The faceless woman that has haunted their dreams for over three hundred years gives them hope that one day they will find her and the happiness they all crave.
A chance meeting at their new nightclub, Gothic sparks that hope that she's the one but the more time they spend together the more the echoes of a life none of them have lived come into focus and make them question everything. This book was a spectacularly terrible way to end a series that continued to decline. The dark themes from book 2 really carried over, with Bas reverting back to hating and not trusting her for more than 50% of the book. Nothing is figured out to right near the end, and the way the author wrapped this book up is so abrupt with the most laughable attempt at a happy ending that was so clearly rushed. So many lose ends and terrible behaviour for what? Shock value? Cause distress to readers? Why did the FMC apologize for her actions while under compulsion about 100 times, with Bas threatening to kill her, but when they find out what Luca does I see maybe one apology with no further discussion to the torture she was put through by all? Then it’s all just over, the author created this weird dark plot then abandoned finishing it properly, cutting a book and throwing together a bs ending. I won’t read another series by this author ever, I may try a stand alone as those seem to give her less room to be annoying with the plot.

A bit of a disappointment

I love the first book of this series. It had the laughs, the romance and supernatural intrigue. Its was light and kinda fluffy. The second book wrecked me, the author does give a warning but it was really depressing. It really got me down ,so, I thought book three wil definitely get back to the laughs and light of book 1, since the author did promise a happy ending. Right? Well, not really, it carries most of the dread of book 2 and Luca's character kinda fades to the back....he only had one Point of view chapter whilst the other guys got two or three and he's blamed for alot of the hurt and Eden never reassures him like she would if in book 1. Also, alot of the time traveling stuff is not explained to us the readers...its implied that its explained to Eden in a scene that's not in the book.

I guess I would have loved a bigger happy epilogue, with more scenes with the guys being cute and caring just to make up for book 2 and some of book 3...An epilogue that would have mirrored book 1 to nicely round of the story. I could have bounced back from the hurt of book 2 with a couple of happy epilogue chapters.

SPOILERS

I had really high hopes for this book... after reading the author's note at the end, I felt empathy for whatever the author was going through when they were finishing this book. But it just felt rushed. I would've loved to see the guys realize that Eden went back for 2 years and locked herself up to keep the world safe from her newly found blood thirst. I would've liked to see another group scene or two at the end when everyone gets their memories back... I was eagerly waiting this book and while I'm glad the author found a solution to Eden's mortality, I just wish there was something... more. Still very much looking forward to any of Reese's new releases!

genuinely put me in a book slump

It just felt so disingenuous to try to make this a love story after book 2. I didn’t really love the first book due to the cringy pop culture references and I wish I could go back in time to tell myself not to read this book. I had already read the first book and stopped around 80% cause I didn’t really think the story had anywhere to go. But the initial premise was interesting so decided to give it a try again. Dear god how I regret my mistakes. I’m actually genuinely mad. I have literally never cared enough to comment but this book sent me over the edge absolutely terrible. I don’t even think I could put into how much I hate the series turn in the second book. And please don’t try to knock me by preaching how it was good mental health awareness and realistic. I love when books have those touch of realism. Like for god sakes I lived it lmao. I’ve spent 3 months in a residential facility, 2 months in assisted living, and have had multiple inpatient trips. It not the somber depiction of mental illness (which is not really well done). But the tornado shit storm the plot was (if the author ever see this I’m sorry for being rude and I do think you are an imaginative and good author I just needed to vent about what this book put me through

Second read through review:

Thank goodness we got a HEA. Finally.

I think the experience of finishing the series as a binge-read vs waiting for each book’s release makes it an easier read. I still harbored some ire towards the men. And would have loved a GROVEL — is that too much to ask? I also felt that Eden blamed herself too much.

The substance of the story is great. The writing style… let’s just say that having reread the series in such quick succession, the flashback and dream scenes were repetitive. As in, lifted directly from the other books. I know it’s important to the story, but I noticed. Probably half the book is made of parts of the others.

