? Are we as parents making some mistakes in our upbringing? Grab the book to discover more about Sarah.
When I picked up the book, I was not aware about the content. Further, the few beginning pages made me lose interest. But Sarah’s sufferings turned the tone of the book and glued my attention. There were times when I got goosebumps.
Sarah appeared to be a quite character that upholds the entire plot and leads towards story development. The story surfaces one of the most heinous crimes that many females have to bear. Had Sarah shared her pain with her parents, she could have saved herself from being the rape victim second time.
Simple and comprehensive writing style ,brings out the true hues of the story. A very strong lesson turns out from the story; parents blessed with girl child must build so much confidence in their ward that they should rush up to parents even with their smallest issues.
Finally, for me I feel the book speaks more than it has. Highly recommended for all parents and grown-ups.

I Will Win Without War is a book that needs to be read by everyone. This book is a story about how a girl named Sarah suffered serious incidents when she was just 11 years old.
The initial chapters of the book talk about Sarah and her family. She belonged to a rich family and she loved them very much. She had an accident in her childhood after which she had to lay in bed for many days.
Later in the book we find out that she got raped by her two of her father's friends, it's the main part of the plot. This is where I felt extremely angry.
The only definition of friends is the people who are there for you when you need them, but this lust that Mr. Singh and Mr. Agarwal had, it was monstrous.
The writing style is impressive,the words are kept very simple and easy to understand. The book is very descriptive and so at some parts it may thomp your heart a little.
Overall, it's a short read and you can easily finish it in one sitting. Most important factor is that this book aims to raise awareness amongst people and stop these shameful acts.

The awful anathema towards kids and ladies has been taken out in this book. This book manages youngster assault and actual maltreatment. The creator has endowed us with a story that we will always remember that being a young lady is a demonstration in itself and every last one of us should acknowledge it sincerely.
The story rotates around a young lady "Sarah", who was lovely. She vanquishes her feelings of dread, the injury of her youngster, her fantasies and goals. The starting parts talk about Sara's family and their relationship. She had a terrible physical issue in her experience growing up and was in the clinic for quite a while yet the tone changed amid the book which stunned me.
It is written in exceptionally straightforward language and it is such a subject that everybody ought to peruse it whether they are men, ladies or grown-ups. I prescribe to every one of them to feel miserable the same way Sarah felt distressed even after making the best choice

The title of the book- " I will win without war " was very interesting. Moreover, I heard a lot about this book in my book club.
Once I picked it up, I was drawn into the life of Sarah. A once sweet and talented girl who had to visit a psychologist to share her agony because of her childhood.
What is Sarah's story ?
The author presented a vivid detail of Sarah's life, her father, her melodramatic mother and a caring brother.
All was going well for her except that not all are the same inside and out. Her father's friends took advantage of her father's busy schedule which indeed created hovac in the young girls life.
The incidents are heartbreaking to read and at one point, I felt I heard this story as most young girls face this at one point or the other. I can't imagine the pain and the humiliation.
Finally, I liked the realistic ending the author gave to the story.
I would recommend it.

The horrific abomination towards children and women has been taken out in this book. This book deals with child rape and physical abuse. The author has entrusted us with a story that we will never forget that being a girl is an act in itself and each one of us must accept it honestly.
The story revolves around a girl "Sarah", who was beautiful. She conquers her fears, the trauma of her child, her dreams and aspirations. The beginning chapters talk about Sara's family and their relationship. She had a horrific injury in her childhood and was in the hospital for a long time but the tone changed in the amidst of the book which shocked me.
It is written in very simple language and it is such a topic that everyone should read it whether they are men ,women or adults. I recommend to all of them to felt sad the same way sarah felt grief even after doing the right thing

The story revolves around a girl named Sarah and the hardships she had suffered as a child. Sarah belonged to a rich family and her world felt complete with her father,mother,brother and her hero - her grandfather. She felt like the princess of her house.
However, at a very young age she is struck with a medical condition which leaves her devastated. Little Sarah is however determined to recover and fulfill her dreams. Thus she recovers with the help and love from her family.
What happens next is monstrous. I felt ashamed and angry and numb as I read through the rest of the book. How can people be so monstrous? How can they be so heinous?
This book, though short has highlighted the single most heinous crime in the world. People should read and become aware. Kids are in the gravest danger and we as adults should not trust people.
A very heartbreaking read.

Sarah was a girl who was loved a lot from her father and was taken the utmost care . Sarah belonging from a rich family always believed that through money she will achieve things with a flicker of an eye but the things seems not that easy for her. With the end of the novel , Sarah can be seen as a uplifting character who becomes much more sincere in her approaches.

