I'd been looking forward to Erin's story, she's such a beautiful person and took everything that happened with Tricia and the Wild family with such grace. She deserved some happiness.
With their relationship already established, but still fairly new, this first part of Erin and Ryder's story had a bit of a different feel to start with from the earlier books. The path to true love however never runs smoothly and this was an emotional story, with angst and heartbreak amongst the heat and sweetness.
Poor Erin struggled with trust after the lies and betrayals she'd been through. I felt at times perhaps she over reacted to certain situations, although I couldn't really blame her, she had been emotionally shattered and I was pleased she stood up for herself. Equally Ryder at times wasn't at all in tune with her feelings. He had a lot of things happening in his life that he struggled to prioritise. I could really feel the love between them though and their strong and passionate connection. They are not having the easiest journey, they've both made mistakes and I'm sure after that ending there is a lot of emotional soul searching to be done.
Special mention for James's best friend Josh too. I adored him, he was the perfect friend to Erin and added humour, support and honesty when it was needed. I hope we get more of him, he's intriguingly mysterious.
I really enjoyed this book and am looking forward to Ryders pov next. I want to know what he's been thinking as his communication skills haven't been the best! I have slightly mixed feelings about him, but I'm sure there is a lot more to him. He does try to do the right thing and I know he loves Erin. Hopefully we won't have too long to wait!

Emotional rollercoaster
Kelly Shandwick's Wild Romance Saga has so far been sweet, emotional, inspirational, and full of love. CHASING LOVE: ERIN is another exceptional read in this series.
If ever there was a character my heart would go out to it would be Erin Foley. She was such a wonderful character, loving, caring, intelligent, independent, and successful. She'd also been let down by those who were meant to care for her the most; finding out she was adopted (this came out in James and Tricia's books), and then she caught her ex-boyfriend, Michael, cheating on her. When was her personal life going to be as fulfilled as her professional one? Two good things happened though, she found her real mum and is in a new relationship with model Ryder Goodwin, hopefully life is getting better. I truly loved Ryder, it's just sometimes I wanted to shake some sense into him. His lack of communication, or should I say, his inability to tell Erin exactly how he feels, and his actions (well inactions) cause more hurt than they should. Will Erin and Ryder be able to work through their problems, or are the feelings they have for one another not strong enough?
Erin and Ryder face some life changing decisions, will they be strong enough together to push through them? Their story is an emotional rollercoaster that pulled on every one of my heartstrings. Erin's friend Josh, well he is just amazing with her, and I like that he wasn't shy about letting Ryder know that he'll always be there to help Erin if Ryder fails. I cannot wait to read Ryder's book and see their relationship from his POV. A highly recommended emotional read.

Erin and Ryder's story is very emotional, there are twists that you won't be expecting but they give the story a great addition, their communication issues are the main point, I really like reading on their POVs, this story is overall very enjoyable, I'm looking forward to the next one.

I absolutely loved reading Erin’s story. Kelly Shandwick has penned another fabulous story in this must-read series.
I admire Erin immensely. She is successful, determined and has a wonderful personality. She is understandably cautious and doesn’t trust easily after everything she has been through. Her relationship with Ryder is relatively new, and although I can see the love between them it is quite right that Erin should expect more from Ryder - although I do appreciate that he is following a different path to what was expected and that he does have other considerations too.
I adore Erin’s friendship with Josh. There have been moments when I have wondered if the two of them would take their friendship one step further? They seem perfectly suited for one another. I will say that if Erin doesn’t want Josh, I’ll have him! He’s a trustworthy friend who isn’t afraid to vocalise his thoughts. Someone who I would love to have within my close circle.
Chasing Love: Erin is told solely giving us Erin’s POV. The author ended this narrative at the perfect point for us to switch to hearing Ryder’s perspective as their journey continues in the second book in this duet. I am looking forward to discovering what happens next for them both.

Erin struggles with trust, understandable since it's been so badly tested and broken by her past. Even though on the surface she trusts Ryder, evidence and deep down means she doesn't. This story has all the emotional feels and angst that I love, along with a steady pace and a well thought out plot. I felt Ryder was a bit misunderstood by all, but some of that is because he struggles to voice things he needs to say or it just doesnt come out quite right. Or to understand why others do not see things the way he does. Erin's past has done a real number on hee emotionalally and as such she isn't always as clear headed as she could be, questioning even herself at times. Both characters make mistakes and I just hope maybe in Ryder's book they can work through all the pain and struggles to finally end up where they need to be as a couple. As a reader I could see both sides and understand reasoning for both characters, this was often a very raw and painful story, I could empathise with Erin and with Ryder. This author doesn't shy away from hard life subjects which keep her books very realistic but also have enough stretch to give me my escapism that talk to my heart and soul. I loved it.

What a rollercoaster this story turned out to be. My heart went out to Erin as she attempted to move on from the conflicts of her past. She was overdue for some happier times in her life and I felt such empathy for her when it seemed as though she’d finally made a love connection with Ryder, only to have him let her down with his thoughtlessness. I believe he loves her, but he’s rather blind when it comes to matters of the heart and I could have shaken him for the decisions he made. I have nothing but sympathy for Erin, who deserves someone in her life who doesn’t hesitate to make her their priority. Life can be cruel and in this case it seems to be conspiring against these two. A lack of communication and an unexpected discovery just drops one heck of bombshell right into the middle of their relationship and I have no idea how they’re going to work through the pain and upset.
I’m very intrigued for Ryder’s story told from his point of view, to find out quite frankly what on earth he was thinking.

