This book was good but full of facts, which seemed to be regurgitated. She was a favourite actress of mine and I loved watching her movies. This book was a bit repetitive and not a lot of new information. The book I would truly love to read is her own but import costs are very high. It is a worthwhile read if you are unfamiliar with her life. I did love the quotes from Day herself. A 3 star rating from me.

Doris Day is one of my favourite actresses of all time and Calamity Jane is my favourite film of hers. I was pleased to learn that it was Days favourite film of hers too. This book was informative but a little bit repetitive especially about her marriages. A lot of what was in this very short book I already knew about but not the full ins and outs. Short but interesting read.
