Sweetly, considerate stalker Although it’s noted that this story is connected to two previous releases, I had no problem reading it as a standalone.

I jumped in blind off the title alone. As a reader who lives for darkness, I’m so accustomed to stalker romances being unapologetic brutes. So much that it was hilarious to me that this played out like a sweet meet-cute contemporary.

Baron may have known Sunny all her life but it took seeing her after she graduated high school to really become smitten. That was two years ago, and now he’s following her across the country, from California to New York, to ensure her safety and wellbeing. Sunny has fallen on hard times and is essentially homeless. I mean yes she’s living with her cousin, but her cousins roommate is a wench. So while out looking for a Craigslist rentals, yikes, she’s met on the side of the road by a fancy black car. And when the words “Hey Sunshine” rent the air all is cutely perfect. Fast forward to a date and a new house and these two are in instalove heaven.

I had to laugh though when Baron says “that’s not for my ears. I regret listening. I’m glad I know, but I invaded her privacy, and I can’t hear more.” Because really?! You’re sitting there with a listening device and now it’s an invasion. Too ridiculous. Thankfully she loves his peeping ways and isn’t afraid to be the actress to his specially crafted, personal plays.

I wish the seven year time jump had been the bulk of the story, but again that’s just my usual reading preferences shining through. This was a cute and complete story with a HEA.

Crazy love makes no room for pride

Ah, I loved this saying from the book. Who wouldn't fall for a hero who put aside his pride and ego for love? Doing anything and everything in his power for his One; regardless of his flaws or even when things didn't work out in his favour. He knew exactly that there was only one girl for him.


Baron knew Sunny was his One since her 18th birthday. Giving her time to grow, and mostly because he's plotting on how to approach her without the fallout from Sunny's brother, two years passed. She was in university and in dire of a place to stay because of her bitch of a roommate. Seizing the moment, Baron offered his new place. Screwed his 5 step plans or any plans at all, he needed action. Immediately! Would all things work in his favour?!


I really liked how the author made all these characters. A H who made meticulous plan to seize h's heart, but wouldn't mind to take any backup plan or just improvise in time in need; whatever the lady needed. And he stepped up, big time. A h who knew how silly and possessive the H was, and let him do it simply because she love him. A balance. Two peas in the same pod. complemented each other perfectly, but it seemed unlikely for outsiders. *sigh*

Baron and Sunny captured my heart! This is a couple that have known one another since childhood. Baron was a childhood actor who gained fame and notoriety but would love to finally take a step back and live his life for him. Baron's best friends are Seth and Sebastian who are Sunny's older and protective brothers.
Now they are both adults and the torch that Baron has been carrying for Sunny is too much to bear and he needs to let her know how he feels.
Sunny is a woman that knows what she wants. She is finally leaving home to go to college and pursue her dreams and desires but what she really wants is for her long-time crush to finally notice her.
Now they are in the same city and Baron may have a few tricks up his sleeves to woo the woman of his dreams. This couple is sweet, funny, have that underlying sizzle and were fun to read!

This one ain't for me.
The girl is a sugary sweet moron and their entire connection is completely superficial and based only on lust and their physical appearance.

Nothing clicked between them.
There is zero depth in this entire mess.
And I'm not buying any of it.

See, this is why I can’t give up on this author. Authors who make me vet their books are a pain in the ass and oftentimes, with a few exceptions, i just stop reading them and give my time and money to the consistent ones who I can depend on to deliver a stress-free read.

This is one of the exceptions. She writes so well, so full of emotion and humor and she brings so much physicality into her books, that you feel as if you’re right there.

I love a stalker romance but it’s not often a stalker romance has me laughing out loud. This one does. Baron is wild, insane, crazy in love with Luna. And he’s not afraid to kick his ego to the curb so he can watch over her and do whatever is necessary to claim her. Luna is adorable, sassy, a little spicy and a lot sweet and she doesn’t let pride stop her from throwing herself into Barons arms when he opens them to her.

Safe. Hero’s past isn’t mentioned excerpt to say he’s been celibate for two years, when he realized he was in love with h. Heroine is a virgin and belongs only to the hero. No others, no cheating or abuse whatsoever. HEA with epilogue years out with babies.

Good

This was a good story. Baron was completely obsessed with Sunny. He loved her from the moment he saw her again and it nearly killed him to wait to make her his. I love a good, safe stalker romance. Baron was a total alpha but had a soft and tender side for his Sunny. I really did want to smack her brother.

