Isabella just turned eighteen and her father gives her to marry an older man. She doesn’t want to do it but she has no choice. On the day he is going to try and have sex with her she gets saved by Maddox. They see each other and there is instant attraction. Isabella is a mafia princess and he’s a hitman. How can this work? Great characters and storyline Highly recommended Awesome book. Short, Dark, and Spicy so many twists and turns.

Book 1- Maddock finds himself caught between his fathers ever growing need for power and his allegiance to the man who is King of them all, a King who tasks him woth the impossible, for a seat in his small court. Isabella knows who her father is and what power he holds but she never expected him to throw her to the wolves as an alliance. Her only saving grace comes woth the unexpected. This is book one and ends in a cliffhanger the story is fast paced and to the point of Introducing the main characters with a bit of back ground. Well written and has peaked interest in wanting to see how the story plays out.

book 2- With Isabella back with her father, the King, she fears she'll never get to leave the criminal life, especially when she notices Maddox is following her. Maddox is drawn to Isabella, she makes him feel things, he doesnt fully understand. Between the Kings and his fathers tasks, Maddox soon finds himself welcomed into the Kings Close circle when the King announces Isabella is to be married, but to whom this time? This is book 2 in the series, and is well written and paced, short but holds your attention and leaves you needing more!

book3-Isabella's Father arranges a marriage between her and Maddox so that they will produce his next heir, whilst Isabella refuses to submit she decides to play along for a chance to gain her freedom later. Maddox struggles with the idea of becoming the Kings Heir as much as his feelings for Isabella. But something feels wrong, the King rushing forward with their wedding, is there more than meets the eye? Either way Maddox will do anything to protect Isabella whether she wants him to or not. Well written book 3 in the series building up to the big day between Maddox and Isabelle that ends in a bang!

Book 1...LOVED this fairly quick page turner, no surprise you'll be demanding the next book as this author loves to keep you on the hook. A dark mafia story which I won't detail but assure you it's compelling & if you can keep up with the twists & turns be sure to hang on tight.
Book 2... We learn a little more about Isabelle & Maddox, she still wants to escape her life as a Mafia King's pawn. Maddox just wants to protect her & claim her for himself but the latter could get him killed. The King's got his own agenda.
Book 3...This will keep you on the edge of your seat & just when you think things are a bit more comfortable something you could never have imagined happens.
Book 4...This book should come with a warning if you're a nail biter, hair puller or prone to tension headaches. This remarkable author drags you in & spits you out on repeat with her compelling stories.
Book 5...I really wasn't quite ready to say goodbye to the main characters who I came to admire & respect. Isabella in particular should have been broken but she was remarkably strong & resilient. Maddox as King had to step up, I wasn't convinced the other families would come through for him but guns blazing, literally, they followed his orders. I never liked his father but I didn't see his betrayal coming. A complex & riveting page turner that will keep you glued to your seat & send you on a rollercoaster of heart pumping emotions.

I absolutely loved this whole series, it hooks you from the beginning and doesn’t let you go till the end, so awesome.
Book 1: This is a fast start to what looks like will be an exciting installment series. Isabella learns so much, hopefully it’ll help her in the future. Maddox seems do be on bad a**. I can’t wait to see what happens next.
Book 2: Oh, wow, so many surprises, I totally can’t believe Isabella’s father. Maddox must have ice running through his veins, I don’t see how he can did what he does so calmly. I sure hope Isabella is able to do what she is trying to do.
Book 3: Oh, wow, if you think the drama couldn’t get any thicker, you’d be so wrong. Will Maddox and Isabella stick with it or will it blow up all around them. I can’t wait to find out what comes next.
Book 4: This author really has a way with cliffhangers, it’s like wow, give me the next book. What’s going to happen with Isabella? What will happen with Maddox’s confession? I can’t wait for the next one to find out.
Book 5: This installment starts with so much action. Isabella is so strong, she does what needs to be done to protect those she loves. The action starts from page one and stays with you throughout this awesome ending. I very much enjoyed what they did with their lives, I was hoping something like that would happen, there for a bit I thought it would go another way. Loved the epilogue..