Despite all of this, I really enjoyed the read. I wanted them to get their HEA so badly.

MCs:
Eden, Sebastian, Finn, Cade, & Luca

Subpar Synopsis:
Eden, a woman on the brink of breaking apart due to multiple recent tragedies, comes across a time-traveling mirror. It takes her to the past and there she meets Sebastian, Finn, Cade, and Luca. With some push/pull she and they develop feelings for each other but, while fate brought them together, it continues to tear them apart. Their decisions bring heartbreak and pain to each other and they question of whether love is worth it at all.

Thoughts:
I have a love/hate relationship with Reese's writing. Some of her books I can easily say are absolute favorites. Unfortunately, this series wasn't even close. Book 1 started off great by comparison and then I saw the afterword. I'll take extreme liberties here as I paraphrase: "I was too nice, now I'm just gonna fuck that shit up". Book 2 was awful in so many ways. I can try to appreciate the pain and the suffering but it was so pointless. It ruined all the characters in just about every way. Wtf was Reese thinking???? I mean, the afterword on the final book pretty much confirmed that I wasn't alone on this. I don't know if she just didn't have a pulse on how badly it would be received or if she just needed to try and push too hard to punish... It just sucked. It took what was, somewhat sweet (& smutty), and twisted it into some weird corruption. The 3rd book... ugh. They still blamed her but now suddenly it was worth it to stick it out. Which makes no sense. I know I'm past ranting at this point but, seeing as this review is more reactionary, I'm still pretty in it. It just had so much potential...

Series Overall: 1.8/5 - Because I'm mad and shit.

I wish I could go into that mirror and go back in time to stop myself from reading this series. First book? LOVED it! I loved the concept and the characters… and then it all falls apart after that haha.

I should have stopped at 2 when I was left really disappointed in the terrible terrible plot (and how the men treated her).

This book was literally pointless in that it literally is half regurgitating ‘memories’ for most of the book. It's so repetitive . Literally all the previous books ‘in a different modern font’ - waste of time.
I hated the guys by the end. Literally wanted to punch Sebastien in the face the whole time.

The ending also ended so abruptly and wayyyy too easy imo.

What a wonderful ending to one of the best RH series I’ve ever read. The whole journey from start to finish was worth every smile, madness, and tear. That 2nd book broke me and this one put me back together. I adore all of these characters, and it will be a series I will be recommending for anyone who loves RH, or just paranormal in general.
Gah, what a ride!! I loved this so much.

This is going to be a review of the three books in the trilogy
So most probably there will be some spoilers
book 1 5🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
book 2 5🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
book3 4.5 🌟🌟🌟🌟
overall trilogy 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Some notes before though

This is an RH (why choose) romance. The heroine has four love interests so many spicy scenes occupy the chapters
The story is fast-paced and because of that not many detailed descriptions are found (something I personally like in romances)
Because of the multiple love interests and the fast-paced plotline, and to not prolong the book, each book is not more than 420 pages. For that, the events may feel rushed. However, this does not deter them from enjoying them
Personally, with other RH series that were extended into 5 or 6 or 7+ books to build the slow connection of the characters, I loved that this was just 3 books. It would be boring if it were more
Book 3 may feel the most rushed, especially at the end, however, the author explains in the notes the reasons. Still, the story is complete and closes perfectly with HEA.
It’s a very dark trilogy, so many trigger warnings are there should you read, especially book 2
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Theme: RH “Why-choose” dark paranormal romance

Characters : Eden “time traveling human”
Sebastian “Alpha Vampire – Pack leader”
Luca “Alpha Vampire – sired by Sebastian”
Finn and Cade “Alpha Wolf-shifters”
Keket “Original Vampire – villain”

Topes: - Insta-love
- Slow burn
- Fated mates
- Grumpy/sunshine
 Triggers (check more in the book and authors page)
- Physical attack
- Non-Con (not sexual)
- Suicide thoughts
- Self-starvation
- Depression

