Everly is a mafia princess who should marry another mafia heir.... But after she flees to her grandmother nothing happens. now years later she is attacked in her bakery and Warick Rossi saves her.... And keeps her as his wife😉 Warick needs to settle down but won't marry someone who his father choose. Warick and Everlys attraction is instant and together they grow their family and their characters. A great mafia story with twists and turns, drama, action, betrayal and a whole lot of drama but with a beautiful HEA😍😍😍 and spicy parts as well🥵🥵🥵

Honestly, the plot felt a little rushed. I liked the idea of the story, but the set-up could have used a little bit more flesh, y'know?

A quick warning to other readers- it's not shown or openly described, but there's some CSA alluded to in the book- so tread lightly. Also have a bit of a problem with the FMC almost getting assaulted/maybe getting assaulted and then immediately being like, "Yeah stranger husband, bang it outta me!" Like dang dude, let her stop crying from being traumatized first?
I do think this has a good plot, but the rest of the bits spoiled it a bit for me. (And I'm also aware that I'm coming in on the last book in the series, so take this with a grain of salt.) If you like the rest of the series, I'm sure you'll be hyped for this wrap-up.

Everly and Melody are called to their fathers office one night and told to pack their things. They are devastated to learn that their father has sold them as child brides. Everly is 16 and Melody is 12.
Everly is heartbroken and furious. Their mother cares more about her next fix that her children so she’s no help. Everly takes the gun out of her mothers cupboard and is about to pull the trigger on her father when someone beats her to it. Covering her tracks with the weapon, they eventually move in with their grandma who gives them the love they never received at home.
Five years later, Everly is running a small but successful bakery in Chicago. She is frugal and able to keep her sister safe at a boarding school. It’s tight, but she manages. One day out of the blue, the man that her father promised her to turns up from Detroit. He asks her to cater baked goods for a party he is having. She’s desperate for extra money and he offers her a lot.
While she’s at the party, Warrick Rossi comes to her rescue. He was attending for work purposes, but she’d caught his eye earlier and didn’t understand why but he was drawn to her. He overheard someone say she was a virgin. He also found out that she was from a mafia family with a reputation. He had received a lecture from his father earlier that day about settling down. Warrick is the last of his brothers to get married. A self proclaimed man-whore he doesn’t want to get married to someone his father selects for him. He realised that Everly was one woman he could happily settle down with. He just has to make it happen…
This was a really enjoyable and entertaining read. It’s the last book in the Rossi brothers series but works just as well as a standalone. Loved it.

Imperfect Bride is the fifth book in the Blood Empire series. This sis the second book I have read in this series and by this author and after enjoyed Flawed Bride a lot I knew I wanted to continue reading this series. This story grabs you from the first sentence and keeps you mesmerized until the end. This may be a novella but the story of Everly Gallo and Warrick "Nick" Rossi is well written, has a great story-line that has a few interesting twists and wonderful characters. Everly and her younger sister Melody are fighters who have experienced horrible things in their short lives but it was the Gramma who loved them and taught them both how to bake, which is allowing them to make a living by owning a bakery after she passed. Everaly and Melody grew up with a father who was the head of the Mafia family, had an addict mother and were about to get married off four years ago, with Everly being sixteen and Melody twelve, when there was a dramatic change. Now though their happy new life is about to get upended once again when her father's previous second in command, "Nick" comes into the bakery. Nick has just been told by his father that he is to have an arranged marriage, as it is time for him to have a family and they need a new alliance. When Everly delivers the order and is attacked it is Nick who saves her. He knows he does not want an arranged marriage and instead has found the woman he wants as his wife, Everly. Now all he has to do is convince her that he is different from the man she remembers.