Completely safe. No ow drama, h gets hit on at work and a male coworker stands up for her making H jealous. It was all innocent, nothing happened. H has been celibate for years and h is a virgin. No abuse.

what I liked about this book is this quote : “You must have known. I know I’m a decent actor, but I can’t act around you. And I’m done pretending I’m not your slave.”

The rest was pretty meeh although the concept was good, brothers best friend, stalker-ish vibes from Baron, She had a crush on him but when he was her as an adult he fell harder.

This book was short, Love at first sight, Age Gap, Your mine trope, Some steamy bits. Hero taking care of his woman, Virgin Trope and a happy ending.. These books are wrote by different authors in this series.. [ I give this book 3.5 stars]

This book Follows Baron and Sunny's story.. I enjoyed this book and i am looking forward to the rest of the book in the series..

Baron is an actor, He is sweet, funny, grumpy, Caring and Kind, He feels lonely sometimes
because he does not have time for himself so he takes a break from work so he can be close to the woman he loves, he works a lot, likes reading and watching out for Sunny from the shadows to keep her safe, He has a couple of best friends called Seth, Sebastian & Roman, He knows what he wants and that's sunny so he is not going to let anyone stand in his way, He has loved Sunny for years

Sunny is a Artist, She has always loved art and wanted to be an artist so she got a Scholarship
to study art in new York, She is sweet, kind, and caring, She likes where she lives now away from her family and also she gets to learn more about art but she has to find a new place to live because her brother will not help to pay sunny to get a new place because her brother thinks by doing this she will have to come home, It was sweet when Baron said she could have a room at his place and that made her happy, She was staying with her cousin, She has been in love with Baron for years

Its sad to see what her brother Sebastian puts her through because he had a fight with Baron
because he found out that baron wants to be with Sunny and Sebastian does not want that to happen so he is trying everything to make sunny come home so he can watch over her.. I think her brothers should let their sister think for herself..

Baron has been an actor from an early age. Once he was old enough to be tutored his mom hired a homeschool teacher who also home schooled her boys, Seth and Sebastian. They grew up together so when Baron became someone needing protection, he hired the brothers to be his bodyguards. Baron was always protected even his heart. There was one person he knew he couldn't have but wanted was the boy's younger sister, Sunny. So, he came up with a plan. To step back from acting, buy a house in NYC & kind of stalk her. One day while she was out with Summer looking for a new apartment, Baron just happened to be near her when he stopped and asked if the wanted a ride. Then Baron found out her one brother stopped buying for her rent and she needed something and quick. So, he suggested she move in with him in one of his guest rooms. After thinking about it and getting nagged by Summer. She moved in but that was only the beginning. Baron also rented the place across the listening in, he heard she actually had a crush on Baron.
This now changed everything, so Baron made a move. He asked her on a date so he could let her know exactly how he felt.
Things moved quickly once his feelings were out in the open. She told him her feelings as well. Then while she was working, Sebastian came to her job and demanded she leave NY. Overhearing this Baron immediately went in there and whisked her out of there. Once they three of them were outside, Baron asked what is problem was? Sunny told him she was happy, and he needed to leave her love life alone.
After that day, the two of them were in separable, they got married, had a couple of kids and after seven years they are still happy and only growing stronger.

She is his perfect ray of sunshine that lights up his world and parts the dark clouds

Stalked by my Roommate by Matilda Martel is part of the Shacked Up Love series. This wildly fun, sizzling hot and way OTT insta-lust/love is a great read. The story is about Baron Caulfield and Sunny Luna. Baron is a movie star with started when he was a child. As he needed a tutor while he was on set had the same one, a wonderful woman who also brought her twin sons and taught them all at the same time. Baron became best friends with Sebastian and Seth Luna, who are Sunny's older brothers. Baron had not seen Sunny for several years until her eighteenth birthday party, and then he was done and dusted falling instantly for her. Sure he was older and was best friends with her brothers, was part of their family but still...the heart wants what it wants and his wants Sunny. Luckily for him Sunny also wants him, as she has had a crush on him since she was a young girl. So when Sunny leaves after her birthday for NYC to go to college Baron comes up with a plan to also move to NYC and start to "bump" into Sunny and then start to woo her. But Baron takes things further as he starts to stalk her, even hiring someone to follow her and watch her when he is not there. Yep he is obsessed but he is a man in love for the first time in his life, and he knows it will be his last. So when Sunny ends up almost homeless Baron offers her a floor in his newly purchased townhouse in the city. They may be separated by a floor but that will not keep them apart for long.

I really enjoyed this well written book. The story-line is a fabulous mix of humor, sexy hot passion and characters that keep you engaged and flipping the pages to see just what will happen next.

Baron and Sunny . . .

