Broken Bonds: A Romantic Space Opera (The Curse Of Sotkari Ta) is book 2 in this exciting Sci Fi adventure and romance series by author Maria Perez. The storyline is extremely well written with plenty of romance and lots of action as Mina and Montor marry, join the fight in the war against the brutal Lostai Empire, while caring for and protecting their young son who also shares their unique Sotkari Ta genes. The Sotkari Ta genes make them highly desirable to the Lostai for the abilities the genes allow, such as mind manipulation, telekinesis and telepathy.

This is an excellent read and would highly recommend it to those who enjoy romance and sci fi fiction.

Epic battles, revenge, and romance

Mina and Montor finally marry and their ceremony is full of love and meaning. And after the wedding, it gets hot!

When Mina uses a transporter to reunite a young girl with her parents on Earth, she can’t resist the urge to see her first husband and children.

Things go awry from that point on. When Mina returns, she is dedicated to returning the missing back to their planets. At the same time, the rebels war against the Lostai, leaving Montor, Kindor, and Mina in different geographic locales.

Lies, betrayals, and love abound in this book. Looking forward to #3. Highly recommend.

Broken Bonds The Curse of Sotkari Ta: Book Two is a suspenseful thriller and a successful sequel. The story picks up where its predecessor left off and just takes off from there.

There is a lot of tension and frustration. Much of the frustration was on my part as I wanted so badly to interject myself into the story and smack some sense into everyone.

Broken Bonds is reminiscent of Star Wars with lost love, unrequited love, deceit, mind manipulation, and treachery. It also has a few didn’t-see-that-coming moments.

I enjoyed reading this book.

Wonderful twists and turns

In book 1 we meet the unlikely couple of Mina and Montor. She's kidnapped from Earth because of her super soldier genes, he's her enemy, her rescuer and her lover. Oh yes, she's got a husband back on Earth as well.

In book 2 they get married, lose sight of each other because of their undercover work and missions. Mina survives torture and betrayal, and uncomfortable friendships. And Montor has to battle others, but especially himself to get her back.

Can't wait for book 3: coming out soon.

I found this book to be entertaining. I have just recently become a sci fi/fantasy fan. This book has some romance as Mina and Montor marry. The adventure starts and keeps you intrigued. They are trying to help unite people and avoid capture. Their child has special genes. Mina has serious choices to make. I don't know what I do if I were in her shoes. The story line is fast paced. The characters are well developed for the most part. I recommend this series. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

This is the second book in a great SCI-FI series that I have come to love from the beginning. Mina was stolen from earth and has started a new life on an alien planet. She has a new husband and child that she will do anything for. A great addition to one of my favorite series!

This is book 2 of the “Curse of the Sotkari Ta,” series.

Mina and Montor are on the run from the Lostai who have found out about their son and will stop at nothing to find them. Mina is still tormented about the family left behind on Earth; She has no way of returning as the Lostai are the only aliens in the galaxy to have the portal technology to make such transportation possible. In the meantime, she and Montor have joined the United Rebel forces to fight the Lostai and recruit other alien worlds to join the fight.

There are some interesting new developments that occur in book two and Mina becomes a very important advocate in the fight for freedom against the Lostai. The author continues to amaze me with her incredible imagination and depth of her writing. Mina is no longer the weak female earthling, and she has found her voice and inner strength through her love for Montor, her son Josher, and newfound family.

I absolutely love this series and highly recommend it!

Holy caviar on a cracker. Love, romance, and sex on a balcony. I do believe Maria hit a homerun on this book, period. More abductions, returning prisoners, and an intergalactic war, the story was just as amazing as the first book. I can't wait until the third one is out, will be waiting with baited breath for the next book. Amazing job, Maria.

The continuing saga Mina, abducted and a long way from home and everything familiar. Strong female role, family ties, unrequited love and lots more. More development of the other main characters and as before good flow, action and an excellent Sci-fi book.