Conflict: Is Love enough especially if it brings harm? Does Love transcends time?
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Book 1 meet the characters

Eden lives in 2028 of our world (yes in the near future). She is a survivor of an attack. She is practicing martial arts to defend herself and gain back her confidence. She is also going through a nasty divorce.
Amidst her chaotic life, her aunt dies and leaves her a Victorian estate. Eden finds a mirror in one of the rooms that transports her to 1667 France where she meets four dashing men who happen to be two vampires and two wolf shifters.
image:

Their courtship starts with humorus situations along the way as one expects when the past and future collides. The wolf shifters instantly accept Eden as she turns out to be their mate. However, Sebastian, the hot headed Vampire fights his attraction until he cannot anymore
When it seems all is well and settled, a dramatic shattering turn of an event happens that separates the lovers. Book 1 ends with a cliffhanger.

What I loved about this book is we get to see the real Eden when she is surrounded by nourishing love. When we first meet her, she is going through deep depression because of her family loss, her attack and her divorce. She is melancholic and contemplates taking her own life. However, once she is with her men, the fun, loving, caring, strong Eden emerges.

Just imagine this
You are transported into the past, you meet 2 vampires and 2 wolf-shifters, and the first thing you ask them is “Please, please tell me there are dragons?”. Immediately I knew I’ll have a blast with this book
It was also clever for the writer to put that Eden came from 2028 where technology provided solar recharge for iPhones. Because this device played a part in the story. Although I questioned whether Siri would function without the internet!!

Usually, in RH romances, I always notice that one character is not present enough and that the author has a favorite that is more focused on. Not the case here thank God! Each of the four love interests had his own moment to shine

Book 1 ends with a devastating cliffhanger

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Book 2 The conflict

“Spoilers for book 1”

Book 1 ends with Eden killed in 1667, but she is transported back to her time. She desperately tries to find a way back to her men. Meanwhile, the four guys suffer tremendously for more than 100 years because they think she died. We see how this affected them so much. Luca starts losing his mind slowly. Finn and Cade go into a depravity phase, and Sebastian retorts back to his grumpy state trying to keep his pack together.

They decide to leave France for the Colonies in an attempt to forget Eden.
Back in 2028, Eden receives a package from her dead aunt with a letter containing a clue that the mirror works during a full moon. It’s only been less than 30 days for Eden but more than 100 years for the men. The mirror takes her to America in 1776 and she is reunited with her loves
But here is where the plot turns tricky!

Luca starts rejecting her because he realizes that one way or another Eden will die since she is a human and they will go through the pain again. Sebastian refuses to turn her because he knows what happens with new turned vampires. They go into an almost two year bloodlust and killing. He knows Eden will hate them and herself if she does this

Eden tries to rebuild her relationship with her men, especially Luca. While discussing the time-traveling issue, she promises Sebastian that if she dies and goes back to her world, she will not come back again and let them suffer through the pain again. Shortly after, Eden is killed (while she is dying, something very important happens) and instead of keeping her promise she desperately tries to come again and again. Sebastian, in an attempt to save his pack, prevents her from meeting them, mainly Luca.
This affects all of them severely. Eden and Luca are on the verge of madness and self-harm. And no one knows why Eden is insisting on coming back

This book raises the thought of “what if your love is harmful? Would you continue to want to be with your loved ones? Even if you are not intentionally causing the harm?”

I felt for Eden. Her desperation to go back to her lovers, but at the same time I understood Sebastian reasoning for preventing her from coming back.
”I love you Eden….forever. know this, if I ever see you again.. I will kill you myself”
The book ends with Eden having to make the toughest decision and sacrifice.

