Author states "Unfortunately, I find I am unable to finish this series as I had originally hoped to. It pains me deeply everytime I see new hatred and bigotry voiced by JKR, which just seems to be happening at an increased pace. It has killed my will to write anything within the universe. I am a nonbinary person and I just cannot see past this for myself. I applaud those that continue to carve their own ways through the fandom and claim it as a better, safer, more accepting place. I wish you all the best for being able to do what I cannot."
