Sheltered From The Storm

Shayla, an experienced hiker and survivalist is
hiking a mountain with her male friend Antony
when she wrenches her ankle and can't go further.
Antony decides he's skilled enough to trek down the
mountain to get a rescue group to help. Hurt and
barely able to hobble around on her injured ankle,
Shayla finds herself stranded as a blizzard arrives
and puts her in mortal danger. Lucky for her, three
brothers are in the area and finally hear her yell
and they rescue her. They find the cabin the Shayla
wanted to get to. The cabin is a small one room hut
really and the four of them go on to share their survival
skills and heat together. Speaking of heat, a lot sure gets
generated when all four of them strip out of their soaking
wet clothes and make things heat up in the little cabin on
the mountain. The close quarters serve to heat things up
in many ways and the sex shared by four is burning hot.
Antony was a loser and Shayla and the three brothers won
the day!
What a wonderful epilogue at the end, it was worth it all.

I loved this book! Shyla is an experienced hiker who took a male friend, Antony, hiking to see if he was someone she wanted to get to know better. Antony doesn't listen to Shyla and she ends up with a sprained ankle. When they run out of time to get down the hill before dark, she decides that they need to make camp, but Antony insists that he can go down and get her help. Shyla pulls out her popup tent and once inside, she passes out. When she wakes up the next morning, there is no rescue squad. So she knows she needs to get herself out of the situation she is in. When she gets even more injured, she is rescued by Lazarus, Jerico and Dante. Once they make it to the small cabin, they work together to stay alive and fed. They get to know one another and one thing leads to another. There is a HEA for them all.

I liked Shyla's character. She is strong and able, but she also admits the need for help. I enjoyed the three brothers who were so hot. The epilogue just tied everything together for me.

Wow - I loved this book - it was a easy good steamy read! I loved all the guys and definitely need to read more RH from Poppy. There is actually RH steam scenes, that I would rate the acts as high steam, but the way it is written probably medium steam. It's written in a sensual way, rather than listing all the details - which is what I mean by medium.

I do have some reservations at first about Dante, but touche move when they mentioned Anthony! I liked that reasoning and it was sound and clear - that I liked that Poppy put in.

. I would say that it did leave me wanting to know more about the guys and the FL themselves after reading? I thought that after the ending (and before the epilogue) it went really fast - but it was still satisfying to the end! (I'd definitely love to read this group again though, I loved all their characters!)

Shyla is left behind by her hiking companion when she injures her ankle, under the guise of getting help. When a blizzard sets in overnight as she waits for help, she must go for shelter. With whiteout conditions, she gets off track, but luckily, Lazarus, Dante and Jeri hear her cries and rescue her. They find a hunter's cabin and wait out the storm there. With not much to do, they get to know each other. When their rescuers arrive, their idyll ends, or does it?
This is a good read. Shyla is a strong and feisty heroine, and her three Heroes are yummy hot. Spicy scenes abound, and their HEA is well earned. This is the ninth in the multi-author Loved by Three Series, but it stands alone. I truly enjoyed this one.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this story, it wasn’t the usual girl meets boy and a happily ever after. This story was about a woman Shyla, who goes hiking in the mountains with her male friend, she ends up with a sprained ankle and he leaves her stranded on the mountain all alone. Then three brothers Lazarus, Jericho and Dante, come along and rescue her and take her to a cabin where they get the Jiggy on and they get close and then they go home. A month later they meet up and realise that they can’t live without each other and then they have their happily ever after. There’s a lot more involved in the story, you just have to read it and find it out for yourself.

After going on a hike with her "almost" boyfriend, Shyla finds herself stranded in a snow storm with a badly sprained ankle. Luckily for her, she is found in the snow by the 3 Fortney brothers: Lazarus, Jericho and Dante. All 4 of them find rescue from the storm in a small hunting cabin for a few days.
While they are stuck together, passion runs high and Shyla finds herself with 3 lovers. But what will happen once they are back in the real world?
Shyla is a great character, she is strong, smart and capable. The fact that she was stranded in the storm to begin with, was the fault of her wannabe boyfriend. The Fortney brothers are hot as sin, sexy and dominant. I wouldn't mind getting stuck with them during a snow storm myself! A fun, steamy story to read on a snowy day.

