This is the final book in the Wild Frontier Shifters series. However, you do not need to have read the rest of the series to enjoy this book. This story works well as a standalone. It is written as a dual POV. Shaw is a wolf shifter and alpha who runs a bar and despises Christmas. His painful past keeps him from enjoying the festive holiday. Jissika is a polar bear shifter from Canada. She loves the holidays and family tradition. Yet, she is running away from a life that she feels she wasn’t in control of. All she wants is to live her life her way and make her own decisions. These two individuals are thrown together and are obviously meant to be together, however, their pasts seem to get in their way. What ensues is not only funny and heartwarming, but also dangerous and thrilling. With a blizzard on the way and a poacher in their midst, it takes them working together to survive. This story is well written, filled with adventure, face paced and easy to read. It is a nice read for the holidays. 'Her Christmas Wolf' by Meg Ripley is the eighth book in her Shifter Nation: Wild Frontier Shifters series and tells the story of Jissika, a polar bear shifter looking for a job, and Shaw, a wolf shifter and alpha of his pack. Jissika has left her home because her parents are trying to force her into an arranged marriage but she wants to make her own choice. She arrives in Sheridan and goes into Shaw's bar to ask for a job. Shaw's wolf is very excited to scent Jissika so Shaw gives her a job in the bar. This way he can keep an eye on her. He has a feeling there's more to her story than then what she says.
Jissika showed up for work the next day ready to learn about the bar policies plus she was a bit excited to see Shaw and find out if the connection they had last night was true or just a fluke. Shaw introduced Jessica to the other two employees, Hunter and Savannah, and said that she'd be starting today. He gave her a tour but there was none of the give and take from the night before between them. Jissika was a little bit disappointed that he was all business but understood as it was his bar. However, she was going to have to do something about the Christmas decorations, they were sad and awful. She wondered if Shaw didn't like Christmas, that would be a deal breaker, unless she could change his mind.
Ms. Ripley has written a delightful addition to her series. The chemistry between Jissika and Shaw is prevalent. This story has secrets, danger, angst, laughs, and plenty of heat. I enjoyed this book and recommend it to anyone who likes a bit of mystery with their HEA. Hope a new one is coming soon.

This is the story of Jissika and Shaw, She is a Polar Bear Shifter and he is an Alpha of the Sheridan, Wyoming wolf pack. He is also the owner of the Full Moon Saloon. Jissika is on the run and walks into his Saloon during a Christmas walk.
When they meet, his wolf goes crazy when he sees Jissika. When she asks for a job, he decides to hire her despite the fact that during the busy holidays he only takes in members of his own clan. Both carry a baggage with them, but the journey they pull together is fun to read. The storyline and the characters and characters of theirs are great and they fit well together.
The answer to the question how did Shaw get the scar on his face there you get an answer in the book and to other questions too. This book is definitely recommended!!!

Finding The Courage To Fight For Their Destiny - Shaw was known by everyone for his grumpy sourpuss attitude, but the moment Jissika walked into his bar, something inside him shifted, but he didn’t know at the time, that life as he knew it would no longer be the same. The sparks between them exploded for one night, but both their insecurities caused them to halt any progress that could happen between them. However, Shaw soon realised Jissika was his other half the moment he discovered she could be in danger and he pulled out all the stops to ensure he got his happily ever after.
This I a really thrilling story about two people who are really guarded and don't share easily because of their pasts, but fate brought them together and helped guide them to ensure they lived a fulfilling life. It was difficult to stop reading once I started and I am sure you will be hooked on the story too.

Shaw hates Christmas! He has his reasons but nobody knows what they are as he hasn’t opened up about them. He puts the barest number of decorations in the windows of his bar, the Full Moon Saloon and takes them down just as quickly as they go up. When he sees a beauty at the end of his bar, he moves in, but when she asks for a job that makes her off limits. Jissika left her village to flee an arranged marriage and to try to find where she belongs. She gets a job and all is going well until she and Shaw hook up, afterwards he keeps blowing hot and cold. When she tries to show him her feelings, he pushes her away and so she plans to run again. When danger comes to visit the mountains, Shaw has to race against time to keep everyone safe. I absolutely loved this book: Shaw and Jissika are so perfect for each other and the ending was worth waiting for. I voluntarily received and reviewed an ARC copy of the book.
Shaw employs Jissika in his bar they are drawn to each other but both have difficult pasts. Full Moon Saloon in Sheridan is owned by Alpha Wolf shifter Shaw which he runs with the help of siblings Hunter and Savannah but with the approach of Christmas there are no decorations in the bar but on the day of the Christmas Stroll he brings out a few tired old decoration. As special they offer a free Polar Bear shot to each customer. This book is part of a series but can be read as a standalone. This book is about shifters.
Shaw is the owner of the town bar and a loner. Jissika is looking for somewhere she can belong, she is running away from an arranged marriage and is fed up of people telling her what to do. She ends up getting a job in Shaws bar, but starts to realise that maybe she is fated to he with Shaw. She doesn't want fate to tell her what to do and Shaw has issues of his own that cause then to fight and Jissika decides she needs time on her own up in the mountains. But when a new danger arrives on the mountain, Shaw is worried about Jissika, will he be able find her before it's too late.
I really enjoyed reading this book and would recommend reading it.

