Balance pretty much picks up from where Innate leaves off but in this book, Thana and her mates face some major challenges. Lucifer still wants Thana to be his queen and is throwing one hell of a hissy fit to get it. Not only is Thana pregnant but she is also the Destroyer's heir and the responsibility of taking up the mantle is coming sooner rather than later. Thana and her mates soon find that not only do they need to balance their family but they soon will need to balance the fate of the world.
Thana has definitely grown into her power and accepted her role in this book. She has found a confidence from within that she was lacking before. Though she still suffers some residual moments of pain and doubt-thanks to her past- she soon learns that she is not alone and has a fantastic support system. With this knowledge at hand, she is able to accept her role in the world and step into it with much more ease.
Balance was a really good continuation in the series. The story is interesting and will keep you on your toes the whole time. It has some major curve balls that will throw you for a loop I will tell you that! The character development is superb on all accounts- Thana is not the only one that gets more confidence or grows up. Seeing the journey her mates have been on really makes me appreciate them as a group even more. The world-building is also quite excellent. The descriptions and feelings of the book really do jump off the page and get you involved.

Lovethis series which was my first by this author, Thana grows into a really good FMC protecting her family, there are some good plot twists and a humdinger of a cliff hanger.
This author is very good with emotional content so much so that teh storey almost passes you by - read in one sitting as it was really engageing.

I am loving this series! With each book it just keeps getting better and better and the storyline just draws you in and holds you tight. The relationships are developing and changing and the ‘family’ growing and there’s challenges they must face. It’s fast paced and full of action and of course you can’t have a paranormal RH without some steam and boy is it hooooot! Exciting and intense this is a great addition to this series!

I couldn't put this book down! Book 3 in The Dark Angel Chronicles series by Serenity Rayne is the perfect apex of the series. The events that Thana and her men go through kept me engaged from start to finish. There is plenty of action and steam. The story is compelling. I can't wait to see how the story continues.

This is a fun series and an easy read. I had a bit of a harder time with this one because it was more violent than I had expected but I should be used to this kind of stuff and it did happen pretty subtly. If you’re looking for a good angels/demons/ RH/ paranormal romance with good banter and lots of sexy ness, this is a good one!

A lot happens in this book, and a lot of it is fairly fast-paced too. Thana is getting a lot of new powers which she seems to know how to use immediately. I kinda wish there was a little more "training" or similar for some of them instead of using a get out of jail free card and her being given the knowledge on how to use them. I felt the whole one male getting more attention than the others in this story again, and feel bad that at times some of her guys are almost forgotten. Sadly a similar thing happens to one of her children too and I sometimes forget she does in fact have two children, not just one until they are mentioned again.
The thing is I enjoy the story, but there are just a few niggles that make me feel really bad for some of the characters. The idea for the story is brilliant and I want to see what happens in the next book. I'm really hoping the next book will have a bit more of all the guys and her other child, spread the love and all that.

Thana and her mates face some real challenges in Balance, the third book in the Dark Angel Chronicles. Lucifer is still wants Thana to be his queen and is throwing all manner of things at them. Thana herself is not only pregnant but is the Destroyer's heir and that is a lot of responsibility on a person not to mention all the other things she has to deal with.
However, Thana deals with everything beautifully. She has grown into her power, accepted her role, and is filled with the confidence that she was lacking before. Thana is a powerful force, sure she still has some moments of pain because of her past but her mates are right there with her. Thana is a strong person for it, a balance of light and dark.
As for the guys I love how they pretty much roll with the punches. They take what's thrown at them and handle it together, all the while following Thana's lead. Yeah there are still some growing pains, everyone doesn't get along all the time and they disagree about some things but mostly they still have each other's back. In fact, two become a whole lot closer, and honestly, I didn't see that coming at all.
Kinda like I didn't see how this story went from a cool paranormal romance to horror, it happened so subtly. One minute its hot dates, fast cars, sexy-time, prophecies, rock concerts, charity events, and debates on antiquated angelic ideas, and then the next thing I know people hearts are ripped out, people, are turning into monsters, actual monsters make an appearance and some got their face locked and not in the sexy fun time way.

I have been waiting to read this book since October when i finished book 2 Innate and boy was it a delight. Thana and Raph her boss, Christian her best friend, Gage - a cursed soldier, punished for centuries for speaking his mind boy do i love him and then Cyrus - the son of Death himself wowza are hotter than fire. Now though we have Thana adding Metatron as her fifth mate. after that we have a sacrifice from one of the mates which i cried at. boy i cant wait to get book 4 i need it.

As the story progresses another change is forced on them, the attacks on them become more earnest, and the losses the experience will either fuel the fire needed or extinguish it all under the grief they feel. Serenity Rayne gave this reader all the feels in Balance the third book of her Dark Angel Chronicles. With the final battle yet to come who knows if everyone else will make it out.

Never a dull moment is Thana’s life. We pick up pretty much where we left off in the previous book, and it’s non stop ! Lucifer is still causing troubles and on top of being pregnant, Her hands are full with many responsibilities. We get to see a lot of character growth from Thana and her mates and well as relationship growth that really added to the story. This was a great addition to the series with action, steam and drama to keep you entertained to the last page!