This standalone book is the first reverse harem story that I've read from the author and I really enjoyed it. Yes, there was hot sex. But there was also a great story with wonderful and distinct personalities in a setting that the author either has experience with or researched well. I liked that it covered some real-world concerns and brought them into the characters where it was dealt with by discussion and thought. I really liked the depth of personality each character had and the way that they all worked together. This is a great read for when you have some downtime and don't want anything heavy. Very enjoyable.

A short quick satisfying read - polyamorous style :)

How an author determines how to balance conventional and unconventional thoughts about these relationships says a lot. Poppy does a good job here of setting up the scenario of the 3 as to how they meet to actually discussing how it would need to be once they hit the outside world.

I liked all 3 men and they were all different personality wise as was the woman who was smart and not someone who appeared flighty and just in love with multiple men.

I read this as a single read on a long flight and was satisfied completely having done that. I will read more by this author for sure.

Winter time in the mountains can be hazardous to your health - and your heart! This book covers a lot: a respect for nature in the descriptions of the dangers, suspense in the built-up to Kyla's rescue and LOTS of steam when the attraction between her and the three brothers who saved her burns out of control. Then there's the feelings - kinship, friendship, love, anger, anxiety. I'll let you find out about what! This is a very fast-paced, action-packed book with a great epilogue.

This was a great read. I enjoyed reading this work, the characters were fantastic and each grew over the course of the story. I enjoyed that the work was written in third person, it allowed the reader to be able to understand all the characters feelings and reactions. The plot was great and worked well for the story. I was able to connect with the characters on an emotional level, which helped add to the story.

Received as an ARC and leaving my honest review. This was a fast paced sexy and steamy read that had good character development and a well thought out story line. The connection, heat and chemistry between the characters could be felt and even though it was a short story, there was enough plot built up to make it interesting and engaging with a sweet and perfect epilogue to round up their HEA. Great read for a lazy afternoon.

If you like this author’s books then you will love this one too. It’s sexy and sweet and full of fun. If you’ve never tried one of her books this is a good one to start with because as a stand alone you haven’t missed anything and don’t need to back read to catch up. I love that Shyla is strong and capable even if circumstances mean she needs rescuing. She teaches the boys in return and there are lots of journeys of discovery. A quick and fun read that is also sexy and steamy.

Is there room for four?

Shyla gets hurt while hiking and her partner leaves her to fend for herself. Shyla falls asleep without meaning to and the weather has turned. Poppy wrote a great section of Shyla trying to get to safety and being found by the brothers. I was drawn right into the story. From there it gets steamy. This was a fun quick read with a bit of suspense at the start.

I'm new to Poppy Flynn's work but thoroughly enjoyed this hot little storyline, Stranded with the Storm Chasers. Great characters, easy to relate too and loved Shayla's sense of strength and resiliency, oh and her desire to explore the unknown attention from three hot guys. Wonderful balance of sexual tension and exhilaration, plus the idea of fate bringing the right people together.

After she injured herself, the guy she was hiking with was supposed to get help. The guys come across her first. They hole up in a small shack. It is not long before they are getting to know each other. Surviving the storm will lead to a happy future together.

Love and Survival

This story finds four people in a survival situation (snowed in an abandoned cabin during a blizzard) - within the stripped down and heightened emotions, deeper feelings blossomed. The start of this story is so tense, it had my heart racing (of course, later in the book my heart rate was elevated for other reasons - wink, wink). A fast-paced book.

What a fun story. I loved Shyla's character. She knew what she wanted and went for it. The men grew on me. At first, I wasn't too sure about them but they definitely showed up when needed. Great story.

Not going to lie, this book was kinda good! I find myself being really picky about reverse harems. I love them because… well I think you understand why. If your reading this you know what I mean ;). I thought the plot was there and I f***ed with the guys. They all had character, haha get it! Anywho it was the three S’s that I look for when reading these types of books. Short, Sweet, and Spicy. Now for once, I’m going to go into detail about the book and the characters! Look at me go!
Shayla, our main character is out on a hiking date with some not-so-fun guy. Even with her being a strong hiker this awful man leads her to become hurt and stranded out in the middle of the woods while a storm is browning. Then all of a sudden three super hot storm-chasing men whose names are Dante, Jeri, and Lazarus. They were in the right place at the right time. So these hot men save Shayla and now they're all stranded in this little cabin while trying to keep each other safe and warm ;). Each charter was so different it was easy to tell who everyone was. Also with how short this book was a bit happened which I really enjoyed.
So it was a yes for me and also it was short and spicy which is all I wanted when I read this book! Until next time friends!