Another great story in the Chasing Love series. Erin's story is written with such emotion, showing Love and compassion towards Erin from an unexpected source.
Erin finds it hard to trust in love. Her new boyfriend Ryder, who is a male model, doesn't realise, with his inability to communicate his feelings towards her and what he wanted in life, left Erin confused and distrustful.
Her life growing up had been a lie, as revealed in Tricia and James books, and her previous relationship had ended with her boyfriend, Michael, cheating on her.
She is unsure to trust her feelings enough to let herself believe in her and Ryder's love.
The twists and turns in this story have you on edge through out the story.

Erin has been badly burnt in the past and she struggles to trust anyone and I loved how feisty, successful and determined she is. There were moments where Ryder frustrated me, his lack of communication at times had me wanting to smack some sense into him.

Chasing Love Erin, continues the fabulous series of books from Kelly Shandwick.
We have already seen glimpses of Erin in Tricia book and from what we seen at the very start of this, Erin is a strong successful independent woman who whilst successful at work, doesn’t find as much success in her personal life.
We start this book, with Erin in a fledging relationship with Ryder. Like most couples they are finding their way but with both of them balancing new careers, can they find the perfect balance. Erin is rightly concerned about Ryder’s commitment after being cheated on in her previous relationship.
As they are finding their way, they are dealt some life changing blows, which affect both.
Couldn’t wait to finish Erin, and am eagerly waiting on Ryders book. One plea from me ….. Josh ‘s book????

Oh wow !!
What a turn of events !!
Having met Erin in the Wild Romance Saga book 4 I was keen to hear more of her story. Her background is truly heart breaking, I really hoped she was due her share of fun and love.
Well...
I didn't see any of that coming at all !
One minute you are blissed out with so much passion, trying to put the past behind and let yourself be vulnerable again, and the next...
Oh Ryder, you may be a beautiful man, but you really are blind. Now I have to wait for his book to find out what he was thinking of, he really loves Erin.
Kelly Shandwick really knows how to put into words the struggles of heart over head, while deep in love. I need more, soon please.

My heart felt so much for Erin 😢😢😢
Erin was informed on what she thought was her ‘mother’s death bed that she was in fact adopted, we met Erin in Tricia and James’s book as she is Tricia’s daughter.
Then she walked in on her ex boyfriend with a younger intern, was going to go to her mums wedding with the gorgeous model Ryder, only for him to let her down…..
And now this is Erin & Ryders story
Erin loves Ryder but can’t help feeling he’s going to let her down due to all the lies and deceit that’s happened in her life, Ryder is so eager to show Erin that he’s in this for the long run, talking about moving in together and future babies…….but as with all romance stories a 🔧 in the works breaks them apart….and then the last 📄 !!!!!! I need book 2 now!!

Every book I have picked up n this saga has been better than the last and I can’t get enough of the characters and their journeys. Kelly Shandwick always gives us beautifully written romances with characters that will take over our life’s and Erin Foley and Ryder Goodman’s journey is emotional, heartbreaking and also heartwarming.
Ryder knows he has found the “one” but convincing Erin that they belong together was never going to be easy. Erin has built walls around herself and she trusts no one because of being burnt in the past. So will Ryder convince Erin to take a chance on love….one click now to find out.

Betrayal from her ex has her doubting her relationship with Ryder, she trusts him, but little things bring up the betrayal from her past and wonders if Ryder is the same, a position she doesn’t want to be put in again.

I enjoyed Erin & Ryder's story. Erin has been through a lot in last few years. She is bit more cautious and bit guarded when it comes to relationships. Erin knows what she wants and is able to express what she needs. It seemed Ryder was on same page til he wasn't. I went from liking him, to kick his butt to the curb. Erin has a special relationship with her friend Josh. He was there whenever she needed him. I was rooting for them to get together. I know there is more to the story to come. I am excited to read what happens next.

I absolutely loved Erin’s story. Erin and Ryder are in the beginning of their relationship and still trying to find the balance in their personal and professional lives. Erin still struggles with trust issues after being burned in the past. My heart went out to Erin, after all she had been through, and to finally find love with Ryder, only to have him let her down. I can’t wait to read Ryder's POV next and see if Erin and Ryder get their happily ever after.

Wow…. Just WOW! Chasing Love: Erin by Kelly Shandwick is book 5 in the Wild Romance Saga and it is goooood! I found myself gobbling up that well written story of Erin and Ryder…. and oh there’s Josh too **heavy sigh**, I just couldn’t get enough! What this girl has endured in her relatively short lifespan is incredible and had me practically gasping in parts where in others my eyes were leaking. This one is a cliffhanger so I am desperate to get my hands on the next one. Enjoy! ~Angie❤️

Erin's trust has been burned at the very core, more than once. She finds real love with Ryder, but he's having trouble delivering what Erin needs. Ryder is working hard to provide what those needs, when a major bump in their road throws a curve ball. I'm enjoying their story, and look forward to the finale.

I loved Erin's story. She has been through so much and handles it all with grace. Mrs. Shandwick does such a great job with the characters so that each and every one of them are relatable. My heart went out to Erin during this whole book. I can't wait to read more!