This is a NON-SPOILER REVIEW of Her Christmas Wolf by Meg Ripley. This read is the final book in her Shifter Nation: Wild Frontier Shifters series. While this is a series read, this book can easily be read as stand alone. Sooo, we are back in Sheridan at the Full Moon Saloon with Shaw for his least favorite holiday of the year. But despite his dislike for the season, he must have been a really good boy this year because he is about to get the gift of a lifetime... his fated mate. Jissika is running from a life she has no control over and is about to find what she has longed for. This is a sweet holiday story that takes two individuals that shouldn't work and makes a magical connection between them that changes both of their lives.

This is the last book in Meg Ripley's Wild Frontier Series and I think it was one of the best. In Her Christmas Wolf we meet Jissika, a polar bear from Canada. Shaw has been in some of the books as he is the alpha of the wolf shifters in Sheridan and owns the Full Moon Saloon. The two meet when Jissika goes into the bar and then asks about a job and the rest is, well fated mate. I enjoyed this book with the little bit of Christmas cheer that is throughout it and was glad that I was not living in a snowy region like they were in Montana. Thanks Meg Ripley for a great series, looking forward to your next one.

This is the story of what at first sounds like an unlikely couple, Jissika and Shaw. Jissika is a polar bear shifter who is running from the control of others so that she can make her own choices. Shaw is the Alpha of a wolf pack and the owner of the bar Jissika arrives at as she is looking for a job. They are also different because she loves Christmas and he doesn’t.
When Shaw’s wolf sees Jissika, he acts crazy around her and is possessive. Shaw decides to hire her when she asks about a job. They both have things to work out, but the attraction is there. Will they accept their Fate and become mates? Or will Jissika’s past catch up to her and put her in danger?
This book is amazing! It’s back to Sheridan Wyoming one more time and it’s Shaw‘s turn to get his forever! Christmas is his least favorite time of year but participating in the town’s Christmas Stroll will bring him something he never expected, his mate. Jissika is on the run from a marriage she doesn’t want and she will find a job and a bit more in Shaw’s saloon. Their journey is a bit bumpy but when push comes to shove, the two will admit the depth of their feelings for each other and take the first step together that will lead them to their forever.

Shaw, owner of the Full Moon Saloon and a wolf, is not into Christmas so the decorations in the saloon are slim to none. Then Jissika, a polar bear, finds herself having a drink in the saloon then getting hired to work there as a bartender. She goes all out with Christmas decorations which makes Shaw a little annoyed even though they are immediately attracted to each other. But Jissika takes off after Shaw makes it clear about the decorations. Once Shaw finds out a hunter is after a bear, he takes off to find Jissika before she gets hurt. They finally admit they are mates and make it official. This is a sweet and romantic Christmas story with a happily ever after.
Shaw has popped up in other books in this series and I was thrilled to have him find his own HEA. The pain from his past never showed in previous books but it was evident throughout this book. Jissika totally blew him away when they first met. She also had a past and any sense of being controlled or told what to do made her react because of her past. It was interesting how each of them navigated through their feelings and dealt with their worst nightmares. I really liked their characters and was delighted how they worked things out at the end.
This story was almost an attitude opposites attract romance, though the lead characters, Shaw and Jissika, were very similar in personality traits. I enjoyed watching them develop as characters, overcoming individual barriers to a relationship brought about from historical issues.
The story is dual POV, well written and edited, and a lovely Christmas story, with a cute ending, though I did get a bit frustrated with them both part way through.

Jissika is a polar bear shifter from an Inuit village in northern Canada. She left her home to escape an arranged marriage.
Shaw is the alpha of the Sheridan, Wyoming wolf pack. He owns the Full Moon Saloon.
Jissika walks into the bar during the annual Christmas Stroll celebration and asks for a job. Shaw's wolf goes crazy when she walks in and he hires her right away. They each have issues/baggage they have to deal with before they get their HEA.