Baron and Sunny seemed like they were always meant to be together. They knew each other for a long time. Baron was an actor in his childhood and was tutored together with Sunny’s brothers, Seth and Sebastian, so they practically grew up together. They now work for him.

Now adults, Baron is strongly attracted to Sunny but didn’t say anything because of her over-protective brothers and an age gap. But when she goes away for college, he is determined to stay close and keep her safe. He goes a bit too far, actually, but he does take care of her, moving from California to New York and monitoring everything going on. When her brother demands that she must come home, will Baron stand up for her? Will she stand up for herself and point out she is no longer a child? Do Baron and Sunny have a HEA to look forward to when they let each other know how they feel, or will they let her brothers dictate her life?

Sweet, cute, and a little OTT.
Baron and Sunny are mutually infatuated with each other but don’t know it. Sunny is ten years younger than Baron, who is a world famous movie star, and is striking out on her own in NYC to attend art school. Baron can’t handle being away from her much longer and screw what her brothers think because he knows his intentions are real, so he buys a brownstone house in Greenwich. Spoiler it’s only down the road from where Sunny is attending school and is supposedly renting a place. Baron soon finds out that Sunny doesn’t in fact have a place to stay due to one of her brothers stopping his contribution toward the rent. It’s his perfect opportunity to invite her to be his roommate, and watch her every move including listening to her from a rented office space across from the coffee shop she works at.
There were funny scenes and quotes from Baron and Sunny’s cousin Summer. I would consider reading another book by this author.

This book is a part of the Shacked Up Love series and focuses on Baron and Sunny. Baron is a very well known actor who has been completely, head over heels in love with his best friend's little sister for 2 years. When Sunny moves to NYC for college, Baron feels completely lost without her and decides to get his ducks in a row and secure their future in NYC. When the opportunity for Sunny to live with Baron pops up, he jumps on it and works to get her to fall in love with him too. Little does he know that Sunny has been in love with him for most of her life. Baron is seriously such a great OTT hero. I was really curious about him in Happenstance and was so glad to get his story! Now I am eagerly awaiting Roman and Summer’s story. This was a fantastic addition to the series!

Baron is out of control in the best way possible! He’s lost his ever loving mind and his best friend’s little sister, is to blame!

Baron has known Sunny all her life but it’s not until his twenty eighth birthday, does he fall madly in love with her. His need for her is all consuming and his crazy, possessive side takes over. Watching him stalk her was sexy AF and the best part was she knew all about it and was happy to be the object of his obsession. If you love crazy, over the top heroes and sassy young heroines then this is definitely the perfect book for you!

Baron, the male lead, has wanted Sunny, the female lead, for ten years but she’s his best friends’ sister. When he finds she’s moving to New York for college, he buys a house near the university. Then, when he realises her accommodation hasn’t worked out, he offers her a room. Now he needs to convince her he’s serious about wanting a lifetime with her because, whilst she desperately wants it, she doesn’t believe he means it…

This short story is dual POV, well written, and a cute tale about transforming a friendship into something more. I enjoyed the characters, especially Sunny’s willingness to push back against everyone who wanted her to follow their wishes.

Baron and Sunny were great characters. Sunny has known Baron for years because of his friendship with her very overprotective brothers. Baron is an actor and both Seth and Sebastian (Sunny's brohers) work for him. Baron has always kept his feelings for Sunny from them knowing that they would not approve of Baron and Sunny together. Sunny has had a crush on Baron for quite some time. Well, the two are tired of hiding their feelings from each other and give into them. Baron goes so far as to moving to the city Sunny is going to college. Far from her overbearing and bossy brothers. Baron has decided he needs to be closer to Sunny to make sure she is ok. As far as he is concerned Sunny is his everything and he will stop at nothing to let her know exactly how he feels. This is a very well written and entertaining book I love the chemistry between them. Wonderful HEA.

I really liked this story. It was entertaining and enjoyable. The characters were interesting and likable. I wanted to know more about Sebastian and Seth and their reaction to the relationship but the little bit we got was good. Summer was a wonderfully supportive cousin that wasn't afraid to kick Sunny in the pants to get Sunny to do what she wants. Baron and Sunny were too much. They were funny and too much. Baron was just a tiny bit of a stalker (hahaha!) as he wanted to know everything that was happening with Sunny. Sunny wanted to be with Baron but thought that he wouldn't or couldn't be interested in her. I loved their happily ever after. I recommend reading this book.

This was a short read and super enjoyable. Baron is a movie star that has had his eye on Sunny for a couple of years. Her brothers work for him and are his best friends. Sunny has had a crush on Baron forever, but she's too young for him and knows he would never go for her. He moves to New York to keep an eye on Sunny and get's more than he bargains for.

