This was a short and sweet and sexy read. And absolutely perfect for the holiday season.
Carolina heads from LA to Denver for a contest she’s sure to win. The prize? $50,000. She wants it, she needs it, and she’s pretty confident it’ll be hers. But when she gets there, she learns that a partner is required for her to enter the contest.
Enter Paxton. Grumpy, bearded lumberjack, just like the one she’d been dreaming about earlier that day on the ride there. And guess who is volunteered to pair up with Carolina? Yep, Paxton. His sister so lovingly volunteered him, much to his dismay.
Needless to say, sparks fly between these two…instalove galore.
This was a cute and fun, lighthearted read and gave me all the smiles. Kate Tilney was a new-to-me author before this story and I look forward to reading more from her.

Wonderful!! This was a nice quick, short read. I absolutely love it.
Paxton mets Carolina when she heads to Colorado to enter a snowman contest. When she arrives after she maxed out her credit card to make the last minute flight. She finds out she needs a partner, when she tells the attendant this the woman runs off. The attendant comes back pulling a Mountain man behind her. Paxton and Carolina are introduced, they both don't have partners. They agree to work together, but he finds out Carolina doesn't have a place to stay, so he asks his sister Nova if Carolina can stay with her. The next day Carolina shows up at Paxton's cabin to start planning the snowman they will built. They have to practice at his place Carolina is cold outside so they head in to warm up by the fire. Carolina lets it slip that she wants Paxton, so he kisses her. Paxton then strips her of her clothes and then takes her to lay by the fire as they make love. Carolina stays the night with Paxton but she worried about Nova so he calls her to let her know she's staying the night. The next day they head off to the snowman building contest. When the contest gets underway Paxton sister, Nova comes running to them to let them know someone else is also doing the same as them. Paxton and Caroline decide to change their design last minute. When the contest is over they stand with the others as the winner's are announced. Paxton and Carolina are announced the winners, they are asked what they are doing with the money. Paxton tells them he's going to fix up the mobile unit, when Carolina is asked she tells them she is giving her winnings back to Paxton so that he can fix up the mobile unit. Paxton takes off without saying a word. Carolina heads back to Nova's apartment and begins packing her things. Nova ask her is she can't stay a little while longer. Carolina wants to get back to her life in LA and face her debt. When she gets to the airport she hears someone calling her name, she turns to see it's Paxton. He tells her he has something he needs to show her, he apologies to her for running off and he would like a second chance with her. Carolina agrees to give him another chance then goes with him to see what he's up to. When they arrive back at his cabin he leads her down a long walkway. Inside an outhouse building is all cleaned he tells her he wants her to stay and make this into her studio. A few years later, Paxton wakes up early on Christmas morning to go outside and build snowman like his family. When Carolina comes to see what he's done, she tells him she loves it. They head off to wake up their kids to show them.

Have yourself a meowy little Christmas
Holly Jolly Mountain Man is the fourth book in the Holidays with a Mountain Man series. Carolina is an artist, she has graduated with an art degree and is trying to make her living as a sculpture in Los Angeles. Sure she is struggling, she works as a waitress on the side, but she is determined. One day while she is scrolling through social media an ad pops up about a snowman competition in the Independence Springs, Colorado. The prize is $50,000 and she could really use that money to pay off her credit cards, rent and put a down payment on a new studio where she would be able to work and live. So she quickly packs a bag, maxes out her credit card, flies to Denver and is a train finally arriving in Independence Springs. When she goes to register for the competition there is one small problem......it is open to couples only. Well now what does she do? Luckily for her the young woman manning the sign-up has the perfect solution and after going off for a bit comes back with a big, handsome, flannel wearing, bearded, brooding and very sexy mountain man to be her partner. Paxton is thirty-five years old and the local doctor in the town of Independence Springs where he grew up with his sister Nova. His father was the doctor for the area, having a traveling RV he would drive to different small towns to provide care to locals. His mother owned the antique shop in town that Nova took over and now runs. Paxton is not excited about the competition but he could use his half of the prize money to fix up the old RV his father had used and he is more than a little attracted to the young woman Nova drags him to meet. It will take both of them to win this competition, and there are a few stumbles, and a lot of hot and sweaty fun into the early morning shower, to navigate along with some buried emotions. Will their snowman win in the end? Will Carolina get her studio?
I really loved this well written book. The story is cheerful, fun, entertaining, sexy, and wonderful woven together with wit and humor. The characters are all extremely likeable and people you would want as your friends. Plus who would not like a person that wears an ugly Christmas sweater which says "Have yourself a meowy little Christmas"

Kate Tilney continues her Holidays with a Mountain Man series with the awesome Holly Jolly Mountain Man. While I love every single thing Ms Tilney writes, Paxton and Carolina's story has quickly become my favourite. Aspiring sculptor Carolina wakes up in LA and on a whim, maxes out her credit card flying to Independence Springs, CO a few days before Christmas to enter a snowman building contest with a cash prize of $50,000. As she signs up, she discovers she missed reading the fine print and needs a partner. Nova, the woman helping with the registration quickly befriends Carolina and suggests she pair up with Paxton, her brother and a grumpy, mountain man doctor who is also in need of a partner. From the moment Paxton and Carolina meet, sparks fly. Entertaining banter combined with chemistry that burns hot enough to melt all of the snow in Colorado equals a fast-paced, super steamy and wonderfully engaging short instalove holiday romance you don't want to miss!

