Monster's Naughty List

Rate this book
WARNING: Do not proceed if you want a Cinderella tale with a beautiful prince charming. My tale is nothing of the sort. It's downright despicable and dirty to many. Continue if you think that is your cup of tea. Everyone else? Go find a jewelry store and pearls to clutch.

Picture this:

It's Christmas Eve.

There you are, drinking eggnog, minding your own business in your cozy apartment. The fireplace is lit and crackling, and the pine from your new Christmas tree is wafting through the air.

Everything is perfect.

Until your craft project turns horribly wrong, somehow creating a portal from the underworld into your apartment. Monsters that you would have feared lurking in the dark corners of your rooms at night come crawling out from the pits of Hell.

Well, that's exactly what happened to me. I'd say that it was a nightmare, but really it was the day my life changed for the better.

I learned about my deepest desires, finding out I had kinks that I'd never even dared to dream about, leaving my innocence behind. Refined and shy kindergarten teacher no longer.

They brought my needs to the surface with their dirty words and touches, and now I'd never want to be on the nice list again.

Not when being naughty felt so good.

I'll tell you what they did to me, but only if you think you can handle it.

What happens when you spill eggnog in such a way that you accidentally summon 3 hot demons to help you fix your deepest emotional problems? A great Christmas, that’s what.

This was a DELIGHT. Tinsley starts out very innocent and a bit repressed, but the demons have a way of bringing her inner bad bitch out to play. And her inner bad bitch loves monster 🐓 and being praised, I’ll tell ya.

RL Caulder really upleveled her spicy writing with this one and I am HERE for it. The spice in this novella was absolutely chef’s kiss 10/10 and I can’t wait to see her continue on this very smutty journey. 😈

This book had no right to be this cute, especially for a monster romance. Plenty of spice, of course. But it was also heartwarming, funny and sweet. It’s a really good holiday read but can be read at anytime.

For a novella, it’s also pretty deep. I don’t want to go into too much but know that you will be cheering for Tinsley, the FMC and her character development, especially the inner strength and self-worth that she finally grasps. I know, I know. It’s a holiday monster romance but I swear there is a little bit more. Lots of spice but there is a story too.

This is a quick read but I really enjoyed it. If you need me I will be having some eggnog and throwing craft supplies on the ground in an attempt to summon my own harem of monsters.

While the whole drama in the book occurs because the heroine is making a Nice/Naughty list, the book didn't have the magical holiday vibes I was hoping for. It is however jam packed with instalove and moves so quick you blink and you'll miss it. Heroine Tinsley is content in her job as a kindergarten teacher but after her last date goes awry she worries she'll be single forever. Luckily for her not only is she wrong but she manages to call to her three monster men to help her through life's struggles. She may or may not decide to keep them after a little trial and error. Super quick super naughty holiday RH read.

They brought my needs to the surface with their dirty words and touches, and now I'd never want to be on the nice list again. Not when being naughty felt so good.

This was a really fun, quicky reverse harem monster romance. Kindergarten teacher TInsley accidentally spills eggnog on her crafts, and ends up summoning three demon monsters. These monsters are here to help her unleash her deepest desires. The spicy scenes were great, and Tinsley had a lot of character development despite this being such a short novella.

A different take on a Christmas RH romance book i thought. Dont mix eggnog and glitter unless you want 3 hot monsters - Delgalath (Del), Ozaman (Oz) and Rezzath (Rez) to be summoned to help you out your issues. In regards to Tinsley their help is very hands on (with very steamy sexy times!!). Its a sweet short story and a great read too

Holy hotness! 🔥🥵🔥

Can R.L. Caulder deliver a deliciously spicy tale full of magic and monsters or what?!? Monsters Naughty List is a quick read standalone fantasy romance that is sure to keep you warm late at night cuddled up under the blankets—but you won’t be hiding from the monsters under your bed after this read that’s for sure! Instead you’ll be inviting them to join you. ;)

When Tinsley, a meek, mild and under appreciated kindergarten teacher, accidentally summons three hot alpha monsters from hell with a botched craft project she definitely gets more than she bargained for with Ozaman, Rezath, and Delagath. And while Tinsley may start out all sweet and innocent, these demons have no problems with encouraging her to dive deep and find her own inner demon hiding inside—and let’s just say her transformation is utter perfection!

Overall this RH/why choose monster story is a definite must read full of well crafted characters, a fun hilarious storyline with a captivating plot, tons of hot & spicy steam to keep you warm at night all jammed pack full of revelations, discoveries, empowerment and lessons about being yourself no matter what other people say or think. Even if it’s a woman that finds happiness with the monsters under her bed….or from Hell. ;)

This book was the Christmas story I didn't know I needed...

Tinsley is struggling through life and slowly losing faith in mankind after another disastrous date. Trying to find some balance again she decides to wind back with a little eggnog and the crafts she made with the kids in kindergarten. Instead of winding back though, she ends up accidentally summoning three monsters from hell to help her figure out what she wants in life.

I liked the fact that Tinsley is a very relatable fmc; a lot of her struggles are familiar and it makes it easy to like her. While Oz, Rez and Del look like monsters, their personalities absolutely aren't monstrous. They have a certain vulnerability and even cuteness to them I highly enjoyed. Even though this is a book with monsters, it was a mostly fun, cute and spicy read perfect for the Christmas spirit. I absolutely recommend.

"I can feel your desire and know what you want."

All I have to say is, where can I get my three monsters?! Monster's Naughty List was a perfect quick sweet, and spicy read.

This is a Christmas theme, but you can enjoy this anytime; it's May, and I devoured this book in one sitting.

The only thing Tinsley had to do for three incredible hot monsters to show up at her house was to spill some eggnog and craft supplies on the floor. (If only it was that easy for the rest of us)

This book was the perfect blend of sweet and spicy, and I can't wait to read more books by R. L. Caulder.