“Imperfect Bride” is the 5th book in the ‘Blood Empire’ series by Blake York. It gives us the story of the last unwed Rossi brother and the woman he decides to take as his wife. ;
Warwick is the final one of the five Rossi brothers to be featured. Each of them have been raised in the cold and violent traditions of their mafia leader/father. He’s the youngest, but he’s just as brutal as his siblings. Everly has had a rough life as the daughter of a heartless mafia boss and a drug addict. She and her younger sister escaped their clutches when her father died about five years ago, amidst very complicated circumstances. A threatening presence from her past returns and Warwick discovers her as well. He also decides that he’s going to choose her as his wife, before his father selects a woman for him. I’m not going to breakdown more of the plot because I don’t want to spoil anything for those who will read the story.
I didn’t enjoy this book as much as some of the others in this series, mostly because it felt a little disjointed to me, and sometimes rushed . The overall story was good, but it seemed to jump here and there. Most of the secondary characters are Warwick’s family, but there are also a couple associated with Everly. I liked how the whole family was involved at the very end of the series.

The Rossi brother’s dangerous men, alpha personified, possessive, oh, so gorgeous, brooding all the makings of a deliciously dark Mafia story. Within the first chapters you get the panoramic view of whom you’re dealing with!

Warrick sexy as all get out youngest Rossi brother who meets Everly purely by accident but the moment he does the attraction is insane. What happens when an arranged marriage ends in a horrific tragedy, will her savior come for her, where will they end up, and will it lead them to happiness?

Warwick has just been told that day that to get prepared for a bride, his dad had arranged all his older brothers marriages. After meeting Everly Gallo, he knows she will be his bride and he tells his dad he will get married but her will pick his bride.
Warwick can tell Everly has been hurt and is scared of intimacy, he take out anyone that has hurt her. Things get steamy as he helps her work thru her issues. This is the final in the Blood Empire series of the Rossi brothers.

When Everly was 16 she was told by her brutal mafia boss father that she's marrying his 2nd in command and her sister is marrying a much much older man so go pack. She instead grabs a gun intending to kill him but someone beats her to it so the girls get sent to live with their grandmother. They live in peace until her grandmother passes away. After which Everly opens a bakery where one day out of the blue her father's 2nd in command shows up to place an order for baked goods for a party. While Everly is making the delivery she gets attacked but it's interrupted by Warwick Rossi. Warwick had been told by his father that day that he needed to get ready for a wife since his father had arranged all his older brother's marriages. After saving Everly he decides that she will be his bride and he tells his father that he'll get married and that hes going to pick his bride. I don't want to say anymore and ruin it for anyone else with spoilers. You really need to read this suspenseful story to see what happens. I would recommend reading this book.

While making the delivery of baked goods she is attacked. Warwick Rossi saves her and decides Everly will be his wife. The changes in each of these characters, the growth of their relationship, the trust they show in each other was compelling. The book is full of steam, twists, betrayals, drama, turns, and more. This was a solid 5 star, well paced, page-turner. All 5 books in the Blood Empire series by Blake Yorker great reads and all are available to read for free on KU. Binge-worthy!!

Everly was 16 years old when her father told her to pack her bags that she was getting married. She also learns that her sister has also been sold to someone for marriage. Everly knows that she will be the only one to protect her sister. Her mother is useless as she's a drug addict, so Everly finds a gun and just as she's getting ready to go into her fathers office someone else kills him. She grabs her sister and they run. Everly is taking care of herself and her sister by opening a bakery. While delivering baked goods to Nick, her father's second in command, he attacks her. Warwick just happens to be there to save her from him. Now Warwick knows who he's going to marry and it's not someone his father picks out for him it will be Everly Gallo. Everly has has been hurt and scared of intimacy but Warwick tells her that he will protect her. There is violence, shootings, kidnappings, and plenty of steamy hot scenes. Great series.

