Welcome to Spellford Cove, where the baking is sweet and the witches are wild.
Things are coming to a head with Antonio, but in case that wasn't enough for Robin to handle, another body has showsn up in Spellford Cove, and this time Emma is one of the prime suspects.
Will Robin be bale to juggle the issues with her father and save her cousin before it's too late? Or will she be one loaf of bread that doesn't rise to the occasion?
Samantha Silver lives in British Columbia, Canada, along with her husband and seventeen-year-old dog named Terra.
When she's not writing cozy mysteries, Samantha loves travelling (she's most recently been to Egypt, Jordan and Florida) skiing, eating Dairy Queen, and complaining about how hard running is.
PREMISE: So in this one we continue to follow Robin as she prepares to battle against her father. But before anything else can happen Emma (Robin's Cousin) phones to let Robin know that a murder has taken place at the Elementary school where she works. One of the teachers (who it just so happens no one likes) has been murdered and Emma is the prime suspect. So Robin and Ella (her other cousin, Emma's sister) work together to clear Emma's name while Robin also prepares to battle her father.
This was such an action packed book and I loved each and every single moment of it. The ending...wow!!!! I need book 6 now!!! (sadly have to wait as book 6 is not out on audiobook yet).
Thank you again Samantha Silver, another amazing installment in the Spellford Cove Mystery Series!!!!
Bread and Bewitching is Book 6 in the Spellford Cove Mystery series.
This book was REALLY exciting! SO MUCH action! Robin really has her hands full! Not only is she dealing with her evil father Antonio, but there is a murder in town and Emma is a prime suspect!
The world building is this book is fantastic. I absolutely love the well written characters and the mystery kept me guessing until the end.
I was so glued to the page, I read this in one day. I highly recommend reading this entire series, you will be left with many hours of enjoyment and following the clues!
Bye, bye Antonio! Good riddance! However, now the door is wide open for whatever new nastiness will show up next.
Poor Robin! She just wants to bake and live her life. 😆
I'm really trying to spread this series out while I wait for the last book. It will be hard, but I will put book 7 and 8 on hold until late February. Wish me luck!
Carla is introduced as the mother of three children coming up through the system.. a few pages later, she states she has no children. Elsa and Emma once again get muddled up.. these aren't the only errors.. How can you publish a novel, a whole series, with so many glaring errors in it and get 5 star reviews??? How???
Churning out books so fast compromises continuity. Silver has made so many errors that should have easily been spotted and corrected with a professional editing team. If you are paying for editing and they are missing these errors, you should demand your money back.. I suspect, however, that you don't bother and possibly use a reading group.. you seriously need to use a proper editor..
This is an entertaining paranormal cozy mystery series. A fun cast of characters and an entertaining storyline. Robin was living in the mundane world until one day she inherited her biological mother‘s Little bakery. And she moved to the town where biological mother lived she should find out that her biological mother was actually a witch. She also has a grandmother and a couple of cousins. They also happen to be witches. As time goes on she learns to use her powers. She also soon finds out that her biological father is a mad wizard aimed it gaining ultimate power and ruling the world. At some point she will have to confront her biological father and it seems that point is coming soon. She has a boyfriend who is a human that owns a computer tech company. Yet it seems like her and her cousins are always involved in someway in investigating crimes in their little town. Read on and find out what battles are ahead and what adventures are coming.
This continues to be a very good series. Her father, Antonio, is more dangerous and will be coming to kill her since she won't join forces with him. Robin's strange ability to be in her father's mind during her dreams continues to be very creepy but she does get warnings of the dangers that will confront her. Another death in town is solved. I enjoyed the book and the development of the characters. Definitely another cliffhanger at the end. As usual, I'm getting tired of that device.
Amazon synopsis: Things are coming to a head with Antonio, but in case that wasn't enough for Robin to handle, another body has shown up in Spellford Cove, and this time Emma is one of the prime suspects.

Is Death the End Things are coming to a head with Antonio, but in case that wasn't enough for Robin to handle, another body has showsn up in Spellford Cove, and this time Emma is one of the prime suspects. With the death of her evil father is the evil done with? This story is very good. I borrowed this book from Kindle Unlimited. This in no way affects my opinion of this book which I read and reviewed voluntarily.

Wow? Samantha Silver has some very twisted talent ! She makes you believe one thing up until the end, then she really twists you in knots so you can’t stop reading! Very masterful!
It’s tough having a Warlock as a dad that wanted to rule the world and thought you had to help him. Lots of excitement throughout the book and a surprise ending.