Where are MY monsters?? 🤤
Accidentally spill some eggnog and glitter and summon three hot monsters to help solve your issues? Yes puh-leeeze! This little nugget of a book is fun and steamy and I loved it!! If you want to dig a bit deeper, it highlights the importance of being honest with yourself and let yourself be the true you, but it's also soooo hot and steamy, and I'm off to spill some eggnog to see if I can summon three delicious monsters to help my crazy self! 😁

this was a novella which if y’all don’t know i love novellas cause it can be so hard for me to finish long books by authors i’ve never read before, mostly because idk their writing styles and some just don’t do it for me.

but i loved this authors writing and i will definitely be exploring her books!

Oh my, such a cute sexy monster story. It is also a book that talks about overcoming our own fears and be our better self. The monsters actually help her to be free. Of course that the way they do it is so so good. I abosolutly loved this book and would like to know more about the other teams of monsters!

This novella was absolutely perfect!! It gave me All. The. Feels!!

Tinsley accidentally summons 3 monsters called Algeah from another dimension.

Del, Rez, and Oz come into Tinsley’s life at the perfect time! They help her to see what she truly desires, and what she needs to feel fulfilled.

The steamy scenes were *chefs kiss* good!!

This is a must read!

I should've liked this one, but I couldn't get into it. It was sweet monster therapy with Raz, Del and Oz. That was about it. I liked that Tinsley grew a backbone and told her neighbor where to go. I'm surprised the woman didn't have a heart attack. Soft dom fluff with a touch of jealousy and assumed choosing, until Tinsley tells them otherwise.

FMC - Tinsley
Guys - Raz, Del, Oz
Bad guys - Doris and herself

The writing was chaotic in a good way, and I loved it. The writing flow was easy to follow but was abrupt at times. I get that it was based on the FMC's consciousness, but still, it was weird. I'm not doing a great job describing it. Ok, suffice to say, I'm kinda 50-50 about this book. I could relate to the FMC. I apologize a lot; rarely do I shout at anyone. So to see her cussing at the neighbor was hilarious.

The ending was OTT and not logical. I don't see how they'll manage everything in the future. I mean, the concept was good, but still, did it make me question the plot? Yes. Do I have all my questions answered? Hell no.

Sadly, it doesn't feel like it's a holiday romance. Apparently FMC hates Christmas, so even though the book description hints at having at least some Christmas vibes to it, the book does not deliver it.

What am I if not eclectic? I was in the mood to read a monster romance and here I am. I wasn’t expecting it to bring a message and for the monsters being there to help Tinsley to become a better version of herself, but that’s exactly what I got.

The book was fun, romantic, hot, emotional too. It’s a novella for ones who love a monster romance or if you just want to read something different and have some fun. If you don’t think this is for you (I’ll borrow Caulder’s words) “go find a jewelry store and pearls to clutch”, the author was thinking completely outside the box.

Why couldn’t it have been a boring banker who treated me well? He’d give me a white picket fence, and we’d have two kids we loved. We might not be madly in love, but it would be an amicable and happy relationship. But no, the first person to make my heart race with a thrill of true intrigue was, in fact, not a person at all, but a monster. And not just one, but three.

Short and steamy and monsters. Doesn't get much more fun than that. I would not be against a second part to this. Would be nice to see how their HEA would work out, because it is a short novella that part isn't really explained, which I get isn't possible time wise. Some light kink/BDSM. I'd love to read a full length book similar to this!

His eyes narrowed as if deep in thought, “What’s that phrase humans use? ‘Fuck around and find out’?" Oh my god, he did not just apply that to our situation. But I guess it was true. If I wanted to play with fire, I couldn’t be mad about getting burned. I’d play by his rules now.

It was an Ok book, but it had one of my biggest pet peeves: the always/never thought process when you just met someone.
Let me explain: I dont have a issue with insta love, my problem is when the characters think like they know each other for years “he ALWAYS does that”, “he will NEVER do this”, etc. You barely know them, how can you tell?

Also, in the beginning of the book she says she doesn’t masturbate because of her mother and she had sex with a few people and never enjoyed it, but all of a sudden she is thinking about her vibrator and she has lube at her night stand. It felt odd.

Como lectura corta erótica está bien, pero siento que le faltó sustancia, que la trama se asentara mejor. Se lee rápido y cae bien entre lecturas pesadas.

The end of the year is normally a time of reflection little did Tinsley know that her time of reflection would be helped along by three monsters from Hell showing up after a Christmas craft project goes horribly wrong. Monsters Naughty List is a wonderfully sexy short story just in time for Christmas.

Monsters Naughty List isn't exactly the story I thought it was gonna be. Honestly, I didn't know what the story was gonna be but I didn't expect it to be about making sure a person is cared for a treated the way they needed to be. To make sure that care for themselves just as deeply as they care for others. It was a little deep and had a great message.

Tinsley is very relatable, she's kind and happy but some of its forced happiness. Tinsley doesn't like to "rock the boat" she's scared of hurting other people's feelings and cares more about them than herself, she cares more about what they want or may need than she does for herself. She needs to realize that her own happiness and care are just as important even more so than anyone else.

Oz, Del, and Rez are the monsters that visit Tinsley. However they aren't monstrous, the guys are actually good guys, they help Tinsley figure out what she really wants and also help her figure some things out about herself. Also, it's not just one-sided, looks like the guys might need some help themselves and Tinsley is there for them as well.

Monsters Naughty List was a great read with an interesting plot and fantastic characters. Caulder sure did pack a lot in this short story and left nothing out. The story ended with an HFN and was a perfect steamy quick read, just for the holidays.