I actually own each one of these separately so why get the box well because I can find them in one place to re-read when wanted . Each fantastic book reads as standalone books but why just read one when you can start at the beginning and keep reading through the series it won’t be a waste of time. The Alphas and the queens that bring them to their knees (literally). Buckle up this is one wild ride there are twists & turns, suspense, action, love what more could you ask for. Starting with an arranged marriage with Isabella her father using her as a pawn of course. The struggles Maddox and Isabella go through with their mafia families their struggle for happiness. Maddox will do what it takes to keep her safe and happy something she has never had as usual. We see just how strong the two of them are together but Isabella has a strength like none other with the hurdler thrown her way, but will they get their happiness once the ride ends?

I enjoyed this series, though for a name like potent desire, it sure is a slow burn. The story is great, though. I really liked the internal conflict that both of the main characters had to face and address before they could move forward. This series tells more about the growth and development of the characters and them coming to realize what they really want out of everything the world has to offer, and then doing what it takes to make that happen.

To me, this story was better than other books by Ms. Wolf, because it focused not just on the things that happened, and the hurts and betrayals each character had to face, but also on the kind of growth and maturity that should come with “growing up”. For me, this made the story a more fulfilling adventure to read about. I found something great in this series, so I absolutely recommend it.

Mafia Romance Complete Series

This five part set is the complete Potent Desire Series in one compilation. This is the way to go with this series because as soon as you finish one book, you'll want to jump right into the next until you finish the whole 5-part series. This Mafia romance is full of twists, action, thrill, romance, and suspense. The main characters, Isabella and Maddox explore their growing feelings for each just as they navigate the dangerous world surrounding their Mafia families. This series was very intriguing and keeps you invested through to the end. Well done and highly recommended, especially if you like Mafia romances.

Author Teresa Wolf knows how to entertain her readers that is for sure, and this is yet another highly entertaining book. Great characters from our primary lead male, Maddox and to our lead female of Isabella and even the secondary characters of the different Mafia families. One character I would like to have heard more about was Dominic, Isabella's friend and bodyguard and how he faired in the big event that united three families to unite...
Fantastic mixture of romance, romantic sexual tensions, mystery of 'whodunit as well as the whole Mafia allegiance of loyalty to the Boss. Good to see how both Maddox and Isabella found their true happiness in the end.

The series follows Isabella, a woman trying to get out of her father, the King's, hold, and Maddox, a man drawn to Isabella and will do anything to keep her. The pair go on an unbelievable journey together as they work.to end the Kings reign, and form a relationship that neither expected.

This series is short and spicy and worth the read. I greatly enjoyed this series and read it in one sitting. Isabella is fiercely independent and I loved how her and Maddox's character changed throughout the series.

The story was interesting, but became a little repetitive after book two. I think if this was done in one book instead of 5 separate ones, then they story may have flowed a little better and been less repetitious.

I really enjoyed the angst and the internal dialogue of Maddox and Isabella.

Maddox understood who he was and how he was created, which most have no idea about themselves...and I have to say that it was refreshing to see that in Maddox from the gate.

Isabella was young and I understood her issue with Vik but I had a an issue with her issue with Maddox especially with her attraction to him.

I enjoyed the story however it seemed a little repetitive in Book 3 and 4 however I understood the need to get the information needed to remind of the beginning cause it picked up speed.

I love Teresa Wolf's books so this is definitely a yes to read.

This collection is everything you could want in a dark mafia romance. The daughter of “The King” and a man who occasionally works for her father. He develops an obsession for her and will do anything to be with her. Maddox is a man that doesn’t know what love is but will try to understand so he can be what Isabella deserves. This book has all the feels with its unexpected twists, it’s dark elements, intense heat combined with a love that can only come from two imperfect people who are perfect for each other. The ending is fantastic, made even more so by the journey that it takes to get there. I enjoyed every moment of this series and highly recommend this to be your next read!!