This was cute; I loved Baron and how sweet he was with Sunny. Sunny was adorable, and I enjoyed them together. I didn't love that there was no real resolution with her brothers; it was a little glossed over. I wanted more closure since that was a prominent theme within the book.

I absolutely loved the novella. Baron the "roommate" who from what everybody seemed to assume only showed emotion when acting was very much in love with Sunny from when he first saw her after many years. I just have too say that I absolutely loved his character and the way that he considered Sunny as his priority and what was best for her despite his very strong feelings. The way the Baron absolutely changed his whole life in order to further pursuit Sunny genuinely had me swooning the whole time. Another appeal of this novel was the age gap trope which I am a complete sucker for. I would 100% recommend reading this of you're looking for some quick insta-love spice.

Baron started acting at a young age, he had very few friends, the Luna brothers, Sebastian and Seth. They were like the brothers he never had, they always had his back and he theirs. He has loved their younger sister for some time. He has never acted on it, when Seth told his brother how Baron felt about her this put his friendship in jeopardy.

Sunny goes to New York to study art and to get away from her brother’s constant supervision. Baron feels now is the time to claim his girl, her buys a how near the college, invites her to stay with him when she is having a hard time finding a place she can afford. It does not take long before he is professing his love and laying all on the line.

Baron reconnects with the family that were part of his childhood while working on films. Sunny is the ten year younger sister of the twins he felt a brotherhood toward and it is her 18th birthday party. skyrockets ignite for both of them. When she chooses NYU for college, Baron gets a townhouse and asks her to share when her living situation goes wrong. Can they stay a floor apart? Loved the characters, their backstories and banter. The tension of what her brothers will do and the entertaining situations keep turning the pages quickly. Totally enjoyed the storyline and the ending. Hope to read more by this author soon.

wow just fuckin wow. this book me while to read this since i keep forgot that i had this on my current reading but i finally picked it up to read. this book was insanely good to read. it's crazy to think that baron was stalking sunny this whole time. it's crazy that sebastian didn't support them dating but i'm glad sunny and baron made it work. it's insane to know they were both meant to be. the spice level in this book was very good like holy fuck soo much hotness in this book. i really want to know more about baron and sunny as they conquer their adventures together. overall such a good book to read.

Baron (H29), a well-known movie star, has been crushing on his friends' younger sister, Sunny (h19), for several years, and when she wants to move to NYC he's more than happy to let her move into his house in the city - the house that he bought so that he could be near to her school. Yes, Baron is a mite possessive when it comes to Sunny, from the house to hiring an investigator to surveil and protect her while's she's at work. Sunny has been crushing on Baron too and when she moves in, their relationship takes off into something very hot and steamy. A hot quickie novella.

I have been eagerly awaiting Baron and Sunny's story and it was just too cute for words. Baron is desperate to be close to Sunny. Falling in love with your best friends' sister wasn't the best idea. But you can't fight fate. Now she has moved to New York and its the perfect opportunity to get her to fall in love with him. He is adorably determined/obsessed with the woman and he pulls out all the stops to get her to move in with him. Delightful and charming, I couldn't put it down! 5 stars for Sunny and Baron!

This is a cute story. Baron has known Sunny for a long time. Then she graduates from high school and Baron sees her and knows he has to have her. He stalks her and follows her to New York. They end up living together. The chemistry is there and they do fit each other. He is older and has been warned off her by her two older brothers. Baron just has to show her how good they can be together. Great and entertaining story.

Baron has loved Sunny for a long time. He moves to be close to Sunny his best friends sister. Sunny is thrilled that Baron is there and when she says that she needs a place to stay Baron is the first to offer his house. Sunny has crushed on Baron her whole life. Finally they have a chance to be together and tell each other their secret desires. Really sweet story and part of the Shacked Up Serie. I enjoyed the story very much.

ONE THING I LOVED THAT THE AUTHOR CALLED US OUT ON BEING LOST IN THE FLEETING DIGITAL WORLD THROUGH THE EYES OF HARDWORKING ARTISTS. THIS IS ONE OF THE REASONS WHY I LOVE READING BOOKS, I REMEMBER TO SAVOR SOMEONES HARDWORK & GET TO ESCAPE THE CLUTCHES OF SOCIAL MEDIA AT THE SAME TIME

Stalked by my Roommate (Shacked Up Love) by Matilda Martel. Great lunchtime escape you can read in one sitting filled with just enough drama, heat, and emotion to tide you over. I enjoyed this story and thought Baron and Summer made a great match and eventually everyone sees the light that these two are meant to be.
