"You're mine now, Lizzy. Forever and always."
I really liked this series. It has action, romance, drama, intrigue, and tons of spice! Book two was a little boring for me but it picked back up in book three. I recommend it if you like shorter, dark mafia romances.

Lizzy has been sold to Charles to repay her father's debts, and it may not be all that bad.
I am so torn about this series. I enjoyed the steam and felt thus was some of the best the author's written. The story was interesting and kept me invested. The plot was believable to a degree and made sense as the story progressed.
However, the plot did have its weak points. Lizzy being bratty all of sudden didn't work. Charles being sporadic in how he took Lizzy, rough one minute (even if it wasnt really rough) and then apologizing and running away the next? Charles is supposed to be a dangerous man, yet he runs off crying when he does one thing with Lizzy. It just didn't make sense or work. I also had am issue with Lizzy's treatment of her mom. Her mom didnt do anything and tried to protect her, but Lizzy blamed her the same as her father? Why?
I felt like the series should have been a little longer just to answer some of the questions I had. We didn't get enough background to understand Charles or his job, and his build up to where he is was never really explained.

Charles owns a casino and as well as a collection agency and when he sees Lizzy, he will do whatever he must to have her. Lucky for him her father is a gambler and a drunk. He gets her father to give him Lizzy to clear his debts. Will Lizzy fall for Charles or will she run? Fast-paced read with great characters, loads of drama and plenty of steam. I fond the story entertaining and the chemistry intense and hot. A good read.

This series is written well, and definitely meets the expectations. While I will admit, I liked Intoxicated better, this is still a good series. It’s entertaining and fun and I enjoyed reading it.
My only real complaint with this series is that I found Lizzy to be unrealistic. I understand she grew up in a small town in Alabama, but she has a cell phone with internet, she likely graduated from high school there also, which means she is not isolated from modern society. There is no way I can even pretend like she would be this ignorant about sex. That’s a level of suspended belief that I can not muster.
And for that matter, for a guy who’s wealth comes from a casino, there is not one single instance of him being at said casino in the whole series, or doing really anything other than driving around to beat up people who owed him money; which, there’s a reason criminals use “crew” to do those types of jobs. He should be making real money off the money he makes from the suckers at his casino. That’s a true set-up, this comes off as almost half baked, and not thought through properly to smooth out the details. That’s not a huge issue for me in this series, as it’s not really all that pertinent to the story (though it should, and IRL would be) so I can do without it here.
5 ⭐️s= Perfect story, exciting, engrossing, well developed complex characters, solid plot with few to no holes, descriptive environments and place settings, great mystery elements, realistic dialogue, believable reactions and behaviors, loved this story so much I’d buy it.
4 ⭐️s= Great story, highly entertaining and enjoyable, exciting storyline, well developed characters and settings, a few discrepancies but nothing that can’t be overlooked. Believable actions and reactions, realistic dialogue, a book I would consider buying.
3 ⭐️s= Good but not great story, noticeable discrepancies, grammatical and or spelling errors, undeveloped characters or unbelievable behaviors but still readable. Nothing majorly wrong with the story, just not interesting enough for me to continue. Would not buy the book.
2 ⭐️s= Not offended by the story, but not interested enough to finish. Unbelievable characters, poor writing, many mistakes, big holes or discrepancies, many spelling or grammatical errors, characters not believable, unlikeable or TSTL.
1 ⭐️= Offensive, extremely poor writing, horrible characters, victimization, gaslighting, blatant abuse, unnecessary violence, child endangerment, or any other highly objectionable behaviors by Main characters. Would never buy this book, and do not recommend it to anyone.

A three part dark romance about Charles, the rich owner of all that matters in their town, and Lizzy, the daughter of a man that owes him big. One look at Lizzy and he becomes obsessed! She’s all he can think about and he must do anything to have her! This leads to some very steamy stalker type scenes.
When Lizzy does become his, Charles really struggles with doing things as he’s always done, and wanting to take care of her the way he knows she deserves. There are situations that push their relationship apart. They each have to make choices that will either bring them together or push them apart. There is tons of spice to this romance! Some suspense and darkness. There’s also a good ending that leaves this couple in a good place to wrap things up. There were a few things that felt off in the story but overall it was a fantastic read. I always love Teresa Wolf books and would recommend it every time.

So, I wanted to like this, because the premise seemed promising with the villain stalking and then getting the girl…but the execution fell extremely flat. I knew going in that as a novella that there are some limits to character growth and depth, and sometimes plot development since things tend to happen pretty fast…but I could not get behind this story.
There was pretty much zero depth to either character. We get very little backstory for the MMC, Charles, and the FMC, Lizzy…where do I begin? I mean, I’m all for someone being sheltered and being taught by the MMC, BUT, this wasn’t even that. Lizzy essentially had no idea what an erection was, but then, after a traumatic event is able to pinpoint that she could’ve been r*ped. That makes ZERO sense. There was very little conversation between the characters and almost no relationship development. Both characters read as immature, emotionally stunted, there was no growth or depth, and the plot line essentially went nowhere.

I totally enjoyed this series, you are so lucky to read it all at once. The storyline and descriptions are detailed and imaginative.
Book 1:
This is a really intense start to what I feel will be an awesome series. I can’t believe there are father’s like Lizzy’s out there, I’m so glad she got away from him. Will Charles treat her better, I hope so.
Book 2:
I loved this intense installment. Lizzie had so much to think about, she made a tough decision. I know Charles wants to keep her safe and protect her, but what is he planning to do now.
Book 3:
This last installment is over the top exciting. It was great how much you could feel the love Charles has for Lizzy coming off the pages. Lizzy does something I never expected, which she never regretted. Totally enjoyed the epilogue it gives you a peek into their future.