And my heart shattered into million pieces.

book 3 the ending

“spoilers for book 2”
Eden has chosen the ultimate sacrifice. With her aunt’s magical compass, she goes back to the moment the mirror took her the first time and destroys it, thus removing all memories from her self and her men of their encounters.
It’s the year 2028. The four paranormal are now businessmen who own an infamous nightclub. Eden is back to her life as EMT. Even though they lost their memory of each other, they are plagued with dreams of their previous lives.

when they meet again, there is a de ja vu of book 1. Finn and Cade immediately are connected to her. Luca wants her. Sebastian fights the attraction.
And again, a dramatic turn of events happens that shows how deep Eden’s love for them is, how smart she was in planning everything, and how enormous the sacrifice she had to make.

Some would say that the book is rushed. I don’t personally see it as rushed per se. I feel like it needed an extra 50 pages to grasp the ultimate action Eden had to do.
The climax of the conflict in book 2 was downsized to “oops! It was my fault” without a proper apology. It felt that Eden had to do all the work and the men were just spectators.

But overall, I loved how the ending bound the previous books. And I enjoyed the trilogy.

I’ve seen the reviews of how this last book didn’t live up to reader expectations. However, I have to disagree. I enjoyed the hell out of it.

The first book of this series will always be my favorite. The second book wrecked me with heartache. But, this one… this one brought our heroine and her men back together in her time.

Now, I can see how the way in which this happened might have thrown some off but as I’ve said… it worked for me. Memories forgotten were remembered. Miscommunications and perceived betrayals were clarified. Enemies and threats were eliminated. And best of all, Eden and her men got their HEA.

Fand ich das Ende gut? Ja. Gefiel mir die Storyline? Ja. Hätten Dinge mehr ausgearbeitet werden können? Ebenfalls Ja. Und war es wirklich nötig drei Bände zu dieser Romanze zu verfassen? Eher Nein. Insgesamt 3,5 Sterne.

OMG! OMFG! This book was amazing!! I cannot believe that this author or this series is not getting as much publicity as they and it should! People should be talking about this series! Yes, I know book 2 was really dark and it really freaking hurt to read, but book 3 makes up for it tremendously! The author actually made this book the last book in the series, and I think they did it beautifully! The suspense, the mystery, the hope, the lost, the re-kindling of the relationship, building the relationship again, the hurt, the CHANGE, the intelligence! Gosh this book was so freaking amazing! I mean come on! Time travel, supernatural, and super sexy and yummy males who wouldn't want to read this series!

I just loved reading this and really think other readers should take the chance and read this as well. But you will definitely need tissues and the strong will NOT to throw your kindle at your wall!

Harem: Sebastion and Lucas (Vampires) and Finn and Cade (wolf shifters)

Sexiness: 4 .5 out 5

This review is of my own opinion.

I’m absolutely obsessed with this series!

Ok I binged this series in 2 days because I couldn’t put it down! I absolutely love every single book in the trilogy! I think book 2 might have been my favorite. The twist with Luca was just oh my goodness. The moment they had in the alley broke me. But I love their love, I love how Luca’s love was maddening and all consuming. The wolves never ending love for her. And Bas, I love how soft he got after he let her in. How even when he needed to be let her go he still needed to tell her how much he loved her. And Eden was just badass! I enjoyed the ending, even if I feel like something was missing…not sure what but almost like I was looking for one more thing to really tie their story up. Maybe each of the guys POVs of after they get back to their home?
Also can we have a book on the seer or Eden’s aunt? Because I think their stories would be amazing to read!

Yessss!!!! Reese Rivers. I read hundreds of books a year. They all start to blend and so many stories are the same. Your’s are not that. It has been so long since I’ve read something so unlike anything I’ve read before. There is such diversity in not just the story lines but the genres. I am normally not a time travel romance reader. Not my favorite. However, I loved the time after time books. So many twists and turns. Hearts ripped out. Put back together then gutted again. Just as I have loved absolutely everything Reese as put out. Oh Luca how many heart shattered for you in the last. For all of them. Only to have it wrecked again and then put back together. How they find their way is truly fate. Read this book. Read any book by Reese. You will not regret it.

Tedious

The idea was good, the execution was appalling.
This was no better than fanfiction. Basic spelling errors throughout. 3 books could have easily been 1.
It was utterly boring in places and became a chore.
The ending was utterly infantile in it's descriptions.
It's audacious to put a price on this.
If I had a time machine I'd go back to before I started this series and saved myself the boredom.

