We enjoyed reading this over Advent. It included a devotional, a prayer and had a suggestion for a Christmas song to listen to. This is why we celebrate Christmas and kept us focused on Christ.

Wonderful

The book is precise and to the point. It brings us to a greater understanding of what Christmas celebration is really is, and thus helps us appreciate it even more.

Highly recommend.

Simple but profound

If you’re looking for an advent devotional that doesn’t add a big time commitment to your daily devotions during the month of December, this is it. And it’s simple enough to be shared with your littles, but each day has a profound Biblical principal well worth your grownup mind and spirit pondering on throughout your busy day. I have also discovered a few new songs to add to my Christmas playlist because of the thoughtful sing selections at the end of each day’s reading!

Outstanding!

This month's reading challenge for my online book club was to read a book with red and green on the cover. So glad I discovered this little gem! Each day for the month of December talks about a piece of the Christmas story. There's a bonus Christmas song link to listen to each day. This would be a great book to use for family devotions to bring the Christmas spirit home. I'm planning to make this an annual tradition. I look forward to reading more books by this author.
