Rate this book
Freya's life was ruined as far as she was concerned. With the love of her life, Tristan in a coma and everyone from his pack blaming her, she had no choice but to run away when he needed her the most. She knew his pack was right. The vampires would never have attacked the pack if she wasn't around. With her out of the picture, she hoped that Prince Ballan would leave them alone and follow her.

Little did she know, that while on the run, she would be faced with the ultimate temptation. With her emotions running high and an unnatural magnetic attraction to Mason, she made the biggest mistake of her life. She didn't know if she'd ever be able to return home after betraying, Tristan in such a cruel way.

Freya is embraced by a family that she never knew she had and they teach her how to control her new powers and violent outbursts. However, she longs to go home to her mate. Unfortunately for her, Mason claims that he is her soulmate, her Fennid.

When Tristan wakes, will she be by his side? Or will Mason be able to convince her that she belongs with him?

I'm an international best-selling author, which is still crazy for me to say. I am surprised all the time when people want to and enjoy the weird stuff that comes out of my head. I am so grateful to all my readers, and I wouldn't be able to do this without you.

I am from England, but I write in American English because 90% of my readers are American. I love writing paranormal romance, dark fantasy, fluffy Omegaverse and all things supernatural. I regularly leave readers on a cliffhanger, so be prepared to hate me when you get to the end of most of my books.

I also haven't found a way to keep my main female characters with just one guy. I have tried and managed to with An Alpha for Dahlia, but my other series, Scion, Freya Rose and Hellbound, all have either reverse harem or that sort of feel, so please bear this in mind before you read my books. My characters are greedy, lol.

I write how I speak, so I may not appeal to people who read at a very high level. I am dyslexic, so some mistakes may pop up now and again, but I have a unique writing style, and my character and world-building are ace, even if I do say so myself.

You can find me on Google, Amazon, Facebook, Instagram, Waterstones and Tiktok. Just search for L.P. Dillon.

Thanks for reading my waffle post (bio 😂). Here are the books I have available on Amazon.

We meet Freya, a normal teenager, getting ready for her graduation day. She has the most amazing boyfriend, Tristan, his brother happens to be her best friend, Tyler. The only hiccup that Freya has is these darn nightmares and they have been progressively been getting worse in the run up to her eighteenth birthday and then, everything changes.

What Freya didn’t know when she woke up on her graduation day that her WHOLE life was about to change. I won't go full on in to the details as it's truly mind bending, you've just got to read it.

This novel had me hooked from the first page. The main story was compelling, giving only tidbits of information so you would read on to get that scrap of information that you wanted confirmed or couldn’t believe that it was happening! There were several directions that this story went in; wolves, vampires, hunter/angels and then some, but it all came together effortlessly.

I found that each character; Freya, Tristen, Tyler, Mason, Damian, Evan and Cassie, just to name a few, were all identifiable, they have great personalities. Any reader would be routing for the good versus the bad, but then, like in any situation, given all the facts, it may be hard to be on the right team because depending on what outcome they are hoping for is dependent on who they are routing for…. Just to confuse you!

I really enjoyed reading this, I did laugh at parts, I found a few of the characters very amusing. There is undeniably heartbreak, in many parts of this book, but love and forgiveness as well. I must warn, for those that are slightly averse to ‘sexy’ scenes, this does have a fair few!

I must admit I wasn’t sure I liked the way this book ended, and I was literally gob smacked at how Dillon decided to leave the ending, obviously they’ll be another but still, I was upset!!

Abandoned By An Alpha

The Prologue had me intrigued from the start!
3 men and each demanding that Freya choose
This will take you on a roller coaster ride, there is love, betrayal, drama, suspense, action, murder and family, whether by blood or bond.
It was well written fast paced and kept me wanting to turn the pages, my only criticism is the contrast use of the word ‘babe’. Being that this is a YA I understand the prominence but I’m old so it got tiring for me.
The ending will leave you angry, heartbroken and anxiously waiting for the next instalment of the Freya Rose story!

WOW, oh WOW. This is an amazing book that I read in one sitting. From the moment that I started reading I was hooked on it. It moves along at the perfect reading pace which makes it a nice comfortable read. Has characters that you will fall in love with, no matter what. You will want to know about them and see them succeed in their desires and overcome what they need to in order to succeed. The story will grab you from the very beginning and not let go until the very last word has been read, this needs to be on your TBR list for sure. You will not be sorry.

I don't think that I could possibly write a review that would adequately express how much I loved this book. My heart was my throat the entire time. I mean we left off and Freya was in a sticky situation and she pretty much went from one mess to another the entire book. I LOVED the journey of Freya. I love who she is becoming and how strong she is. I love how noticeable her change is to others and how that affects each of these relationships. My heart jumped from Tristan to Mason even the newcomer Samual. Sorry, Balan never had my love HAHA. Dillon's writing is so spectacular in this book that my heart never stood a chance against these characters or the plot twists that occurred. It was only ever along for the ride and what a ride it was. I loved every second of the twists and turns. The suspense, the angst, the heartbreak!! OMG the heartbreak!! Let me not cry. This is a 5-star book only because it wouldn't allow me to give it any more than that. Read this book!

This is one of the best books if not the only.it has a lot of twist and turns and it is definitely not predictable .it makes the reader to feel like the main character. it is fictional yet the events fold like it was reality .according to me we should all go to Freya's world .it deserves more than just five stars

It’s not very well written – and the narrators are awful, but I’m two books and I’ve gotta find out what happens to the girl at this point

Amazing book! Kept me on the edge of my emotions from start to finish! 🥰

This is the first book in the Freya Rose Series. It’s where we first see a glimpse into this exciting supernatural world weaved by L.P. Dillon.

Freya is a regular teen with a regular boyfriend and regular friends in a regular neighborhood. Or so she thought! When Tristan comes out as a wolf, her whole world goes from absolute bliss to terrifying and dangerous, with a side of a lot of heartache. This was written so well and got me completely lost in the emotions of the story that I felt like I was part of their world. I am excited for Freya’s journey as well as feel bad for her and how things played out. Cannot wait for the succeeding books of the series!

I’m an avid reader of anything paranormal and I can truly only beg you to read this book! It gave me everything I could want and more from a great paranormal read! Great plot, great characters, and the story line left me craving more when I was done.

Freya is this strong, independent, take no crap female and believe me, she has a crap show thrown at her most of the book. I’m team Mason ALL THE WAY! Love, love, love this phenomenal read! I am 100% one clicking L.P. From now on!