Nope 😅

It started well, I mean the first book. But, 2nd and 3rd book were mess. I couldn't see love. It was more like obsession. I feel like the author could have taken a different plotline. The last two books did the characters dirty, especially the guys. I couldn't even like them anymore.

Should’ve just been the first book. The second one just needlessly jerked us around with heartbreaking scenarios, and nothing new happens until almost 80% into this one. I’m so serious.

There was so much opportunity for historical travel, intrigue, and adventure. I’m truly disappointed that it feels as if we were robbed of that in exchange for repetition & spice that long lost its luster.

Speechless. I don't know what to write tbh but I want to leave myself a reminder to never pick this book up again. And I say that with the utmost respect.

My Review
.☆。• *₊°。 ✮°。

The build-up, the angst, the tragic love story, the consequences of time-traveling! Oh my gosh! And to only find out, 3 simple actions could've avoided all! 1. If Luca's dumb ass didn't compel her to keep returning! 2. For her to be turned into a vampire. And 3. Kill the threat with special silver bullets! Well...it's easier said than done, but a lot of things made it way more complex!

Book 2 and same w/ Book 3 was a case of unfortunate events. A book of shock value, I will say! My mind is literally blank, and I have no emotional connection with the leads. There were barely any happy moments, and everything went downhill for the leads from book 1. (Scroll down my review to "THE ENDING" it's more direct.)

.☆。• *₊°。 ✮°。

QUESTIONS & BUTTERFLY EFFECT

Oh goodness, then let's talk about the Deja Vu! Moments when she was alone, say for instance facing her ex-husband by herself, we see in this book that Sebastion was there with her this time. So that shows us an example of "the butterfly effect".

I'm still left with many questions! So when the FL was stuck in this loop, she went back to her future and saw Luca in an alley. Luca being insane and alone is the consequence of his compelling and everyone's actions. After she found that out, she sacrificed herself to end this loop by begging Luca to free her from his compel! So basically we saw a glimpse of an ending that could've been tragic. Like the butterfly effect games, you know the good, neutral, and bad endings. I don't want to even imagine if she didn't pass by him in the alley.

This is all mind-boggling to me. I tend to leave the time-traveling stuff alone because that's when theories start to come in and I don't feel like thinking LOL! I watched “Donnie Darko”, played Until Dawn, and got a summary of ”The Butterfly Effect” with Ashton Kutcher, and my ass almost ripped out my brain. Gosh, I dislike this genre because it forces me to think. I just wanna go frolicking!

.☆。• *₊°。 ✮°。

CHEATING!?

Anyways, moving on from all that, I have to mention the cheating~

Yup! The wolves have been fucking, men and women. The supposed MATES. I think they said over thousands! Lord! When the FL first died, they cheated. That was introduced in book 2. With this book, centuries passed, and..they did it AGAIN. This is a highly debatable topic. Do you count that as cheating? Because centuries went by, they are men, they are heartbroken and need to cope. Whist, with the FL, weeks, and months went by without seeing them. Personally, for me, it’s very conflicting. They are her MATES! I can understand Seb and prolly Luca, but werewolves?! Mfs that can not even get their d*ck hard for another person that aren’t their mates!? Pleaseeeeeeee… This is the first werewolves that found their mate that could get their dicks to work and indulge in pleasure of the MASSES!

I can understand why this is a HARD “HELL NAW” for some people, and I wholeheartedly agree. And I think this was ONE of the reasons why I didn’t let out a SINGLE TEAR with this series. So much crazy shit has been happening in book 2 I didn’t even have the TIME to let my emotions marinate. I was too pissed about the FL dying over and over again.

Me after the FL hit her head on the tub:

.☆。• *₊°。 ✮°。

THE ENDING

Felt surreal and gave HFN. But I will convince myself that they are happy forever. It felt kinda rush, and I wanted a conversation between the FL and Luca to happen. But I didn't get that.

