He highlights the importance of focusing on your effectiveness as a teacher and not just your efficiency. In this book you will learn how
increase your personal effectivenessidentify what really mattersfocus on what mattersset goals, plan, and achieve them, andreduce your workload but maintain your impact
I’m glad I didn’t pay for this. It is full of great ideas about delegating and hiring others to take on the less important work than what you should really focus on. Except I’m a teacher and I CANNOT do that. So, yeah, helpful.
Most of the other suggestions about maximising your effectiveness, I’m already doing a version of. But I cannot palm off my work to anyone else.
Very practical book full of strategies and tips, however most of these are about delegating and/or hiring others to take on the less important work, which can sometimes be difficult. Other effectiveness tips are mostly common sense in terms of relating to people and people management, but still useful.
