I got a lot out of this edition. Particularly interesting was the article about our relationship with guilt with author Hannah Loontjens who wrote Guilty: An Exploration of My Conscience. Unfolding the Tulip Craze, an examination of the height of Tulipmania. And article about becoming a foster home and how parenting changes. An article about a photographer that poses his daughter using every day objects to mimic old dutch paintings really inspired and impressed me.
I always learn something that gives me pause to examine my life and relationship to things. I enjoy the profiles and learning where people are in their lives and how they got there. This magazine really brings people's humanity to the page. The reader's challenge is fun to read, and I would love to participate in one eventually.
