This book is filled with suspense, action, and a bit of romance. The author's writing style allows the reader to visualize the entire story. I wanted to keep reading; it was hard to put the book down.

Panga grabbed me from the first few pages till the very end.- I couldn't put it down! A riveting tale of the dream of El Norte told from multiple perspectives. The characters will linger with you long after you’ve finished the last page. I can’t wait to read Mr. Blinder’s other book!

page turner!

Great characters, suspenseful plot, and vivid descriptions of great locations for us Palos Verdes / South Bay locals! The amount of research that was done to write this book was evident.

High energy story!

Nice thriller with great description of the life that drives people to risk the ride north. The action was intense and the parts of the story tied in nicely.

This book kept me reading, wanting to read it, and enjoying it. I read the first book by this author, the Last City, and this second book was just as good if not a bit more exciting. I loved it.
