I don't think I've had as much fun reviewing a book as I have this one! I put it to the test for a week's worth of meals and you can see the outcome of this over on my insta @beth_and_books

My favourite thing about my experience eating meals from the book all week was how easy and accessable the meals were. Often healthy meals cost a tonne of money in ingredients, but I found most ingredients to these recipes already in the cupboard 👏

There's definitely some favourite meals, that Tuscan Sausage Pasta... I actually said "wow" after I had my first bite 🥰🍝 That's one defs staying in rotation! I also loved how each recipe was broken down by calories (super helpful for tracking!) and that Venn diagram (as seen at bottom of pic 5) was really cool - it showed you the balance of health to taste factor 😋

Honestly, will be using this again for sure and give it a solid 4.5 stars!! To make it five stars I want pictures for every recipe please haha... Picky I know, but I eat with my eyes 👀

Seems like a money grab. I flipped through this and found nothing I really wanted to make, nothing that seemed particularly innovative, and nothing that was well written. I had an America's Test Kitchen book at the same time and the difference in the quality of the directions is stark. The World's Fittest Cookbook does not seem to have been written for people to actually use as an aid to cooking.

As with everything Ross Edgley produces I am impressed with this cookbook. I like the recipes and the ideas that he has. Some of the recipes are a little outside what I would make (being a person who doesn't do well with seafood). Either way I took a lot of inspiration from the recipes in this book and I am excited to keep making new items!

Not accurate with the recipes. They are hit and miss. The puddings/treats are particularly bad as they don’t come out when using the measurements displayed in the book - brookies aren’t good at all. Shame. Had high hopes of this book. I’ll buy Lance Armstrong’s autobiography instead.

How refreshing to find a fitness cookbook where there is an emphasis on flavour and texture rather than just the macros. Top book and a great compliment to his other book, Blueprint

The recipes are very good and would satisfy cravings. However, the ingredients listed can be quite expensive and not great for a person on a budget.