Everyone needs a little impulsiveness like Carolina most of us don’t just up and go because it hits us, but she does just up and leaves for Independence Springs to try and win the annual snowman building contest and here is where life changes becoming more interesting . Paxton sexy as all get out mountain man who has family that love him meaning his sister entered him into the snowman building contest in hopes that he meets someone or just get out among others and the moment he meets Carolina he knows she will be a distraction (in a good way) but working together proves easier than either of them thought. The attraction is off the charts and chemistry is insanely intense when they are near each other, they can’t stop thinking of each other and neither can wait to be around each other so do they win the contest, will she stick around, can the mountain man and city girl find happiness?

First things first; I like the cover of this book!

This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. Carolina is a struggling artist. When she hears about a money winning snowman building contest, she jumps at the chance. When she is paired up with Paxton, will love blossom between them?
The chemistry between Carolina and Paxton is clear to see and I liked them together.
I liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. I look forward to more books from this series.

What a great Christmas love story
Enjoyed reading the love story between Carolina and Paxton. It was pretty close to instant love. Caroline traveled to Paxton's hometown to win the snowman contest they were holding with a grand prize of $50,000.00. When she got there she found out it was for couples only. Nova, the signup girl, ran off and brought her back a partner, Paxton. They both have reasons why they need to win. They work on sketches for the design they want to make and they have one day to practice. Read how they work together. How their feelings grow. It's really a very good love story. This amazing book 4 in The Holidays with a Mountain Man Book Series has a short, sweet and steamy holiday, instalove romance with unique and well constructed characters. This short, sweet, and steamy romance story has engaging characters who are likable and very relatable. This is a well-written insta-everything book with Characters who have depth, history, and are well-constructed. I cannot wait for the next book by one of my favorite Authors. A very enjoyable series with unique and wonderful characters set during the holidays.

The author has given us a wonderful holiday story that pulls us into the lives of Paxton and Carolina. With a spur of the moment decision, Carolina finds herself in the mountains of Colorado to participate in a snowman carving competition. However, she does not realize that she must have a partner to compete. Grumpy Paxton agrees to be her partner, but the more time they spend together the more he wants her to stay in his life.

I couldn’t get enough of this book and it’s characters. I really enjoyed the writing of this book. It was fun, flirty, steamy, and the ending was terrific. Paxton and Carolina were such a great match. I loved Carolina’s penchant to daydream about mountain men and her reference to old musicals. I knew the Judy Garland movie she referenced since it’s one of my favorites! I highly recommend reading this book! It’s the perfect short read for a cold Christmas night.

Carolina leaves L.A. to go to Independence Springs to enter a snowman competition but when she gets there the woman at the table said that the competition is only for partners the woman tells Carolina to hang on and then she comes back with her brother Paxton. Carolina has always dreamed of being carried away by a mountain man and Paxton fits that dream of hers. I loved this story and the chuckle worthy moments and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

Caroline arrives in town wanting to enter the snowman making contest so she can win and then be able to set up her own studio. Unfortunately she didn’t read the fine print saying she needs a partner. Suddenly Paxton is her new snowman making partner but the chemistry between them is hot enough to melt the snow. This was an entertaining read. Paxton and Caroline are perfect for each other with lots of chemistry and steam. I received an arc copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Carolina is an artist in need of money so she enters a snowman building contest. Paxton is a doctor/mountain man who needs money to repair his mobile medical clinic. I loved that Paxton's sister pushed him to be Carolina's partner in the contest and how they end out falling for each other in the short time they were together. This is a fun read with likable characters and a great ending. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

This was a great instalove mountain man romance. I love mountain man romances and Kate Tilney does them so well. I loved how the storyline revolved around a snowman building contest. The chemistry between Paxton and Carolina was amazing. This was a really great story and I enjoyed reading it.

I voluntarily reviewed an arc of this book and I absolutely loved it.
Fast-paced and quick to read, this instalove holiday romance is fun, sweet and steamy. Carolina impulsively goes to Independence Springs to win a snowman building competition and meets Paxton. They have a wonderful connection between them and pretty soon Paxton sets out to convince Carolina to stay forever. Good Story.

You need a partner was one of the rules to the snowman contest. Who knew? There was steam. There was tension and snarky comments toward each other as they learned how to work around the instalove. Good holiday read no cliffhanger

This was fun, sweet, and sexy. I loved how Carolina just jets off to this contest to make her dreams come true and in turn meets Paxton who does exactly that. Their chemistry is palpable and this was just a heartwarming, fun, and sexy read.

I had so much fun with this story. She needs a studio, he needs the mobile clinic restored. Short, some steamy scenes, and a HEA. Mountain Man gets his woman.

This was a great book to curl up with, this is the first one I have read but I will be checking out the rest of this author's books. I was sucked right into this book and could not wait to see what happened next, I would definitely recommend it I did not want to stop reading.