Balance: The Dark Angel Chronicles by Serenity Rayne is the third book in the series and we are not disappointed. the author continues her amazing writing style and keeps us totally engaged and actively invested in the many characters. There is plenty of thrilling drama and heart wrenching, heartbreak, but also joy and hope. I really have no idea how she'll be able to top it with the next installment, but I'll be there to see her do it!

In this book Serenity Rayne just took descriptive writing to another level! There are a lot of battles and blood and it may not be for the faint hearted. However I loved it! The storyline flowed well with Thana finally bringing Metatron into the bond which in itself brought a new problem. A birth, a death and a vengeful mother all made for a very exciting read

Balance continues Thana's journey with her family and her destiny and boy what a journey this is turning out to be! I cannot write too much in this review as Spoilers (and no-one really truly loves a spoiler) BUT the adventure is amazing!!
As always with Rayne there's a unique blend of fabulous action, heat, and kick butt character development... especially from our lead female Thana but the entire family grow as the story progresses.
The third installment adds further detail about the upcoming war, more characters who are fabulous and so much more, most of which you do not see coning!!!
I did not want to put this book down and I cannot wait for more in the series!!

Third book of the series and it will blow you away. Just when you think you know what will happen everything changes. Thana has grown so much in the series. She has her mates and is soon to give birth to two babies. The story follows how she and her mates connect more and become a family. We get to know each of them as well as some extended family. All will have a big part in the fight against Lucifer. Thana is tough and will have to make hard decisions but she will do anything for those she loves. Filled with action and danger. The romance gets pretty hot with one m/m scene.

Balance was a whirlwind of emotions and fantastic moments! Thana and her men have grown so much in this series, and it is great to see their relationship take another step forward! I cannot wait to see what is next for these characters and this story. Looking forward to book 4!

Wow this has by far been the best book of the series! I loved the introduction of the babies, and the guy’s reaction to them. We have already seen Thana’s soft side and her strong side but I felt she truly came into her full potential in this book, not just physically but mentally as well. I love that she is now seeing just how much of a BA she really is. Big changes are happening, completing the bond between all of the mates and parenthood, Thana and the guys are going to have to make some big sacrifices in order to over come new and old threats. You aren't going to want to miss this book Serenity really hit it out of the park with this one! A strong female MC, mates that respect and treasure her, an amazing story line, and some really hot sexy times. This was a great book with some amazing characters!

As all of Serenity's books, this kept me reading until the last page. Loved that Aurora and some of the gang showed up, and the story kept you on your toes. Thana and Cy really start to deepen their relationship and trust, it's really beautiful to watch. Gabe falling was a bit of a twist, and also a surprise. I'm looking forward to see how Thana and Metatron works out their relationship.. Really need book 4 like right now!

The third book in dark angels chronicles Balance is yet another captivating book that grabs your attention. Thana is growing into her power and her and her mates meet a lot of challenges in this book and they face them head on. Throw in a new mate and some kidnapping it’s definitely a wild ride. There’s some really great character development in this book, fast paced, full of action, steam and plot twists.

Balance is the third book in the Dark Angel series and we’re sucked back into Thana’s journey. Thana is growing into her powers more and that brings al whole new set of challenges. The relationships between her and her mates are growing, add in a new mate and everything is thrown off balance. Throw in a kidnapping and they find themselves in a war.
Balance is fast paced with plenty of action, steam, and drama to keep you hooked. Can’t wait for the next one.

Thana is absolutely a Bad*%$. This is yet another series of Serenity that I have fallen in love with. Powerful Female lead character instead of a weak one. When her child is taken nothg stops her, I love that her harem is more balanced now and in the most perfect way.. Cannot wait for the next installment.

This is the third book in the Dark Angels Chronicles and it is such an amazing read! I have literally devoured each of these books as soon as I could get my hot little hands on them!
I loved how the relationships between Thana and her mates changed and evolved in this book. I adored the addition of the babies. I also loved Thana’s personal changes and growth.
I loved the uniqueness of the storyline, the fast paced nature of the book, as well as all of the action, and of course the steam!

Balance is the 3rd book in The Darker Angel Chronicles series and to me it seemed that this book was darker than the other two. Thana (FMC) came into her own in this book and i loved that she did. Even more so when shes like a big bad angry mother protecting her family from outside influences including Lucifer. I love Thana and all of her mates. Metatron was just such a sweet guy. I wanted to just hug him. Phew Cyrus and Gage!! So hot!! I cant tell you how much im loving this series. Its a cracking read

This series is great! Please note that this book is part of a series and is best read in series order. That being said - well written and exciting, this series just gets better and better! Unique storyline and fast paced but flows smoothly. Love these relationships and how they have evolved and the ending that has me dangling on the cliffhanger! Can't wait for what's next in this series!

I'm not even sure where to begin. This book has it all. Love, romance, action, heartache. Its so good and I read it in a little over a day. The ending, well can't say I saw that going that way. I can't wait till the next book!

This series just keeps getting better and better. Thana and her mates as always face a lot of challenges in this book, but they meet them head on and together. There was a lot more action going on in this book and a lot more moving parts with Lucifer actively trying to get Thana to be his queen. I love how Thana has to develop a relationship with all her mates and there is some struggle there and she doesn't instantly fall in love with them. I love how confident Thana is becoming in herself and in her powers. I can't wait for the next book because the ending was just gut wrenching.