The book is complete five part Potent Desire series. This is the best way for me to read serial, it is better for me to binge than to wait for the next installment. Isabella and Maddox have known each other all their lives due to their family's business involvement. The first time Maddox sees her as a grown woman, it is to save her from an unwanted husband.

There is just what you are looking for in a Mafia series, including Familia betrayal. This kept me involved thru the very end.

This is the complete boxset that tells us the story of Isabelle and Maddox.
Action-packed page-turner, this boxset has amazing characters who grow up as they try to come to their own when they realize they are pawns in the hands of their fathers.
This boxset has great characters, lots of action, and lots of heat.
And the best part is, you can read it all in one go, instead of having to wait for the next book as each cliffhanger ends the previous installment.
I recommend this series.

This is the complete series, all five books. Isabella was used by her father as a pawn to form alliances and now that she is 18, he plans to auction her off to the highest bidder. Maddox falls for Isabella and wants her to be his but that could get him killed and he needs to protect Isabella even if she wants to run. Can he keep her safe? Will she fall for him? Fast-paced read with loads of drama, suspense and twists and turns. Great characters with lots of depth and a fast-paced and steamy dark/mafia read. I liked it.

Not bad

I am glad that this set had some suspense to it. It was also fast reading. I was a little disappointed with Maddox I would have pictured him more as an alpha than just a doer. Can't always get what we wish for I guess. I know Isabella was young but she was all over the place. I am just glad she got away from that old pervert. I do applaud her for killing the man who killed her father and kidnapped her. Just to let you know in many places some words were left out. Thank you

I have really enjoyed reading this mafia love story with all its twists and turns. I fell in love with Maddox and watched him change meeting Isabella. He was a thug but very loyal to his boss. Isabella was a strong character and it was enjoyable watching her change also. A very good storyline which kept me intrigued and I did not see the betrayal coming. A super story with great characters and a must read book.

Maddox finds Isabella to be not the pampered princess he thought and he vows to protect her. This is a wonderful set of stories that take Isabella and Maddox through their journey. This might be a 5 book boxed set, but it's only about 250 pages. This fast, action packed steamy read. Isabella, a mafia princess, is forced into an arranged marriage when she turns 18. Maddox is attarcted to Isabella and is determined to keep her safe and make their marriage real. It has a lot packed into this boxed set and with this available to read with your Kindle Unlimited subscription. Solid read.

Good Read

I enjoyed these books. They were fun and had a great story line. The characters were well developed and I enjoyed them. I do think that there could have been more details in the story plot. These books jump quickly into the next scenes with little to no lead up to them. This is a short and fun read though. The only questions I was left with are who takes over Hannibal and what happens to Maddox's brothers and sister?

I’m glad that I continued on with the Stalker Villains series, as I enjoyed this story much more than Deep Immersion. This installment follows Isabella (FMC) and Maddox (MMC). Isabella is a mafia princess who doesn’t know the full extent of her father, the King’s, scheming to ensure that his family and legacy stays on top. Maddox is from a family who is lower on the food chain and he has been his father’s lapdog and is no stranger to getting his hands dirty. Maddox does not have ambitions to be a top dog, though his father does.

Maddox has caught the eye of the King and is brought into the fold by completing a few special jobs for Isabella’s dad. Maddox is taken by Isabella’s beauty and his interactions and conversations throw him off guard and cause him to feel things he didn’t think he was capable of.

This mafia romance is more a slow-burn (not heavy on the spice), enemies-to-lovers romance in which the MMC falls first. This story was well-written with characters that had depth, there was a lot of action, and it’s a whirlwind that kept you on your toes!

This book appealed to me when I read the blurb, but I was turned off from the first page. The H is doing the deed with OW.

I tried to push past it, but I couldn't finish the box set. I made it to the third book but it just didn't appeal to me at all. I usually love stuff by this author! One star.