It ended with that “Deja Vu” thing when the ML repeated something he said in the 1st or I think 2nd book, and then they orgasmed their way to the clouds of their enteral life. The End.

I’m exhausted. Let my tags finish the rest. Thank you for this experience, but imma avoid this ride like the devil is hot on ma tail!

These are my thoughts

There are so many mixed opinions about this trilogy, directly because of book two.
The first book was amazing, it is a beautifully written love story where Eden travels back in time and falls in love with four sexy paranormal men. When we get to book two it all starts to crumble. So much happened and it was so freaking painful to read. It was my favorite book of the three though because it was so complicated and so well thought out. I felt sick for our characters and I cried alot but I really enjoyed it because it made me feel so strongly.
I was worried that book three might fall short because I just didn't see how it could be worked out in an acceptable way that worked for our characters. The first half was very good.
I liked the ideas and the direction we were going, but then I started noticing holes and things that just didn't fit well to me. I won't say here because I don't want to ruin anything for people who haven't read it yet. Just that the book really sped up near the end and it felt as if the author was just trying to complete the book. It was too rushed and we lose alot because of it.
There is a message after the book stating that Reese experienced a loss during her writing so I can't be mad about it.
I was disappointed though because the story just ended unfinished for me. She also states that this was planned to be four books but she cut it to three. That has to be where the rest of the story is. I needed so much more after the ride that I've been through. I'm very hopeful that maybe she will write a bonus short or something like that to let us see where they are now and how they all reacted to what happened to Eden at the end. We were given so many details of all of their lives and so much of their personal perspectives, but nothing at all about the Major events that took place at the very end. Of course they were accepting, but I wanted to hear them say it. I wanted to know their reactions to learning how what they could have now and what all Eden had experienced while she was away with Aunt Adera. There were alot of questions that were never answered.
On a different note. In this last book we meet Davina and her men. They're already living their HEA so I thought surely I would find their story already written, but nothing. I looked through all of the books Reese has written and they don't have one. Yet? Fingers crossed!
Plus can we please please get a story for Kekonan because he really needs one too! It would be such a interesting book.

I feel like this review was more negative than I meant for it to be. I loved these books so I don't want it to come across badly but I wanted to put all my thoughts out with honesty.
I hope you all love this trilogy as much as I do, flaws and all.

Justice?? Happinesses??

I could only rate the final book with 3 stars for over all and I hate that.
It had so much promise after the first book.

What started as my overall favorite story with the best characters of all time …that I will still never be able to forget and terrified that I will never read anything better again…. Morphed into tragedy unlike anything I could ever imagine.

Book 1 - Absolute Perfection!!!

Book 2 - Took perfection and shattered it until nothing but heartache and sadness was felt.
I seriously got depressed and just wanted to scream.
I honestly knew that after book 2 there was no way to fix the love that was broken but was hopeful that the author would at least give poor Eden and the guys some form of justice…so I forced my broken heart to read the third book. Hope was all I had left.

Book 3- Ugh I am so angry.
Yes!!! In the end…Eden got her justice against the ones that wronged her, so for that I am grateful.
However the entire book had Eden, my favorite strong and beautiful and funny Heroine of all time and turned her into the FMC that I honestly hate in most books, whinny and damsel with absolutely no fight in her!!!

Then when the tables were FINALLY turning to a good outcome …it didn’t start until the last 20 percent of the book. Rage

After all that heartbreak and sadness….
Why were these beautiful characters not given more than 1 small chapter ending that was completely rushed and short handed to pretty much say they lived happily ever after The End!!

They deserved better MORE!!!

No way am I walking away from this story feeling happy and knowing that they really did live happily ever after!!!

Where was their Epilogue or there own Whole Book #4 to show all the good things that came after???

It would of taken a whole book to rewrite all the wrongs done to their love story not a measly chapter!!!

