Trapped by an avalanche with San Francisco’s most eligible bachelor would seem like a chemistry packed holiday, but I’m a one-date wonder. There’s no way we’ll ever fall for one another.
Clay McGrath is a doctor, a distinguished veteran, and he saved my life. As San Francisco’s most eligible bachelor, women know no boundaries and the texts, photos, and visits are unrelenting. I know why. His rock-hard abs, sapphire blue eyes, and those dimples melt my unmentionables right off. He’s saved countless lives, but he’s captured my heart and he may not be there to catch me when I fall.
Anna Standing is fiercely independent, with a mouth made for sin. Her long legs, infectious smile, and she's smart as a whip all intimidate men. After all, she doesn’t need our money, our help, or our bodies. But she needs me. She just doesn’t know it. Her world is imploding and she’s in danger and I’m the only one who’s able to save her.
Naughty and Nice is a holiday stand-alone and the fourth book in the Clear Security Holidays series. It is its own love story complete with a happily ever after. Characters from the Billionaire Venture Capitalists, Tech Billionaires, and Stiletto Sisters are known to make appearances.

When I read a book by Ainsley St. Claire I know I am going to revisit some of the memorable characters from various series. First of all, the book is great without knowing all the background of some of the secondary characters, but you will feel like part of the gang by the time you are finished reading the story.
Clear Security is one of the entities that is part of all the suspense stories and we meet Clay who is part of their medical team for the first time. He has quite the reputation as a ladies’ man and the constant pinging of text messages from interested women seem to reinforce that image.
He and Anna meet unexpectedly and a series of threatening events and break-ins make Clay suggest Anna needs protection.
So Clay is a gorgeous, intelligent guy committed to bachelorhood and Anna beautiful, clever and sassy. She’s not a jealous shrew, but she also has a history of less than faithful boyfriends and not willing to go down that road again.
I like how grounded and not full of himself Clay is, and how mature and devoted to family Anna is. Their chemistry is hot. Their drama is understandable and not annoying. I enjoyed the book and will look for Cora’s story.

I have missed the Clear Security team and the Tech Billionaires but "Naughty and Nice" brought everyone back for another fabulous story! If you are familiar with St. Claire's work, then you know that Nate Lancaster is a billionaire who helped create artificial limbs and that Jim Adelson is the head of Clear Security. Dr. Clay McGrath served with these men while they were all in Afghanistan Their friendships have remained strong and Clay now works at the hospital as well as for Clear Security in a medical capacity. Clay meets Anna Standing at a resort in Tahoe while both are on vacation. As Clay and Anna are skiing, an avalanche occurs trapping them in a closed off building at the resort. While they wait to be rescued, Clay and Anna develop a friendship. As the story progresses, we learn that Anna's life may be in danger. Enter Clear Security. In true St. Claire fashion, we then get a story that has romance and intrigue with a splash of humor. Many of the wonderful characters from her other books make appearances in this one. The wives have their "girl's night out" where they share their lives, drink their wine, and support each other's problems. The guys have fun and give each other a hard time while thanking the stars that they have their wives to keep them straight. I absolutely love these series. St. Claire's writing is wonderful and her stories are terrific! You can read "Naughty and Nice" as a stand alone, but I would highly recommend her other books as well.
I found this quite hard to get through, even though I did like the characters and the main story. I felt like it dragged a little, and we didn’t get through the story quickly enough. Every time the avalanche was referenced throughout the book, it felt like that was a different book I’d read, as it seemed so long ago that that happened. It kept shocking me that it was still the same book. It didn’t take me a particularly long to read the book; it just felt like a long time. I really liked the characters; however, I didn’t like the change in Anna’s personality halfway through. She went into the dalliance with Clay knowing full well he just wanted fun and nothing serious. However, she makes a big deal out of the phone calls and texts he gets acting very jealous and possessive when they haven’t even defined their relationship at this point. He also makes it clear that they are bothering him just as much, but she chooses to make him the bad guy over it. She certainly made a mountain out of a molehill. It just didn’t sit well with the fiercely independent character we were initially introduced to. I liked Clay’s development, though. He went from a commitment-phobe to full-on in with Anna. His character was better developed than Anna’s. Overall I did enjoy the book; I just felt it went on a bit too much. So much needed to be wrapped up, but the middle just plodded on with many of the same things happening. So to the best in this series but still a good read.
Naughty and Nice was a great holiday suspense romance book. Clay and Anna begin the story dealing with an avalanche and that is only the beginning of their story. Clay works as a doctor and for a security company, and between those two professions, and the personal struggles Anna is going through they end up spending a lot of time together.
The biggest issues for Clay and Anna become trust issues with Clay's newfound public attention and stalker issues, and Anna's history of being cheated on. However, the suspense storyline runs along with the entire book.
While this book is set during Thanksgiving and Christmas period, the holidays are not the focus of the book, and can be enjoyed during any part of the year. I prefer holiday books to be read during the months of October through December, but I would have read this book anytime.
I hope this series continues, because I loved seeing these characters and don't quite want to leave this world just yet.
Engaging Cupid, Family And Friends - Clay and Anna’s journey to a happily ever after, may have started out as a friend’s with benefits agreement, however, spending time together increased their affection for each other. Their friends and family could see they were meant to be together, but their insecurities and weariness, kept getting in their way. Furthermore, they had to deal with mysterious incidents, that subsequently led to an international rescue mission.
This story was engaging, powerful, action-packed and emotionally challenging read to experience. Ainsley St Claire did an amazing job with the plot construction and connecting the lives of the interesting characters. Holy guacamole is the best way to describe this book, that had me totally engrossed from the first page until the last and still left me thirsting for more.