This is one of the best mafia stories I have read so far.
Everly's constant fight against the people who are haunting her, and her insecurities about her growing fellings for Warrick. It is a full on rollercoaster ride to follow her growth through this book.
Warrick is the definition of a protective alpha male. No one touches or threatens what is his, and Everly is his from the first time he lays eyes on her.
Eventhough Warrick has a kind of dominant vibe, it is heartwarming to see how much he cares for Everly, and what he is willing to do for her.
If the great storyline and plot twists in this book is not enough, there is a lot (and I mean a lot) of very hot bedroom/hottub/bakery scenes. For me, these scenes painted a picture of Everly's progression from abussed and scarred girl , to a blooming and loving mother.

This is Book 5 in the Blood Empire Series by this author. It is an enemies to lovers romance between Warrick and Everly. These likeable souls and the unique plot make for an intriguing read. What starts out as an arranged marriage turns into something more. It is a wild ride with drama, action, steam, mafia dynamic, twists and turns, plus appealing secondary characters to keep the reader interested. An engaging page turner with a healthy dose of sexual tension and chemistry, drama and passion, action and suspense. It can be read as a standalone but you enhance your reading pleasure if you read the other books in the series.

I've truly enjoyed every single book in this series. Each one focusing on a different Rossi brother and his wife but also keeping the family connection alive throughout.
Warrick and Everly's story was as perfect as they are for each other. Defying tradition, Warrick chooses his own wife in Everly which turns out to be the best thing for not only himself and her, but for the family as well.
You will not be disappointed in this book or any of the ones that preceeded it. You will love the Rossi Brothers and all that they stand for.
I'm sad that this series has now ended but will definitely re-read the books when I crave a Rossi fix.

loved it !!! love this series !!! love Everly and Warwick... this is their story.. a fast paced action packed mafia drama... Everly and her sister are told to pack a bag , they are getting married... they are only 16 and 12. Everly goes to get a gun to kill her father but, someone beat her to it... they get placed with her grandmother until she dies... she opens a bakery with the money... when she is out on delivery , she gets attacked and Warwick saves her... he needs to marry and he will marry her... this is their journey... a really good ending for the series !!!

I have read the whole series and it gets better with each Rossi. Warrick is the baby of the family. He knows that he will have to marry. He does not wait for his father to pick the bride. He sees Everly at a party and saves her from being attacked. Everly is familiar with the mob life and escaped with her younger sister. She drops this fact on Warrick, and he is pleased to take her as his bride. When danger comes for Everly, Warrick stands up for her. Will they ever escape her dangerous family connections?

I just love mafia books and this was the final book of the Rossi brothers and I loved this book so much because there was a great plot of trying to figure out who killed her dad even though she wanted to but someone killed him first, but when the man who took over her family’s mafia and tries to rape her Warwick comes to the rescue and boy was their first time with sex so hot, I don’t want to spoil the book but the series ends with some really good kick butt action

Everly and Warrick's story concludes The Blood Empire Series. The author once again brings tons of drama,suspense,danger and violence as well as the romance. She packs a ton in this short fast paced story and delivers a great addition to the series. I loved reading their story and especially loved the epilogue.

Warrick is the youngest of the brothers and his father has arranged marriages for all the others. He meets Everly by accident, but he is instantly attracted. She is from the Gallo crime family, but in hiding since her father tried to sell her and her sister into marriages when they were 16 and 12. This is book five of the Blood Empire Series and is perfect. Excellent story with strong and engaging characters and great world building.

What a great read. This story, the last in the series, features Warrick and Everly. They are a perfect foil for each other, he knows from the first time he sees her that she’s the one, and not just because she is the oldest daughter of an assassinated Mafia boss. Great story and characters.

This book was a very hot and action scene this book that I quite enjoyed reading! Even though we're a few scenes that were a little bland but it did mix it up with funny, romance, and drama inside the book. But overall it was a good book and can not wait to read any other books.

Nice last book in this series and I am looking forward to the next one featuring the cousins. Warrick chooses his own wife in this book.I liked the book in general, sometimes the story doesnt feel fluent, a bit choppy and abrupt. Intruiging beginning
