GPT-3: NLP with LLMs is a unique, pragmatic take on Generative Pre-trained Transformer 3, the famous AI language model launched by OpenAI in 2020. This model is capable of tackling a wide array of tasks, like conversation, text completion, and even coding with stunningly good performance. Since its launch, the API has powered a staggering number of applications that have now grown into full-fledged startups generating business value. This book will be a deep dive into what GPT-3 is, why it is important, what it can do, what has already been done with it, how to get access to it, and how one can build a GPT-3 powered product from scratch.
This book is for anyone who wants to understand the scope and nature of GPT-3. The book will evaluate the GPT-3 API from multiple perspectives and discuss the various components of the new, burgeoning economy enabled by GPT-3. This book will look at the influence of GPT-3 on important AI trends like creator economy, no-code, and Artificial General Intelligence and will equip the readers to structure their imaginative ideas and convert them from mere concepts to reality.
If you are someone who is looking to venture into the growing landscape of AI and feels a lot of friction because of technical prerequisites then this book is for you.
It will enable you with all the knowledge required to build your first AI product from an idea to a working business!
Well researched and thoughtful insights from the ecosystem!
Great work Shubham, can't wait for you to put out the second edition to this.
Great book if you're looking to get started with building NLP products without any background in AI. The book takes a hybrid approach by combining the cutting edge technology with potential business outcomes. An all in one guide to build, scale and sell your products with GPT-3. Many thanks to the authors!
Got my hands on this book and it has been very informative and helpful with the understanding of the AI ecosystem especially GPT-3 which makes it really easy to bring your ideas to light without any pre-requisite or technical background.
Definitely recommend if you are interested in building innovative AI products but don't know where to start. Kudos to the authors!
GPT-3 is the first generalized intelligence model that combines creativity and technology. The book walks you through several creative aspects of GPT-3 and how you can use it as a sounding board for your ideas. So, as a creator you never have to start from scratch!
Gpt-3 is an unprecedented enabler to equalising acces to building digital products. It was high time that a comprehensive resource like this book came out. Shubham and Sandra have done the hard work of curating and distilling everything at one place. You can pick the book and start building!
A very pratical approach to building AI/ML products for people without technical background. An intresting and resourceful read for all intrested in this field.
This book will introduce you to new concepts and walk you though their applications. In this book there is a whole system for you to work with. There is much to be learned from this book and it is definitely a worthwhile purchase.
A first-of-its-kind hybrid manual that explains the technical part along with the business context in the form of real-world case studies of businesses using GPT-3 across the globe!
This book is about a (model) technology that marks an important milestone in the history of AI. It's called generative pre-trained transformers (GPT), a type of large language model. It can write essays, code, and everything in between.
More specifically, it is a deep learning-based natural language processing model that is trained on a large corpus of text data in an unsupervised manner.
Only in the field of AI can a book be outdated the same year it was published. While this book is not outdated per se, it could use some additional chapters.
It's an excellent, solid book nonetheless to get you started, and work you through the model and various ways you can make use of GPT, either as a developer or non-programmer.
The book is well-structured and teaches you the basics of how to use Open-AI's Playground to create NLP products as well as how to program using the API. Nevertheless, it wasn't the book I was looking for. I want a book that focus on ChatGPT and how to best harness it in order to improve your work. I don't recommend it for persons that want to learn ChatGPT. There will come books this year that are more updated than this one, so be patient.
It is a very concise, instructive introductory book on generative AI models that is lucid even to people not from a tech background. I have learnt how to fine-tune my davinci model for my personal use cases after reading this book and brainstormed several startup ideas after reading the abundant case-studies explored in the book. Highly recommend this book!
I thought this was excellent as a primer on what's possible today, balanced with how we got here and where we're going in the short term. Not exactly a fun read, but really useful and relatively short.
It was pretty good, though it wasn't quite what I expected. It didn't cover how to make GPT LLM's but rather mostly focused on how to use the GPT-3 API and talked about the early history of its users. Also good to know of course.
Potential of the GPT-3 blew my mind. Super read for anyone trying to understand about AI - what I loved was it's not assuming one to be from a technical background to understand it's content.
