원작의 본 무대에는 등장하지 않았던 러드나인 이엘스 공작.
악녀인 나와 어울리지 않는 완벽한 그를 편히 보내주려고(?) 했는데...

러드나인이 우산 아래에서 희미하게 웃었다.
“아직도, 여전히 황태자 전하가 그리 좋습니까?”
그건 원작 남주를 짝사랑하던 이본의 마음인데... 왜 계속 오해하지?
애절한 표정과 집착으로 가득한 눈빛에 절로 뒷걸음을 쳤고, 우산을 벗어난 내 어깨가 사정없이 젖었다.
그러자 그가 재빨리 내 허리를 감싸 안고 끌어당겼다.
가까운 거리에서 얽히는 숨소리가 빗소리보다 크게 고막을 두들긴다.
그가 귓가에 나지막이 속삭였다.
“아직도 부족하다니, 제가 더 노력해야겠네요.”
악녀의 포지션에서 조용히 살아가려 했으나, 너무 많은 게 변해 버렸다.

A woman who regrets about her rough life gets her wish and transmigrates into a villainess with a silver spoon. Only Yvonne Argenthoz has much more to worry about than staying away from the main couple (Crown Prince Adrian Berbent and his girl Cordelia Mare) on her path to avoid a bad ending. Yvonne faces vicious rumors, a hostile public, and an empty wallet. She can’t access her magical powers, there are gaps in her memories, and her family starts to meddle in her love life. Yvonne leans into her Korean office worker skills and knowledge of future events to try and resolve her issues but discovers a dark conspiracy in the palace that might bring about the apocalypse.
Another long ro-fan which leans into exaggerated characters for amusement. Everyone tends to try to keep their issues secretive and assume the worst of others. For example, everyone immediately notices the changes in personality for our transmigrated soul, but her family thinks she is having a psychotic break while the prince is sure she is scheming a new brand of evil. Also, when a decision is made it is fully committed to immediately. Call in a 50 year debt for a blind date, travel 100 miles to confront miners, become a monster to save the world. Immediately. The romance is a bit thin in the sense that our male lead is all sugar to Yvonne immediately as he tries to violently control her ‘fish pond.’ The really do a lot for each other but not always intentionally. It is also interesting that even the side players admit that our leads are more extreme in their interpretations and actions than normal people. This leads to many misunderstandings and unnecessary complications. This intensified (lighthearted) drama is a juxtaposition to the plot elements which tend to be dark (curses, terrorism, assassination, leprosy, etc.). The overall narrative is good but there are some heavy flaws in execution. First while it is nice that multiple events are happening at once the jumping back and forth leads to a lot of repeated facts/scenarios and a loss of built tension. The tone is uneven. Plot requires the lead be a genius in one scene and an idiot in the next. Most of the intentions are kept in the translation to a manhwa but the details of the story get reshuffled; character roles or solutions are altered slightly as it progresses.

Leí este manhwa esperando una historia de romance, pero este pecó de "mucha política y conspiración, poca construcción de romance"
Aunque Rub hizo estremecer mi corazón, su relación con Ivonne fue muy pobre en evolución y no me inspira a seguir con la historia.
