All team-ups, all the time! Spider-Man and Silk have a short, complicated history — but they’ve got to put it behind them fast when they’re thrown back in time to shortly before they get their spider-powers! Can Peter and Cindy let bygones be bygones, stop a sinister threat to reality as they know it, and avoid accidentally wiping out the moment that gave them their amazing abilities? Then, Spider-Woman takes a mentor role to Silk and Earth-65’s “Spider-Gwen” Stacy, and the trio enjoy a brunch break in Gwen’s home dimension. But when nefarious Earth-65 spy organization S.I.L.K. and its leader — a certain Cindy Moon — notice the interdimensional interlopers, everything quickly goes wrong for the three Spider-Women!
Volume 1 had the origin and early stories of Silk.. Volume 2 collects ...a digital comic and a team up miniseries (Spider-Gwen, Silk, and Spider-Woman)?
If you're trying to get more about the character, the first collection is slightly stronger in the details. This book has a couple fun parallel universe and time travels stories, but nothing groundbreaking.
Bonus: Doctor....Octopus? Bonus Bonus: Cindy Moon agent of S.I.L.K. really needs an eyepatch
I love Silk so much. It's not as strong as the first volume. Wish they would let Silk get back to doing her own thing rather than crossovers. The spider women crossover was fun, though. Evil Earth 65 Cindy Moon does things to me.
Already read the Spider-Women crossover before, but it's still pretty awesome. SpiderFly was a fun journey into the past with Uncle Ben. Doesn't add too much to the Silk specific story though.
This one was lots of fun. I liked that we got to see so many other characters. I didn't like it quite as much as the first one though. Hopefully I can get ahold of volume three.