Why Author Why?????
You were going to be my favorite Author of all time and I planned to read every book of yours forever but I’m too dang scared my heart won’t be able to take it!!

So sad!!!

Book 3 of 3

This honestly was kind of a letdown for me. The dark tones of the second book were definitely still in this book for like the first half and I feel the ending was rushed.

Eden shattered the mirror in the second book before she went back in time the first time. Which means she never went back and never met the guys. The book is now set in her time and the guys own a new club/bar. They all keep having these dreams about eachother but they are mostly feelings so they don’t understand what’s happening. Eden is back to being an EMT. She is called to their club because someone overdosed. She ‘meets’ two of the guys during that call.

Sebastian went back to his original self from the first book where he ‘hated’ her and didn’t trust her. Finn and Cade are pretty much all about her again just like the first book. Luca is kind of sad but hopeful around her. None of them really understand what is happening and why they keep having the dreams. The first night after being around the guys, they all have the same dream and it’s very clear on what’s happening. Sebastian thinks she is a witch and has cursed them (of course 🙄). They figure out pretty quickly that by opening up to eachother, their memories start to come back from their ‘previous’ life.

Her ex husband and Sebastian’s maker (whatever the hell her name is) cause them problems during the book but all gets fixed in the end.

Kind of pissed me off they gave her so much grief about ‘returning’ to then over and over in the second book thinking it was her fault, but when they find out it was actually Luca’s fault cuz he compels her, it’s all good? Like ya’ll kind of wanted her dead and promised eachother you wouldn’t look for her in her time because of all the heartache ‘she’ caused, but because it was Luca’s fault, it’s just like oh okay that’s fine. SIGH

I hope we get a book about that witch/seer or whatever she was lol Can’t remember her name but she was the one that told them the prophecy. I’d like a book with her and her harem!

3.5⭐️ 2🌶️

• MFMMM reverse harem
• time travel (setting of this book is our modern world)
• vampires and wolf shifters
• angst, trauma, drama
• kind of a second chance romance
• multiple pov
• 1st person pov

We finally got the HEA!

Some parts were really repetitive and I found myself skim reading parts because of the too many flashbacks/dreams. I think it was great probably for readers who had to wait for the books to release, but for someone binge reading like me, it was too much repetition that I just skipped parts to get to the juicy new stuff.

I would’ve loved a bit more development on their HEA and the ending. The resolution of the conflict was brushed over a bit too quickly in my opinion.

Apart from that the story was entertaining, yet a bit frustrating at times.

SPOILERS AHEAD:

I honestly didn’t completely appreciate the way things were handled, as a reader I felt a bit cheated on when their memories were erased. I felt like reading books 1 & 2 was almost like a waste of time, like they didn’t matter. In the end, they get their memories back, but it still let me with a little bit of a sour taste. Like it was the easy way out instead of them working through the sh!t they went through and did to each other. This is just my opinion of course.

With all the flashbacks/dreams it really felt like I was re-reading the important parts of books 1 & 2 again, which again as a binge reading experience got a bit boring for me.

Full Circle Closure with a Dash of Spice🌶🌶🌶

After the emotional turbulence of Book 2, this book was the healing balm I needed. It brought everything full circle, delivering peace and closure in the end. The plot and storyline are amazing, and the characters? I adored them even more in this installment than in the previous one. The spice level? A solid 3 on the spice scale, enough to keep things interesting without overshadowing the story.

Reading the entire series as a binge-read rather than waiting for each book's release made for a smoother reading experience. It's a great story, for sure, but the writing got a bit repetitive at times. Those flashbacks and dream sequences, even though they were important, felt like they were ripped straight from other books. Still, the repetition didn't ruin it for me.

I was rooting for their happily ever after, so passionately, and I'm glad the author found a solution to Eden's mortality, though I wished for something more in that respect. Still, the ending felt right, even if the series was cut a book short.

I'm eagerly anticipating the authors future releases and would love a spinoff exploring her aunt's adventures or the witch and her four men who played roles in the plot.