Childhood is definitely the most important aspect of one's life. The Laughter, the games and the values we imbibe will stay with us for a long time.
Life is not always fair and it's safe say that Sarah has been on the unfortunate side to face the brunt of it.
The story of Sarah brings out the silent stories of several such girls who become victims of games which are played on them.
I liked the support which Sarah received from her brother but her parents ignorance pained and infuriated me. So many questions popped in my mind as to why we care is given to the society and why a child's life is sacrifised for the so called good name.
This is a must read as its very unconventional and the ending was crazy. I would have never anticipated it. The suspense was there till the end.

The story begins with Sarah visiting her psychologist. She was apprehensive to share her story initially but once she opened up, she poured her heart out.
The story of Sarah who was captivated my the speeches made by the prime minister to her school and on TV and how this very thing impacted her life is a painful read.
The mothers character is one which gave me mixed emotions. At one point, it is true that such people exist and the author merely tried to reflect the reality.
On the other side, I was empathising with Sarah and the life she was forced to lead.
This story tells us that not everyone can have a happy family and not everyone can dream of a good life. Even if one gets their revenge, still the pain remains.
Well penned by the author and she tried to capture the reality of the society we are living in.

She had a younger brother Arhaan and life was good. Her mom was a quintessential Indian mother who loved her kids but was often in her own world. Dad was busy.
His dad's connection brought her in contact with his friends which changed her life forever. She had to undergo severe trauma which no child had to face.
The story is well written and it is a short and fast paced read. I liked the subject picked by the author as more awareness needs to be created on this topic.

This is one such story. A story of resilience, patience and empowerment.
Sarah had gone through something which traumatized her for life. But this didn't stop her from pursuing what she loved and her perseverance and truth finally won in the end.
It's also a eye opener for parents to hear their kids out and understand their grievances instead of focusing only on career or for the sake of society.

Have you ever read a book which is a mix of thriller and social fiction ?
I have read books on women empowerment but the thrilling aspect was something new which I encountered in the book.The author kept the suspense till the very end and it did shock me to know the details.
More shocking was what happened to the protagonist " Sarah". This is her story which she shares with her shrink and we are transported to her childhood, teenage and her family.
I appreciate the author for picking this theme as it needs to be spoken about and awareness needs to be created on this subject.

The author Tanisha Tiwari takes us through the journey of Sarah. Her life, school, friends, family, brother, mother - daughter bond, and her father's colleagues/friends.
The story reveals ghastly realities about life , the masks people wear and the hypocrisy of the society and its norms.

This book gives us a vivid and brutal atrocities committed against young ones in the name of care. I was shaken after I read the book. The protagonist of the book is Sarah. All was going well for her. Rich family, good facilities and good school.
Few instances shook Sarah and she kept her stance by tye inspiring and fiery speeches of tye prime minister. Still nothing could save her from the situation she went through.
She later seeks the help of a shrink but does little help salvage her. I liked the realistic portrayal of the pain Sarah goes through. The reaction of her family and how she fondly misses her grandad.

Women have always been considered as a toy with no emotions or feelings. Men have felt that they can play or do what they want and still walk away scotfree.
The patriarc society has wrecked chaos and confined women to the four walls for ages. Now after a lot of struggle and perseverance on our part, we are having few rights.
This book reminds me that still all is not well. Women are still facing unknown atrocities and even kids are not spared. A spine chilling story for me. I liked that the protagonist got justice but still didn't get clarity on certain aspects. May be, I need to reread it again.

Being a woman, I can very well understand what Sarah went through.
Sarah is the protagonist of this book and I have admit that she is a brave soul to withstand so many things and yet achieve a lot.
Coming to the story, I would say that this book is a fiction/ social elements with a tinge of suspense in it..
Having a full time job, I find it difficult to make time for reading but this book captured my attention and it kept me hooked till the end.
Moreover, I have few questions and also would like to know if there will be a sequel for this book.

This was an intense book. I usually prefer fantasy books. The story is closer to reality as one reads in the news papers.
The character in the book is Sarah and she gets to see life at its darkest times. I liked her strength. Having gone through hell and literally no support from her family expect for her brother, she did well. I like how finally she got justice. But will justice be enough ?
The writing was simple and the book was a short read. I wish the book was better but nonetheless, enjoyed the read.

There is so much talk about women empowerment but how many really believe in it ?
Sarah is the main lead in this book. She undergoes hell and tries to remain as calm as possible.
But can any amount of victory really erase the pain which struck deep inside ones psyche ?
Sarah was a happy go lucky girl. She had a great bond with her brother but he was sent to hostel.
Living with her parents, all was provided. However , tragedy stuck.
I don't want to give away the plot but this was a quick and a good read.