Book 2 - The story of Charles & his obsession with Lizzy continues. She succumbs to his charms but then she reveals something she thinks happened between herself & her father. He believes it to be true & he will doubtless make him pay a heavy price.
Book 3 - The journey of these two disparate souls continues & their story ratchets up a notch & then some. Such an unlikely coupling yet their love for one another is fierce & intense. Another great read from my namesake, Teresa, she knocked it out the park, again!

I have read and enjoyed this author before, and something about this book captured my attention and interested me.
It's always great to read a series in a box set, in one go, meaning the books flow from one to another.
Unfortunately it just wasn't for me, it didn't hold my attention and I lost interest. I then found it difficult to get back into it. I can't really highlight why, and it seems to not be a problem others have had.
Sometimes a book just isn't for you. I won't however let it stop me from reading other work by this author, as I previously mentioned I have enjoyed other books.
It's always great to read a series in a box set, in one go, meaning the books flow from one to another.

You know the movies with the scenes that you are embarrassed to watch because the scene is embarrassing?
This book is like that.
I really enjoyed another book by this author so figured I’d try something else.
I made it to 30% and decided there are many more books in the library….
The plot idea was great, the execution of it - very disappointing.
I felt the characters were not developed, the heroine innocent in a way that wanted me to smack her. Really, an 18 year old doesn’t know what sex is? Is there an 18 year old who is that sheltered these days?
The hero, as well, read as immature….
Decided to stop reading and let it go.

This series is dark and steamy. Lizzy is in quite a situation that is out of her control. Her father has a drinking problem and has gotten himself into quiet a bit of debt to Charles Barker. Charles is a sexy dangerous man, and he is at Doug’s house who owes him money. Lizzy walks in and sees her dad on the floor and looks up and sees Charles and is instantly attracted to him but realizes he is dangerous. Charles sees Lizzy and is instantly attracted to her and wants and he always gets what he wants. Charles offer a deal his debt with be paid he just wants Lizzy, her father agrees. Can Lizzy live with such a dangerous man? Great characters and storyline Highly recommended Awesome trilogy. Short and sexy read.

I love the fact that each book in this set can be read in one short sitting. I am a fan of Teresa Wolf's books in general and this series did not disappoint me. It was dark, steamy and a touch taboo. Charles is a very bad man who essentially purchased a very innocent Lizzy from her deadbeat parents then naughtiness ensues. Lizzy's parents were trash and one of my favorite moments in the books was Lizzy's last conversation with her mother.

Lizzy has not had the best life, her father is a drunk and the house is awful. He owes Charles Barker a lot of money. She is in the wrong place at the wrong time, he and his goons have come to collect when she walks in. Charles is fascinated, he does not understand why, but he will have her. He will take her to make the debt go away.
This was a page turn, kept your attention until the end.

Charles goes to collect a debt and sees the man's daughter and that starts the stalking. He is older and she is a young teenager. He starts stalking her and keeping an eye on her. He gets her to his home and keeps her there. Then Lizzy does something I did not see coming. This is a fabulous collection of stories. Again applause to Teresa Wolf.

I liked the story about Charles and Lizzy. But the interaction between the characters is as good as non-existent, it's all about sex between them. The sex scenes are really good, but dor me there is to little communication between Lizzy and Charles. And absolutely no character development of the main characters.

Charles thought he had everything till the day he saw Lizzy. When he saw her he knew he had to get to know her and have her. Charles' lifestyle was far above what Lizzy was use to. To get away from her family she took Charles' offer to come and live with him. The 3 book box set follows the couple through their ups and downs. A set of books that pull you in and help you get lost in their world.

This box set is a three book collection which features the dark story of Litzy who is sold to Charles to pay off a debt owed him by his father. The characters in this series are well described and appropriate for the plot which is intense, erotic, and intriguing. There are cliffhangers at the end of books one and two of this series.

Absolute nonsense
I'm not happy with this book. I didn't even finish. The Male lead is soft and unbelievable as any kind of villain. The girl is literally a box of dull rocks without one active brain cell. Parts of what I read was good, but it's like the author didn't care for character development or a plot. Just Him looking at her and her hanging around like a damp towel.

I am sure u would have given this book more stars but I didn’t get the whole book. It was a stuff your kindle book that didn’t specify you would get a few chapters and leave you hanging. You want to give out teasers that’s great but put that in the description because it’s crappy to think you’re getting a story to just be left hanging.

A good trilogy, I love being able to read an entire series back to back without a lapse in between. This was a good one of Charles and Lizzie's journey, it is dark, steamy and deliverable Teresa style.

I really love how much Charles loves Lizzy. Charles gets his HEA with Lizzy, unfortunately there is drama and obstacles to overcome. Worth the read.

I absolutely loved this collection and was honored to have been able to read and review. It was such a phenomenal read and had amazing characters as well as an amazing stories. I just could not get enough of it and once I started reading it I could not put it down. I recommend that you read it.

Fantastic
Fantastic is all I can say. The way Charles infinitely loved & cherished Lizzy was too perfect! How a big, powerful, Alpha of a man, that all others fear is so taken with his woman!!