Naughty and Nice By Ainsley St Claire Main Characters: Clay and Anna I voluntarily and honestly reviewed this book without bias or persuasion from the author. 5 out of 5 stars This is another win for Ainsley St Claire. I have read and reviewed 17 of her books and in my humble opinion, they are all 5 stars. I love the stories behind each character and the fact that w get to revisit some of her past characters in her other series. This book of course is a contemporary standalone with no cliffhanger. Clay is an ER doctor and part of the Clear Security team, and Anna is an Interior designer. I hope in an upcoming book we will be seeing Anna's brother Charles. I also would like to see Hamish and Felicity's stories in the future. The next book is Cora's who is a former FBI agent and now works for Clear Security and is a bodyguard for Anna at some point.

Action-packed multi-genre romance come thriller. 4* I read several works by this author, and I enjoyed this one also. It is an action-packed, novel with very good character development and description, scene-appropriate dialogue, and good use of vocabulary and phraseology. I couldn’t understand the title or what an emergency room physician could possibly do working for a security firm. However, the novel was very romantic, steamy, and exciting with all the violent attempts on her life that poor Anna had to deal with, which had given Clay the opportunity to be the hero. The friendly rapport between the friends and the family of both protagonists added to the feel-good factor of the book. The rescue of Anna’s brother was very well described. The HEA of the protagonists was well deserved. I am happy to recommend the book to other readers.

Romance and action when didn't seem to go that way 4.5 The story is rather simple and cute at the start: Clay is a doctor who is regularly hooked by women because he is deemed to be a wanted bachelor. What seemed nice to him before becomes annoying and he doesn't really want a relationship. Anna is simpler and meets him during an intervention while they are both on vacation. A touch of confinement, Anna who does not want a playboy, Clay who only wants short relationships, brings together the two different expectations. Where my opinion has changed is when about 20% of the story has passed, the story changes completely with a rather mysterious, complex plot, and the entry of sympathetic secondary characters who bring them a lighter touch despite the context of the attacks. There are as many actions as there are romance. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book
Maybe it was fate that brought The Most Eligible Bachelor Clay into Anna multiple times over a short period. Then, when disaster strikes them both, they connect on an even deeper level. Communication dies down, until fate intervenes again, and a guaranteed HEA is had by all.
I really loved this story and how Classy and Anna's relationship appears to be seamless and effortless. When they lose touch, you can tell by the storytelling that both are not happy about it, but neither wants to do anything about it right away. This story filled my feel-good bucket up, and had the right levels of suspense thrown in.
While the mystery part of the story didn't need to be included in my opinion to make this story work, I think it added more to the overall feel of the story.
Please note that I did receive an ARC of this book and the opinions expressed in this review are my own.
After seeing his father marry and divorce several times, Clay is determined to stay single. No commitments for him. But when he sees a woman accidentally knocked out while on a ski weekend and meeting her daughter, he may need to change his mind. Then, when they’re trapped in a ski lodge after an avalanche with said daughter, he really reevaluates his stance.
Anna watched her parents’ love and doesn’t think that she’ll ever find that kind of love for herself. Then Clay helps her mother, she gets caught in an avalanche, and has her home and business broken into. Clay helps her through everything, so she needs to reevaluate her stance. Can she have the kind of love her parents had?
This books got some action, some closed proximity, some groveling and some mystery. Although the mysteries weren't too hard to figure out, It still added in a good way to the story. I also enjoyed the development of the love between the two MCs. It starts with a chance encounter, then they become friends and it just progresses naturally. The main characters like to spend time together, so they do.
This is a holiday romance, but it isn't the main focus. I would say it is more on a third level. I thought it was refreshing to get a different type of holiday romance.
All in all, if you are looking for a cute romance with a few mysteries and a dash of holiday, it is a good choice.