This was a great shifter romance! The characters were well written and the storyline was fast paced and the plot was great! I liked the fact that these were 2 very different shifters I wasnt really expecting a polar bear with a wolf but it was sweet and they really fit well together. I loved how their personalities fit each other and how they came together in the end! It definitely made me want to read more of this series!! Great overall book, will definitely be reading more from this author in the future!
Shaw and Jissika are both running from their past. For Shaw it is what Chistmas reminds him of. For Jissika it is the planning of her future at home. As the story opens Shaw and Jissika share an intensity in their first meeting. They get each other to open up a little, but their past creep back up discoloring their time together.
I enjoyed the story and the length they are willing to go to be together. Had emotion and great supporting characters.

This is Shaw’s book – the sexy, surly owner of the Full Moon Saloon. Jissika turns up at the bar looking for a job and Shaw is only too happy to help. Their attraction is instant, but after a misunderstanding she takes off. Found myself quite frustrated at her failure to talk about her thoughts and feelings – so much could have been avoided if she’d just opened up. Loved how they had to work together to survive and were finally able to communicate with each other.

I totally loved this amazing story. I loved how Jissika was able to just go in and be one of the team, she was able to make friends so easily. Shaw was hooked as soon as he met her, it was a rocky trail, but he would do anything to keep her safe. Loved how they were able to work together, against their fears. There are so many surprises, wonderful side characters, passion, and so much more, I absolutely loved it.

This interesting book 8 in The Shifter Nation: Wild Frontier Shifters Book Series has a very steamy, standalone, shifter, second chance at love Romance with a unique, rugged and sexy alpha male and his mate who has been running from the pressures of life from her town. Will they like the surprise gift for Christmas? This intriguing, well written book has wonderful characters who are very well crafted with good histories and unique personalities. The Characters in this book are very well written with issues which they resolve and the characters grow throughout story and a must read.
I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. Shaw and Jissika have many differences but that does not change that they are mates. Jissika wants some control over her future. She has come to town and found a job working for Shaw. He has just been wanting the holidays over with but she might change his mind. They have a couple of obstacles in their way but a happy future together is in sight. I enjoyed their story. I thought that it was well written and had likable characters.

I really enjoyed this story. Shaw has ghosts from his past and doesn't decorate the pub he runs with his pack. Jissika is running from her family and the plans they have in place for her. They realise they are meant for each other but with both of their pasts its not gonna be easy for them. One misunderstanding and Jissika is off. I was a little Arghhh when she didn't talk about it and just left but was glad they were able to to gettogether and set it all right. a good read and it was so good to read about Shaw.
Jissika is a polar bear shifter that leaves her village to flee an arranged marriage, ending up in the small Wyoming town. She goes into Shaw's bar looking for a job, but his wolf has other ideas, she is his mate. He gives her a job so he can watch over her. He confuses her as he blows hot and cold.
I loved this book, the two have such chemistry, this is the first book in the series I have head and it is a standalone. But I will be going back and reading the others.

Key Ripley writes shifter romances with lots of feeling
Polar bear meets wolf who hates Christmas. She is running from an arranged marriage and ends up in Sheridan, Wyoming. He is Alpha of wolf pack and owner of the Full Moon Saloon. She worked in the saloon in her home town in far northern Canada, so when she asked if he is hiring and can fix him a drink quickly, he gives in to his attraction and hires her. Various problems arise, including a poacher and a blizzard. Well written.
Wolf shifter Shaw and polar bear shifter Jissika cross paths when she stops to ask about a job in his bar. With hurt on both sides, the first connections seem off, but soon the chemistry skyrockets. The characters are wonderful, with strength, determination in their goals, and spirit. The storyline has danger from a poacher, intense feelings, drama, surprises and much more. Loved their chemistry and how they worked together to forge ahead. The ending was terrific.

I really enjoyed this story. It had a bit of everything. Danger, fated mates, instalove, misunderstandings, hot and steamy scenes and a beautiful HEA. I loved that Shaw and Jissika worked though things together to get to the HEA. They were truly in love as well as being fared mates. With a little Christmas magic thrown in, it was a wonderful story

This was the book I have waited for. Shaw is the Alpha of his pack. A no nonsense kind of guy. who makes sure everyone around him treats women with respect. He has watched everyone around him find their mate. Christmas is a time that he doesn't appreciate until a woman blows into his bar and causes disruption in his quiet life. Jissika's instant attraction to Shaw is the last thing she wants or needs.

The author has given us a wonderful story that pulls us into the lives of Jissika and Shaw and does not let go. When Shaw first sees Jissika in his bar, he feels a connection with her. However, they each feel the need to fight their feelings because they are each haunted by the past. Will they share their secrets and be able to move forward?
