This book was absolutely horrible, there is no other way to describe this…if I could I’d give this zero stars I would!

Here are my reasons why:

-David is such an idiot just like no thanks, pls throw him out the window ( although I did feel a bit bad for him at the end…but just a bit ). He’s arrogant and egotistical and just EWWWWW 💩. He also happens to be dumb with no brain at all and a cry baby. Then he goes around social media posting crap about other people and he’s surprised that someone is against him? How can a person be so full of himself?!? Yeah no David’s a -100000000000000000000000000…/0 FR 😒 DISGUSTANG 🙄🤢

-I got aggressive from his actions and his way of thinking, ( like who is this level of an imbecile? Yeah David, no one can compete with your dumbness ) I LITERALLY flung this stupid book across the room puh 😮‍💨

-Marie. JUST WHY YOU LITERALLY JUST BROKE UP WITH YOUR BF AND JUST SECONDS AFTER YOU GET TOGETHER WITH STUPID SLIMY CRUSTY DAVID? Oh hell to da nah, I’m really pitying Marie. Yeah Marie, worst decision of your life am I right?

-The plot twist with Linus being Schillergirl was just not surprising at all fr.

All in all, I WOULD NOT recommend just don’t read this trust me…

I needed to read it for school. It's just really bad. I hate my German teacher for using it ( I don't like him anyways). It's a German book and it's hopefully not translated into other languages. The main character is an arrogant, popular boy, who gets together with a girl on the same day she left her boyfriend because of him. David is just so dumb and starts yelling at other people and so on. He also loves posting dumb, bad things on FACEBOOK. Afterwards he got bullied by his classmates, which dunked him into a toilet 🚽 and half killed him. All in all David is a real big jerk. I totally don't recommend reading this book. If you have to read it in school. I'm really sorry for you!

Needed to read it for school…

Let me just say…good idea but not so ideal execution.


The main character wasn’t likeable at all:
-he was so annoying
-he was 12 ½ years old and was worrying about the fact that he didn’t have a girlfriend or his first kiss yet (he does get a girlfriend later on but he was just a rebound) instead of academic or athletic success
-he is a big bully and doesn’t think that he’s carrying any fault


At the end he gets beaten up by his classmates because he is a bully (which he kind of deserved) but the classmates didn’t need to deal with police or school or anything which is unrealistic.


Anyway, I didn’t like the book already from the beginning and needed to drag myself through it since it was for school.

Mein Kind hat "Vernetzt gehetzt" als Schullektüre bekommen. Ich als neugieriges Muttertier musste natürlich auch meine Nase mal reinhalten und die Lehrerin bekommt davon einen großen Applaus für ihre Auswahl.

Thema Cybermobbing ist ja leider immer aktuell und genau darum geht es in diesem Buch.

Selbst mein Kind hat kopfschüttelnd diese Geschichte gelesen. Er hatte fleißig mit mir gerätselt und nach möglichen Motiven gesucht.