Another gem in ths fourth in series... Whilst this can read as a standalone I can't describe how remarkable it feels to reconnect with characters from Clear Security I've come to love & respect. That said there were lots of new characters & I couldn't help but identify with them also. Heart wrenching yet heart healing at the same time, I just love this author's remarkable story telling that makes you experience so many, sometimes conflicting, emotions. The gift of a great author. Highly recommended. I received an arc & this is my honest & voluntary review.
Anna meets Clay at a resort while on vacation. They end up in a closed off part of the resort when an avalanche happens. When it seems like Anna might be in danger Clear Security steps in to help her. Will something more come from their time together? Will they find out who is after Anna?
This is an amazing story that will draw you in from the first chapter on. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that any book lover would enjoy.

Clay is a doctor who works half the time in a hospital and the other half for Clear Security. He is a player. His cock twitches for every women he sees. He has slept with half the hospital.
He goes away by himself to get away from all the craziness an article about him has started and he meets Anna. Her mum is injured in the lobby and he helps her. They see each other again the next morning and go skiing together. There is an avalanche and they get trapped in a ski lodge that is not open yet.
There literally having sex straight away. They get rescued and her mum panics (her mums kinda annoying) so they leave. He looks for her the next day but realises she left and didn't leave her details.
She apparently did leave her details he just didn't get them. She is telling her best friend (who I thought was going to be worse than he was) that she isn't going to go looking for him. She left her number and he didn't call but then her mum gets sick and guess who the doctor is. They clear things up and he gets her number.
Her house and office get broken into and then someone tells her they think the avalanche was set of on purpose and it could all be in connection to her brother who is in China working on a business deal.
Clay is a bit all over the place. He spends loads of time with her but then it seems like he's blowing her off. He has women calling him constantly which he is annoyed about but when she calls him out on it he's a bit of a dick about it but I'm glad she called him out
They discover the brother is in deep do do and they get him out and they find out why every woman in his area has his phone number even though he kept changing his number.
I really enjoyed this story. Anna is a sweetheart as is Clay. These two had quite the meet cute, and adventure when they were on vacation. Back in town, they eventually reconnect, and it becomes something even more as Anna's life becomes very complicated. This book had romance, love, sizzle and suspense, so I found it a very entertaining read.
I received a free advanced reader copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving my fair and honest review.
Clay and Anna meet under stressful circumstances. Clay is not into commitment and Anna has trust issues and both are tested by ongoing stressful situations. I liked that Clay realised how his actions caused upset to Anna and also liked that Anna could be honest about her reactions. Very enjoyable romance with lots of drama, fun, family and friends. I received an ARC of this book from Booksprout but voluntarily leave this review.
This may be a holiday book but it oh so much more! Clay and Anna meet at a resort and then things begin to happen to Anna. With help from Clay and the gang from Clear Security it becomes clear that Anna needs protection and thankfully Clay is there to help. Yet not all is cut and dried and we know in real life and it’s the same for Anna. This is a suspense full of romance with their own HEA.
I couldn’t put down this book. It had a good story line, strong females, and great males who wanted to protect but not in an overbearing way. All was not rosy as flawed characters can be but smart enough to accept their flaws and improve. The only thing I didn’t like was the book cover. I think someone could have found a better choice. Covers are important.
This is a really good addition to this series. Fate just keeps throwing these two together. Really liked the characters and their story. So many great cameos from the other stories in the series.
Who said that fate doesn't exist? Didn't meet Anna and Clay, first her mother get knocked out, and a doctor is right their. Then the snow tumbles down, miss communication , yet another trip to hospital for mom they reconnect . Danger follows, a b
I thoroughly enjoyed Naughty and Nice, the thrill, the tension, the slow build, the ups and downs, and Clay and Grace. I love how all the books have intertwined and evolved with each book. I hope there are many more to come
Ainsley St. Claire writes characters that becomes like family and stays with the reader. Clay is a doctor who works with Clear Security. He is handsome and considered a very eligible bachelor. Anna is an interior designer from a prominent and wealthy family. The plot is interesting and dramatic as Anna and Clay find themselves involved in one incident after another. The characters are magnificent and well developed. It is the holidays and this story makes for a great gift. I absolutely love reading these page turning and romantic stories from this author. Anna and Clay become another successful and happy couple in the Clear family.
Clay and Anna have smoking chemistry. Add that to all the intrigue surrounding them, and you have one hot book. Being back with the Clear Security family was an added bonus. I loved it.
Once I started this I couldn’t put it down!! Ainsley St Claire is one of my all time favorite authors. All of her stories are well written, original and attention grabbing. I can’t help falling for her characters. I can’t wait for more from her. 🖤🔥⛷🔥🖤
