The Devil You Know is a shifter MM romance, with a fed up demon, a determined shifter, nosy family, and some burn the sheets sexy times.
What can I say about me? I have two boys who keep me on my toes and a cat who adopted us. She walked in one day and hasn’t left. We might be getting a dog too. Who knows?
I love to read about men in love. Flawed, but strong men, who need some TLC and find their happy ending. I love to write about those same type of men too, sometimes with added kink! I also love to read horrors, thrillers and crime novels.
When I’m not trying to keep my boys in line, or writing about hot sexy men, I like to work on my allotment. I also like to read, to take walks in the countryside, and visit historical places. Recently, we went to Stonehenge and Avebury. It was an amazing experience.

I enjoyed this story around the relationship between Indy and Balor and the unmasking of the traitor (with the subsequent confrontation). I did not, however, enjoy the ending as I felt there was a cliffhanger and I have no idea how to find out what happens next. I loved Balor and that he did his best to make Indy squirm. I adore the Dubois family members and their reaction to the news of Indy's secret mate. Easy to read and feel This was an MM story with mature content.
What about them having kids? And what about him lying to his family? The only one he really made up with was Vir. And I can't really wrap my head around why he kept Balor a secret, and for 5 years? Wouldn't the mate pull have made that near impossible? And didn't they already know that Maggie was the spy from the last book? Why did they need Balor to prove it, instead of just getting the answers from her? It def added to the overall story but it felt very rushed and I was left with more questions then I started with. I'm starting to think that the author is just grasping a straws so she has a way to wrap everything up eventually. I mean a demon, really? not that its not believable that they exist but that nothing has been mentioned about them in any previous book which too me shows poor planning. Ill prob read the next book because I really want to know how this ends but I'm going to be honest and say I'm nowhere near as excited as I was three books ago.
I will admit I have not read this series but I thought the blurb sounded really interesting and I did really like the characters especially Balor. The storyline was interesting and kept my attention. I will probably go back and read this series from the beginning.