This series just gets better and BETTER!! Obviously, we pick up from book 2 whereby Eden has erased herself after ever finding the mirror and traveling in time, and so the book opens with the original Eden finding a broken mirror, so nothing happened. EXCEPT!!!!! Now she meets the men in her own timeline and they own a local club that she attends on an EMT call.

Immediately, all four men are intrigued by her scent and image. As it happens, since 1667 they have been plagued by dreams of a faceless red headed beauty that eclipse’s their hearts and souls, only to be ripped away from them with a 100 year gap until the next set of dreams, saturated again in the deepest feelings of loss and love. Eden triggers these same feelings upon their first meeting and Eden too, starts to have the same profoundly sad dreams. The men believe she could be a witch who has hexed them, but as they grow closer and accept one another and fall in love all over again, the dreams become more clear and the group discover the alternate timeline that Eden had previously destroyed.

The book ends with a HEA, but again, the writing leaves some things to be desired, but this book concept was so amazing!!

This was a good trilogy

I know there were roughly 380 pages of the novel out of roughly the 398 pages, but it felt like there was so much less. You know that was a good read when there were so many written words but you want more because it ended too soon and you can't believe that was it. That it was over, already.

You may find that you build this love-hate relationship with the characters, every single one of them. I don't believe a single one of them are innocent in their choices and actions. So many different choices, and yet, someone is always hurting.

I really wish the epilogue/ending was longer than what was written. It didn't feel like closure to me.

This journey of 'Time After Time' with the characters will take you through the purest of love, heart breaking sadness, anger, confusion, regrets, and everything in between and after. You will definitely go through a roller coaster of emotions. It does make you ask yourself, if you were in that position, what would you be willing to sacrifice and would it really be a sacrifice or selfishness?

I do love when an author can incite emotional riot in the reader from their written work of art.

Omg I loved this series!!!

I’m not usually one to read fantasy/paranormal, but there was a teaser at the end of her Dying for Love book & I was immediately hooked.
I got through all 3 books in like 3 days, because who needs to sleep, & now that it’s over I’m.. Sad? Frustrated because I got so attached to the characters & I want more??

There were so many twists, SOOOO much frustration where I wanted to slap the MMC’s & yell at them to realize what was going on & I laughed A LOT!
Reese did an amazing job with covering all of the bases & not leaving me with any unanswered questions about the many different things that happened.

The first two books left you on cliffhangers (of course) but if I’m honest, that’s how I felt every chapter was. I had such a hard time putting the book down because I absolutely needed to know what happened next. I don’t think I’ve ever breezed through a series so fast!

Spice was about 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ & it was damn good too!!
The very end was quick & wrapped things up nicely.
& now I know I’ll be looking for new fantasy & paranormal RH books!

This series was SO FUN! Time travel, shifters, vampires, LOVE, and smut. All my favorite things 💕 I feel like I've read so much, that books becoming fairly predictable, but the time travel element of this series was amazingly done! I will say the amount of text that was copied and pasted to help with the elements of regaining memories, allowed me to skip of chunks of the book, which I never do. I'm an avid believer in reading all the words, but as I DEVOURED the first 2 books, all the "memories" were fresh in my mind, so I was able to skip all those scenes. I can only imagine that helped refresh most readers minds when these books were being released, so I don't think this is an actual flaw at all. I have enjoyed this author so much, and am excited to read all the the books she's published. 10/10✨

A love so great and tragic that even erased completely, it causes echoes in Time that can't be denied.

Reese, you've done it again!!

Couldn't get enough! While I thought Book 2 was lacking, Book 3 pulls it all back together! Still could have used more steam for me but the steamy scenes she did have, she brought it all to the table!

It was amazing to see the transformation of all the characters but especially Eden. For all that she had been through she never lost her fight. It was also nice to see the changes in her men as well. That even after so much time, they grew and never shied away from what they wanted.

I would REALLY like to see Reese now make a series for Kekonan. For being the most powerful he seemed to have a kind soul. He deserves his own happily ever after!
